Lovingly renovated in January 2019 with attention to detail our stylish apartment is set in the heart of the historical and charming centre of Tavira and is a stones throw away from the Roman Bridge, Ponte Romana. Casa Oliverio has a spacious lounge and dining area which is tastefully decorated and includes a large sofa that easily converts to a large very comfortable sofa bed and the room includes newly installed aircon/heating with a flat screen TV. The balcony overlooks Bishops Square (Jardin Alagoa) and a view of the River Gilao and is set on a typical Portuguese street. A brand new kitchen is fully equipped and includes an electric hob and oven, washing machine, fridge/freezer, Krups coffee machine and Bosch kettle/toaster. There's also an iron and ironing board with indoor and outdoor drying facilities coupled with a picnic hamper set for you to use. A newly fitted bathroom with stylish tiles and a walk in shower with towels, toiletries and dressing gowns provided. There is a separate double bedroom with wardrobe and drawers which has aircon/heating coupled with a stylish ceiling fan. A hairdryer and hair straighteners are provided. There's an additional wardrobe/storage cupboard in the hallway.
Beach towels and beach umbrella are also provided during your stay in the charming city of Tavira for visits to the many local beautiful beaches.
Set on the 2nd floor in an block of 4 apartments and overlooks a typically Portuguese central square with all amenities on your doorstep including an abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants and shops. We will welcome you with local produce to sample for your stay at Casa Oliverio and will provide information of local attractions, facilities and recommendations.
Casa Oliverio is located in the centre of Tavira overlooking Bishops Square and some noise and activity can be expected particularly during the summer months, this is part of it's charm as there are a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants at ground level.

The 18th century moorish architecture surrounds cobbled streets connected by a roman bridge, Ponte Romana which is a stone's throw away from Casa Oliverio. There's a hill top castle ruins with attractive walled gardens and 37 churches which admirably contribute to it's seductive charm. The central gardens is a great place to have a local ice cream and watch the terrapins in the centre of the gardens which is surrounded by cafes bars and restaurants. Portugal is the third safest country in the world and Tavira is one of the safest cities in Portugal. Being here feels like taking a pleasant and relaxing step back in time and all within walking distance.
