This is a truly delightful house with a secure south facing garden. Four bedrooms, large living/dining room, lovely bright well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a cloakroom, delightful private garden with large garden room and a private courtyard. Parking in the driveway for two cars. No need to concern yourself regarding groceries and start up issues. I provide all your requirements for your stay in the way of fruit, milk tea, coffee ,sugar, biscuits, shampoo, soap, cleaning agents, washing machine and dish washer tablets, plenty of loo rolls, sewing kit(just in case you need a repair!), etc etc. I never forget to leave you a bottle of champagne or whisky just to get your vacation started!
The master bedroom has a king and a single bed with en suite shower room. One double bedroom has two large singles (request before arrival if you wish it converted to super king bed). The third bedroom has a queen double bed and French windows opening onto the courtyard. The fourth bedroom has a single bed with French doors opening into the garden room. The property is perfect for 4 golfers who don't wish to share a bedroom, but it could accommodate more guests. The garden has a gate which leads to the promenade, cycle path, beach and rock pools. All that is required is the weather! Troon really has its own little micro climate as it benefits from the warm gulf stream and often avoids the rain as it is situated in Arran's rain shadow. Many are amazed to find Troon dry and sunny whilst the rain is pouring down less than half a mile away!
You will love watching the kite surfers flying past and the amazing sunsets. The property is ideally situated for all amenities. It is the first property on the beachfront next to the prestigious Royal Troon Golf Club. It is about a seven minute walk to the train station providing a regular service to Glasgow (40 minutes) We have many lovely restaurants if you prefer not to cook whilst on holiday. We also have many restaurants that will provide takeaways for you to enjoy a meal in the comfort of your own home. If you do wish to show off your culinary skills then you will want for nothing in the very well equipped kitchen which also boasts a large brand new fridge freezer and a large double oven with ceramic hob.

Great golf location in ayr
Hosts June and John were wonderful. Set us up for breakfasts and the local area. Very friendly easily accessible both when arriving during the stay and as we left. The property was perfect for our group of 4 and centrally located to some great golf course. Would definitely recommend this location in this area. Very clean. Exploring Scotland
Our first visit to Scotland and Troon was delightful. Our Hostess had the home sweetly decorated with fresh flowers in many of the rooms and treats of goodies and fresh fruit! Plenty of room for all (6 plus baby), walking distance to golf, the beach and the downtown. Lovely linen and comfy beds, charming sunroom with all the extras. It was evident much thought and care was spent preparing for our visit. Hope to visit again! Many thanks.

Our stay was wonderful and June was a very attentive "host" who even left some Scottish groceries to start our stay. The location was wonderful, house was perfect for our family needs and the highlight was sitting out in the "conservatory" with the fire burning at night. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely flat, right next to the beach, close to everything. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen amenities were amazing. Great TV and wifi and you could hear the ocean waves at night. June is a fabulous host!

Beautiful apartment
Very clean, larger than expected and well equipped apartment. Brilliant location in Troon just by the beach and easy walking distance to all the places to eat in the village. Great for those travelling with a four legged friend. June made us feel part of the family and on hand for any questions. Would definitely recommend this holiday home.

Lovely cosy garden flat with spacious rooms
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Wee Hoose, garden flat Westview over the festive period. The flat was very comfortable and cosy. It was the ideal place to stay for the family. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough for a break away in this beautiful town. The beach is minutes away which offers stunning walks along the coastline.

Wonderful home and host!
Stayed here with 3 friends for a golf trip. We were able to walk to Royal Troon from the home. Excellent accommodations with basically everything you need for a very comfortable stay. June and her husband John could not have been more hospitable. Truly lovely people and enjoyed sharing a dram with them. Communication throughout the entire rental process was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends and family.

Fantastic Garden Villa!
This 3 bedroom garden villa was absolutely delightful. We arrived to milk & champagne in the fridge, and chocolates & morning rolls on the counter. The place was clean, light, & bright, with super cute garden patios off the back doors, and access to the main garden - which was just SO lovely. The seaside walking path was easily reached for taking a lovely walk, or a stroll along the beach. June was the quintessential hostess, providing us with every comfort and always close at hand for questions or needs to be met. We felt pampered and so very comfortable during or stay - Troon is a lovely town and close enough to many local attractions, Glasgow & Edinburgh are easily accessed by train if you don't want to drive. I have nothing but praise for our stay here, we couldn't have been more comfortable if we'd stayed in a 4-star hotel. We absolutely loved staying here and it will be our first choice to stay in when we return. Many, many thanks to June for her unparalleled attention to customer service, and all her thoughtful kindness's to my family during our stay.

