The Waipouli Beach Resort is a new concept in luxury accommodations on the lush island of Kauai, Hawaii and is centrally located within easy reach to any area of the island. My family thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub areas at the Waipouli resort. The unit was plenty big for our family of four and was great because the "kids" didn't have to share a bedroom or bathroom. Mahalo!

Family of three and we stayed two nights (wish we had time to stay longer). Richie was responsive and the place was very clean and well stocked with kitchen amenities, beach stuff, etc. The pool was great and my kid loved the waterslides! Only thing that caught our attention was finding a security camera in one of the rooms as we were cleaning up...not sure why that was there but it was pointing toward the outside. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would book at this property again.

The condo is great! Exactly as listed. The host is very quick to respond to any inquiries. The condo had everything we needed, and more, and everything was in working condition. It was clean, had all listed items for the beach, plenty of pots/pans/utensils. The property is quiet and well maintained. Perfect vacation!

This condo was clean, nicely decorated, master bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. I appreciate that there were some condiments and spices in the kitchen for use, and there were even some items in the bathrooms in case you forgot some thing like sunscreen. You can tell the owner of this property sincerely tries to think of the needs of his guests, which was really nice. Air conditioner worked great and it was a very short walk to the pool and the beach. We would definitely return to this lovely home.

Wonderful stay near the beach!
Family vacation. We picked the perfect place. Close to the beach complete with resident seal. The pool was great for kids and adults. Love the sand bottom beach and hot tub. Everything we needed was in the unit including toys for the beach. Great location. Walk across the road to Safeway Shave Ice Starbucks and other stores. Lots of parking available for a larger vehicle.

Great condo unit ... Great location ... responsive owner
Stayed three nights as a multi-generation family (six people ages 8 to 75). Unit was extremely clean and well stocked. It's especially well set-up if you plan to cook in the unit. The amenities at the resort are perfect for little kids - lazy river and water slides were terrific. Prior to arrival we had some questions and Richie was super responsive. The VRBO listing needs to be updated with the current WiFi password. The password on the site was outdated which caused some consternation among internet junkies missing their fix. All in all, we had a great stay.

The kids loved the double waterslide pool. The family hot tub (suitable for children) was amazing. The unit was very nice and big. Way more room than we usually have on vacation! Some maintenance on the showers needed due to a leaky valve but it didn't affect the quality of our stay. Washer/dryer in the unit was a huge plus. The condo was super clean and the mattresses had covers to protect them. Lots of closet space! Kitchen was well kitted too. We didn't lack for anything. There is a safeway across the street for easy grocery access. We ate at the Oasis for dinner one night and it was AMAZING. Highly recommend.

The resort is in a great location if you want to explore all of Kauai as it is not far to Princeville area (20 minutes) or Poipu Beach (35 minutes) area. There are excellent excursions, like mountain tubing, hiking, kayaking, that are all within 15-20 minutes. Great affordable municipal golf course is very close. Also, it is really nice to have a Safeway just across the street from the entrance of the resort. The rooms finishings are top high quality with adequate sitting and dining space. Rooms are great size and the entire condo is very roomy. Great tubs and showers. Plenty of towels/wash cloths, etc. There are a lot of beach items you can use. Check in/out was very easy and everything you needed was in the room or in the informative email sent by the property manager. Beach is very close and secluded. Water could be a little rough at times when we were there. Oasis restaurant on the beach was fantastic and very accommodating to our large group. The only thing I thought was a little odd is advertising a lazy river pool but you could not use floats in it. I highly recommend this resort as a home base as you explore Kauai

Birthday Celebration
We thoroughly enjoyed our summer vacation to Kauai to celebrate a milestone birthday! We are an adventurous family who kayaked the Napali Coast; hiked to waterfalls; explored so many beaches for snorkeling, surfing and boogie boarding; and ate as much local food as possible. This condo was a perfect place for us to recover and reset. We made full use of the boogie boards and snorkel gear provided as well as the washer and dryer at the end of each adventure. We started our days with breakfast (provisions procured conveniently from a walk to Safeway and Papaya’s across the street) on the lanai and loved having 2 showers for 4 people at the end of each day when we desperately needed them. Our kids would destroy each other sharing a bed so the second bedroom with 2 beds was ideal. Being August in a tropical climate, AC was a must and helped us all rest well. Parking was extraordinarily convenient (such a short distance to lug bags, groceries and tired kids) as was the central location on the eastern shore of Kauai. We could head north, south or inland efficiently. The pool with water slides and waterfalls and the on-site restaurant were terrific! We also walked to rent bikes and rode the paved path along the ocean right from the resort. We had a couple minor issues with our door code and found owner, Richie, to be incredibly responsive. He replied within seconds whenever we had a question and resolved our minor issues immediately. This really enhanced our trip and peace of mind. We had a truly amazing experience!

I have lots of hobbies I enjoy like snowboarding, wake boarding, off road racing, camping, and most of all binge vacationing!!! ;)

Why they chose this property

I stayed at this resort multiple times and fell in love with it. I liked it so much I bought a condo! The location of this particular unit is very nice, its secluded, no road noise like many of the buildings along the street. I had stayed in some of those condos and was not thrilled to watch cars drive by all day and listen to them. When I closed my eyes I laughed and told my chick , hey if you close your eyes all the cars kinda sound like the ocean lol. None of that with this unit, its very quite and peaceful if you want to have all the doors open and enjoy the fresh air. You can sit outside and read a book without distractions, let your kids play in the grass area while you relax inside or out. This building is the closest one to the sand, its also right next to the BBQ's.

What makes this property unique

I chose this property over others in the complex because it has its own grass yard that all 3 rooms open up to. I have kids and its nice to let them play outside while Im relaxing or cooking dinner. I also liked how quite it was outside the unit, its very peaceful. All units facing the main highway have tons of road noise all day and night and I didnt love that. Besides that the parking is close to the unit so you never have to walk far. Its also close to everything the resort has to offer such as the pool, bbq's, food, and bar. You can walk to all of them in under a minute.
