Perfect vacation spot for families on Holiday Isle. The kids can feed the fish from their hand. Plenty of crystal white sand for the kids (up to 85 years) to build castles. This is where the dolphins play! Convenient location to scuba dive (you can carry your scuba gear out to the jetties). Be sure to bring your snorkeling gear. This is a very safe area where you can walk at night on sidewalks with a scenic view of either the Gulf or the fishing marina. Cheap shuttle service to shopping and restaurants. Short walk to waves or harbor. This is a nice, well-cared for condo that is kept very clean and was recently updated with new kitchen, new baths, and smart TVs. Fully furnished with washer/dryer, full kitchen, nice bedrooms with good linens. Bicycles, chairs, umbrellas and sand toys free for your use. All you need are personal care items. Garage beneath for your car plus additional storage area. No pets; no smoking.

Comfortable condo and uncrowded beach area

The condo is updated, clean and comfortable with plenty of beach toys. The owner is quick to respond to any questions and very friendly to deal with. The walk to the open gulf is a bit of a trek but worth it and isn't very crowded. The walk to the jetties is quick for snorkeling. We had a great stay!!

Great Vacation

Nice and clean. Loved the accessories in the garage. A huge plus to have chairs and umbrellas to bring to the beach. Bikes were nice to use also. Kids enjoyed the snorkel gear. They had a blast. Overall, very nice vacation.

Great location!

This condo is outdated but it had everything we needed! The 3 beds were perfect. It was an easy walk to the beach/ ocean (I would not suggest the walk with young children though, it’s a little less than .5 mile through sand dunes. The neighbor was SO friendly & gave great recommendations (like the water taxi to the Boardwalk & where we saw 7 dolphins along the way)! Thanks for a great experience Marvin!

Great place to stay with great location

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The owner has everything you may need if you don’t want to bring beach stuff with you. ( chairs, cart, umbrella, a grill to use, beach floats and toys) We brought our own things but was so amazed at all the offerings that were there IF we hadn’t OT had forgotten something. The ONLY thing negative I can say is the noise above you if there are guest there. THIS IS NOT THE PROPERTY OWNERS FAULT AT ALL!! For the last few days of our stay it sounded like a wrestling match was above us taking place until around 1am. The place is LOVELY as can be an suited our little family just fine. We loved it other than the noisy upstairs neighbors.

Cute Condo by the Ocean

This condo is in the middle of everything you need. There are restaurants, grocery stores and a liquor store less than five miles away. The ocean is a bit of a trek through the sand. But the sand feels great on your feet and its good exercise. I believe that families with babies in strollers would not find it as pleasant. There is a little cart, chairs, and lots of beach toys in the downstairs garage for use. There are bikes and a gas grill to use as well. I was very pleased with the generous accommodations. The only thing that my kids were disappointed with was the lack of wi-fi. Didn't bother me a bit. We still had cable and were able to watch the news and Shark Week. All the furniture was comfortable with ample linens. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchenware. The balcony is not private. It is shared with a really nice lady next door. We never felt crowded. The harbor is just across the channel. We were able to watch fireworks from the beach on Thursday. Overall, my family of five was very pleased with the place and hope that we get a chance to go back someday.

Deceiving pictures

Initial sight was a bit unnerving as we expected a condo with private access and nice homes surrounding us. This is not the case. Pictures in listing make you feel like the property has a private balcony, which it does not. It is the end of a apartment complex access walk. The walls are very thin and you will hear every toilet flush, shower, step, and video game of you next door and neighbors above you. We had a screaming baby the last night that kept us up most the night. Kids ran the length of the apartment above us all hours of the night. Twin beds are extremely soft and lop sided. Queen bed is really hard. Furniture in living room squeaks and has ugly brown covers on it. There is not chair. Glasses in kitchen are chiped around the lips. Very minimal appliances, no coffee, sugar, creamer, or any of the normal welcome care packages provided. We had to purchase toilet paper and paper towels, as there was no extras and toilet paper was super super thin single ply. Towels where stained and yellow, bedding had bleach stains, and grab bar in master is broke. There is no water pressure and water does not get very hot. The beach access has private property signs everywhere limiting your access to the beach. The one access point from the property is around the corner and on the adjacent resorts property. They allow you to walk it, but the majority of the beach belongs to the resort and you are only allowed to set up on the ends and must fight the snorkeling boat crowds. We needed a package delivery from Amazon and you have to either wait and catch the mailman or make a trip to the post office to make sure they do not put them in the parcel box. The owner does not have a key and will not get one, so your package is lost to the abyss if it is put in there. Parking is very limited, one small car and a small SUV must park with hood touching garage door, and second vehicle directly behind and as close as you can get. Anywhere else and you will get towed.

Amazing family trip

Comfortable and cheery

My family had a wonderful time at this lovely little condo. We enjoyed daily walks through the gorgeous dunes to the beach, bike rides to the jetty, sitting on the balcony feeling the Gulf breezes. The full kitchen afforded us the opportunity to eat home cooked meals but there were also many great restaurants to choose from for more options. The condo is so bright and the beach dècor so cheery. Adorable and Relaxing

Loved the condo! Very clean & comfortable!

The beach behind condo is beautiful, and awesome for snorkeling!! Close to everything-the harbor walk village is a must to spend an afternoon, and the boardwalk is a short drive away-also a must. This place is great for families, couples, or singles! Something for everyone! We absolutely loved the condo and plan to come back next year!!

Very clean and spacious for our family

Property was clean and had loads of extra sleeping. Master is very roomy and our kids loved the twin beds. We loved having coffee on the balcony in the mornings and ghost crab hunting at night. We found umbrellas, chairs, and bicycles in the garage. It was a short walk to the harbor (not the boardwalk) to see the boats coming in and a nice sunset. We had a fabulous vacation!! And look forward to returning in the future!!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!!

We had the best time!! Its nice to be able to relax when you go to the beach and not have the big crowds you get at the resorts. The kids had the best time snorkeling around the Jetty's and exploring underwater. The Sand Dunes are beautiful and the views from the beach are amazing. The Condo is clean and very comfortable. Its setup to be a home away from home. Cannot wait to go back next year!!

Great Condo!

This condo was perfect for our needs for our first trip to Destin. It was the perfect size for my family (two adults and two young adults.) The beds were comfortable & the condo sufficiently furnished. This condo isn't fancy, but it's clean and comfortable and there's a nice view of the water from the balcony. It's conveniently located to all area attractions. The owner provides pamphlets & info on these attractions as well as area restaurants. We saw dolphins every day in both the jetties and on the beach. The walk to the beach is a little lengthy, but great exercise.The sunsets were breathtaking!!! The kitchen was well stocked; plenty of pots, pans & dishes. We cooked breakfast a couple of times. It's an easy trip from the condo to many restaurants if you choose to enjoy the local flavor. There are plenty of beach toys, chairs and umbrellas, though we had brought our own and didn't use them. The only thing we really needed to bring were our own beach towels, which aren't provided, but that wasn't a problem. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths for baths and showers, though. The owner is very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed our conversations prior to our visit. My family and I definitely enjoyed staying here and will return again!
