Ok

I was given an inaccurate description of the beds. I was told the twin bed was a trundle in the game area, but it was a bed in the upstairs room. Also was left NOTHING to clean with a weekend without a broom and 2 children was difficult so I had to go buy a broom.

Great Budget Stay

We rented this cabin for a bachelorette party. It is about 20-25 minutes from pigeon forge/Dollywood. The cabin was a great stay for a cheaper price as compared to some others in that area. The only not so great part was a short stretch of the road getting there that had some deep ruts. It doesn’t last very long and you’re back to asphalt but a higher clearance vehicle is recommended. The hot tub is alright, the jets do not work very well. Big living room for gathering but the couches seem to be worn out. The beds were comfortable just noisy. Not many extra blankets or comforters so bring extras.Overall good place to stay!

Weekend trip

The cabin was very clean and home feeling. The beds are very comfortable. There is a lot of beds . The only thing I wish it had was a view there was no view we are at the bottom of a hill and the hot tub jets and lights didn’t work well and smelled a little funny but the water was hot .

Good and affordable stay for travelers seeking to spend time in Pigeon Forge/the smokies

This property was a pretty nice getaway for me and my friends to spend some time in TN. I recommend others to stay here if they are looking for a good cabin to stay in that's close to Pigeon Forge. The drive to the cabin is a little sketchy as there is either a really rocky road you take or a very steep hill but regardless it is worth it

Roads are terrible and not maintained/brush needs cut back off road

The final descent to the property is over a 45 degrees road. Had to use 4 wheel drive when roads were slightly wet. Jets on Hot tub were poor at best. Cabin was very comfortable. We had an enjoyable time but roads were difficult.

Needs TLC

The area, view, and close proximity to area attractions were great. The gravel drive leading to the cabin was extremely rough. We had a full size SUV, but I cannot imagine that a smaller SUV or car would be able to make it through. Upon first glance of the interior of the cabin, it seemed to be all we had hoped for, but when going to pull out the pull out bed in the downstairs sofa, the enire bed and underneath the cushions were covered in mold. Thats where the we started noticing black mold on the upstars loft railings, the ceiling from what looked like previous water damage, the love seat, and chair also had mold under the cushions not as severe as the couch but still very much there. The upstairs bedroom also had black mold on the ceiling. The carpeting did have stains and given the mold issue mentioned everywhere else in the house, no doubt likely needs to be removed as well. The hot tub was not clean and was green with a very dirty filter floating around in it. I wish that the listing would have also noted that the water supply was well water. Overall, I received a multitude of text messages from the property management during our stay, however I broke my phone on the 1st day of our trip, so needless to say I did not get any of those messages until we had already returned home, but I will leave 5 stars for communication due to the good effort. The property needs to be rennovated, as the mold issue poses health risks. th

Hurricane Helene disaster

Rented and paid for this rental in September for a family reunion with our children. The plan was for us to stay and go to Dollywood for a few days and spend time together. Hurricane Helene hit us the week before we were supposed to go. Because our town was demolished, we had to leave town the day of the hurricane for Fort Moore (Columbus, GA) so that our family would have power and water. While there, we were forced to buy a generator, trailer (to haul it back), numerous supplies, food, and water. We also incurred a substantial amount in housing during that week. At that point, doing more traveling and spending more money wasn’t the best idea. We’re a military family and don’t have thousands of dollars to just burn. Contacted Vacasa to see about getting a partial refund….PARTIAL. Was told flat out that regardless, I should have purchased travel insurance and that they didn’t give refunds. Why didn’t I purchase insurance? Why would I? Our college aged children were coming from 2 other states so that we could all be together. Interestingly enough, a friend of mine rented a weekend cabin off VRBO and didn’t go because of the storm and was told the owner would rebook them for another weekend. That’s customer service! I will never rent again from VRBO. I’ll stick to MWR rentals from now on. This storm was an absolutely terrible situation made worse by the uncaring folks at this rental.

Disappointed

Not cleaned well, very dusty, bathroom tile was gross, said it slept 8 but that's if the other 4 were small children under 10, which they weren't, fitted sheet didn't fit pull out bed and wouldn't stay on, broken tile in kitchen at floor ac vent, air hockey table didn't work and livingroom TV picture cut in and out ever 30 seconds. Cabin needs some attention.

