Great Little House on Evans Lake

This place was perfect for our quick trip to the lake. Very clean, kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils, and a nice grill in back. Great for families- books, board games, and toys!

Cozy and wuaint

Spent a lovely 71st birthday weekend here with my best friend—mornings sipping coffee on the porch; afternoons reading and swimming; evenings with wine and conversation. The cottage is cozy and quaint with all we needed.

Reliving Childhood Memories

This little cottage was exactly what we needed! My childhood vacations were spent on Evan's Lake, and it still had the magical feel. The property is very well kept and clean. The kids loved the sandy play area (ages 2 & 5), playing in the shallow water, and feeding the little minnows bread crumbs in the morning. The kayaks and paddle boat were a nice addition. The faces of the kids when they caught their first fish was priceless. The neighbors were very friendly! We definitely would love to come back and stay here again. S.J. Fugate

Beautiful home on a peaceful lake

Beautiful home on a beautiful lake in the Irish Hills. The home had all of the amenities a family could wish for. The owner was easy to get ahold of if you have any questions. Charming place for any couple or small family to stay. Wonderful place.

Week in Tipton paradise

The perfect lake house

We had a perfect week at the Lake Affect cottage! The house is quaint but has every amenity needed. Christi and Jeff put a lot of thought and care into the details and it sure shows! We appreciated the extra efforts they made to make our stay comfortable. The house was clean, neighborhood quiet and friendly. The lake offered so many activities to keep our kids entertained from dawn until dusk as we found time to relax! Christi and Jeff were very helpful and prompt in communication as well! If you’re looking for a sweet retreat, then this is the place!

Perfect Lake House

This house is adorable! They have thought of everything and is generously stocked. The kids had a great time building sand castles and swimming. Relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Can’t wait until we can go back to Evans Lake.