Super "Wee Hoose", great location and very helpul owner
We spent 3 nights at the "Wee Hoose" on our way to the Highlands. The house is in a premium location on South Beach, with superb views and with a garden (with rear gate) backing right on to the beach area. The house itself was just right for our needs. Three good sized bedrooms on the ground floor with reception rooms having views to Ailsa Craig and Arran. The house was spotless and very well equipped, including toiletries and we very much appreciated June's welcoming gifts. All in all it was a very relaxing stay. June went out of her way to be helpful, including lending our teenage boys some bikes so they had extended Pokemon hunting range! We understand that the Wee Hoose is being sold, but that June has another property on South Beach. If we came back to Troon we would certainly look to book with June if we could.

Perfect golf Holiday
We were a groupe of 6 golf friends staying at June and John's Holiday home middle from june 11th to 19th. We were very well welcomed and stayed in this perfectly well situated house along the south beach road of Troon. Close to town and just a few steps from the beach, this Holiday home was perfect. Golfs all around the area are fantastic including the 3 public courses just 500meters from the house. June and John were fantastic hosts giving us all the information we needed during our stay. We will for sure be back if coming in this area. Thank you :-).

Lovely weekend
Made to feel very welcome and felt very much at home at 60 South Beach. We were very lucky with the weather too and managed to have walks along the beach. Welcome pack for guests in the kitchen very much appreciated and saves you worrying about tea/coffee, milk etc. when you arrive. The Prosecco too was greatly enjoyed by the girls. Laura

A delightful house in a magnificent setting
Impeccably presented and customer service is exemplary, being personally welcomed by the owner, and the welcome hamper was delightful. What a location - watching the sunrise in the morning overlooking the sea to the Isle of Arran from the lounge window! Our mad Irish Red Setter loved the ability to run on the beach once we opened the gate at the bottom of the garden. We will be back.

Beautiful house in an excellent location.
This property was first class in so many ways. Superb kitchen/diner, lovely bedrooms, sunny garden and patio. June couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. Extras like the shortbread biscuits to go with the tea/coffee/milk, and even the prosecco provided, were very nice touches as were the fresh fruit and fresh flowers in the rooms. Leather reclining sofa in the lounge very comfortable but other sofa and chair a bit less so. Would suggest a hook on the back of the door to bedroom 2. Shower in the en suite off the hot water system so temperature could fluctuate but not a big problem. Minor issues in what is a lovely welcoming, homely 'wee house'.

An excellent 'Wee Hoose'
A very clean, well equipped and comfortable house in a town with much to offer the tourist as well as the golfer. particularly in the area of food. Proximity to Dumfries House and Culzean Castle is a real advantage. June's hands on approach and commitment to service marks this out from many holiday lets where a housekeeper changes the linen after you leave and that is it. We will definitely seek to return soon and recommend it to others.

I was born and brought up in Darvel in the Irvine Valley and travelled to school in Ayr. I left Ayrshire to go to Edinburgh Uni in 1971. After uni I remained in Edinburgh to work and bring up our three children with my husband John. Although we had a wonderful life in Edinburgh I always had a longing to return to Ayrshire where I grew up. Once our children left school we did just that and are presently enjoying retired life in the upper villa of this lovely property which used to belong to my parents. We love living here in Troon and hope that if you choose to stay in the Seaside Garden Villa here at 86 South Beach you too will enjoy your stay. It is a very quiet part of Troon and you can relax in your garden listening to the sound of the waves and the call of the seagulls! Very relaxing and good for the soul!

Why they chose this property

The double upper of this property belonged from 1980 to my parents. We always enjoyed visiting them from Edinburgh especially the children who thoroughly relished their freedom to play in the dunes, swim in the sea, fish in the rock pools, play on the beach, cycle on the promenade, play golf on the local courses and play tennis! In May 2017 I purchased the lower part of this beautiful house and I am now delighted to offer this property for holiday lets so that others can have a similar opportunity to enjoy this lovely location. The scope is enormous! The seaside ground floor villa is perfect for a family or a couple looking for a peaceful break from busy life. It is also ideal for golfers and is situated next to Royal Troon and also the many local golf courses in the area. Many families from around the globe have enjoyed bringing their children here for a lovely seaside break. I have had several guests from the USA coming to retrace their heritage and to have a good time! I have had groups staying after a wedding to continue their celebrations and families often celebrating a parent or grandparent's special birthday or anniversary.

What makes this property unique

Bright, sunny and spacious accommodation. Having four bedrooms makes it a fantastic choice for golfers who visit regularly from all corners of the globe. The house could not be better placed as being on the beach front it is next door to Royal Troon ! This summer (2024) an amazing custom built garden room was completed offering guests a place to relax and enjoy the seasons no matter what the weather brings! It has luxury furnishings, Persian rug and 77" top of the range tv. Sliding glass doors open onto a large patio. It is a perfect place for you to relax and watch your children play safely in the private garden. If you or your children enjoy cycling you can cycle safely along the promenade or try the many cycle paths on offer. It is also a short walk to the play park and our delightful little town where you can enjoy a variety of coffee shops, tea rooms and restaurants.