Horrible

I did not love the home. The home had nasty panties and had spiders in the home. They didn't want to refund me the money for at least a cleaning service that they charge $250 for. It was a very unpleasant stay and they were very rude and would not understanding that whatsoever

Fall visit

Listing says mountain view, this is misleading, it is a mountain forest view. The road to the cabin is what you expect, it is steep and narrow but very drivable. It is a nice cabin, furniture is good. Hot tub only a few jets working but it was clean. The cleanliness looks good when you walk in but then goes downhill. There was dust, dirt, and candy wrappers under furniture, some of the corners in the bedrooms and bathrooms had cobwebs. The second bath shower does not work. The worst was the kitchen, there was silverware with food on it yet put in the drawer, some of the dishes, glasses and pots had dried on food left on/in them. It looked like they had been put away before washing. The dishwasher did work fine for us.

Needs Update and Repairs

This property was probably fantastic in its "Heyday" but it seems that it has been neglected for quite some time. The tub needs new faucets as trying to adjust the water temperature was almost impossible. The carpet is very stained and needs to be replaced as well as several broken tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms. Bathrooms have a lot of rust in tubs and commodes. One of the wheels is off the dishwasher making it troubling to pull out and reload. The garbage can in the kitchen had decayed food underneath the trash bag when emptied. There were very limited spoons and forks in the kitchen (maybe 3 or 4 at most). On a brighter note it was close to the shops, restaurants and stores that we had targeted and the outside of the cabin was a fun place.

the maintenance of the property is not appropriate

It must be clarified that to get to this property the last part of the road is made of stone and is very bad, only 4x4 trucks arrive. (We were two cars and the engine was almost damaged from below) the cabin has many bad details. the bathroom downstairs, the drainage was bad and it took time for the water to go down. the toilet is stained. One day the sewage went up through the bathroom sink and it smelled super bad. The ceiling fan in the first floor room was damaged and only worked directly when the light was on. the table lamps next to the bed were damaged. in the room on the second floor there was not good lighting. two sticks on the pool table were broken and they were left there and it was dangerous. It looks like they don't maintain the property.

October vacay

The home is in a quiet area, beautiful fall colors. Road getting there rough. Didn’t use 4 wheel drive, though if the dirt/gravel road worsens over time it might require one. House adequately equipped except no dish towels or dish cloths. Over all cleanliness I’d have to give a 2 out of five. Floors are dirty, carpet really bad which in their defense it is end of season, tub in master not clean, looks like previous people left testing of the poor cleaning here and there. Small things tucked in places and some right out in the open…Example: a small piece of dry cereal was left on the banister upstairs, obviously the area was not cleaned, it’s right out in the open. A bar of soap was left semi hidden, the area it’s in has not been cleaned in some time, obvious to the naked eye. These little things clued me in, That cleaning habits are poor. Trash bins were stuffed to capacity so we could not take our trash out. I did send an e-mail about this and got no response. From the cabin aspect I would rent again, from the cleanliness aspect I would not. I cleaned what I needed after I arrived, left the rest as was….. as when I’m on vacation it’s not my job to clean. I think now that we have lived through a pandemic the one thing that customer should expect to see when staying somewhere is basic cleanliness, this place falls FAR SHORT ON THAT! We did go ahead and stay the week once we arrived. So I guess if we catch anything, that will be on us! We did also about mid week see a few roaches. The Orkin guy showed up to spray while we were there, I had e-mailed about this the same time I e-mailed about trash. So even though this should never happen I felt like they were trying a little.

We just rented this cabin for 4 days. The cabin was okay but the pictures need to be updated as it doesn't look this nice anymore. The outside yard needs attention & the house needs a VERY deep cleaning. The carpet is stained & gross & didn't look like it had been vacuumed, the bathtub downstairs was black (probably from the well water so that wasn't a super huge deal), the upstairs shower didn't work, there was a wad of hair stuck to the door of the toilet paper outhouse next to the toilet, there was garbage thrown in the yard & stuffed into the tree stumps along the driveway, there was a red solo cup under one of the beds, an empty chip bag under the other bed, & my favorite was the dirty pair of underwear behind the nightstand. The worst part was the cockroaches in the house. I emailed Vacasa a picture of the first one we found the first night we were there & still haven't recieved a response. We only found 3 while we were there, but they were all in the kitchen & if there's 3, there's more. There was an exterminator at the cabin next to us the day we got there (obviously bugs are expected in the middle of a mountain, but the cockroaches were pushing it for us.) I'm giving it a 3 star rating because the house was cozy, but I wouldn't rent it again.

I travel all around the world and this cabin is the dirtiness place I’ve ever stayed. Floors were sticky. Carpet dirty. Bathtub was not clean and a used towel left on the shower Rod. Pillowcase had fecal matter on it Dirty dishes in the cabinet Could be a great cabin but needs a lot of TLC
