This comfortable and stylishly remodeled 2 bedroom/2 bath beachfront condo is on the first floor of a well maintained 24 unit complex. It is, literally, steps from the pool and the beach. Very few stairs to climb and no need to even put on your flip-flops.

The living area features contemporary furnishings including a queen size sleeper/sofa, 42” flat-screen TV with DVD player, small ipod/MP3 docking station, and a photo-faux fireplace.

Sculpted glass French doors leading to the master bedroom provide privacy while filling the room with light. This room has a king-sized bed and 22' television. The master bath has been completely remodeled with fashion plumbing and a custom tile double shower. A touch of cleanly decadence.

The second bedroom has 1 double and 1 twin bed. The guest bath has also been renovated and features a tub/shower combo, tile floor, wainscoting, and updated vanity & toilet.

The private patio can be accessed from either the master bedroom or the living room. Four bar-height eucalyptus deck chairs make for comfortable seating while you take in the views of the dunes, Inter-coastal Waterway, and listen to the crashing waves.

The kitchen has also been completely refurbished with new counter tops, floors, lighting, glass tile backsplash, fresh paint, and a bar-height table big enough to seat six for dining or games. It is fully equipped with everything you will need from a coffee maker in the morning to a blender in the evening.

There is free WIFI and on-site washer/dryer for your convenience. Central heat/air promise year round comfort. Sorry, but our condo association does NOT allow pets, and there is NO SMOKING.

Along with sand and surf, Carolina Beach offers a wide variety of family fun! The picturesque beach boardwalk is only ½ mile from the condo. It is the perfect place to find beach rentals, bikes, golf carts, bars & restaurants, and gift shops. During the summer months there are even amusement rides and games. Around the corner are the docks with party boats and no shortage of charter fishing boats to make your angling dreams come true. A few blocks to the north is Freeman Park where you can drive on the wide-open beach for a private sunning spot or a night-time bonfire. 4x4s are required.

A short drive to the south end of the island brings you to Ft. Fisher, the site of one of the last battles of the Civil War and the North Carolina Aquarium at Ft. Fisher where you can get up close to sharks, loggerhead turtles, and Luna - the rare albino alligator. Just beyond that you can catch the car ferry across the mouth of the Cape Fear River to the quaint town of Southport with even more shopping, restaurants, galleries, and fun.

Thirty minutes inland is the charming downtown area of Wilmington, NC. Set on the banks of the Cape Fear River, an easy stroll along the river boardwalk takes you to boutiques, restaurants, and antebellum homes. Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage tour, then take the short drive across the drawbridge to visit the USS North Carolina - the WWII era battleship moored permanently within view of downtown.

No smoking allowed in house. Under no circumstances is smoking permitted inside. Smoking is only permitted outside on the premises if the home's policy allows. No Smoking Policies are strictly enforced. Violations will result in charges to guest for additional cleaning and could result in eviction of guests without refund and/or negation of rental in future.

Under no circumstances is grilling permitted on wooden decks and boardwalks or underneath buildings or homes. Grilling Policies are strictly enforced. Violation may result in eviction without refund. Guest will be held financially and legally accountable for problems or damages caused by violations.

No Pets allowed. Under no circumstances are pets are permitted in this home or on these premises at any time. Unauthorized pets shall result in eviction and/or at Carolina Retreats' sole discretion double pet rent plus tax per reserved night payable on demand for each pet. Guest will be held financially and legally accountable for problems or damages caused by violations.

Partial Week Getaways are permitted during the off season.
• During Mid-August – Mid-June: Partial Week Getaways and Advance Bookings with Alternate Arrival/Departure Days with a 3-night minimum stay are permitted in advance with any arrival and departure day.

-A non-refundable Advance Reservation administrative fee is charged for each requested week.

-The tenant renting a home in the present year has priority status for the same approximate dates in the house next year if they make their Request on or before the last day of their stay this year.

-Dates are available for Requests to be booked by the public beginning at 9:00AM ET on the first weekday following the tenant's checkout.

-An Advance Request does not guarantee the rental season or the availability of a home or its rental rate for the next calendar year. The availability of a home for rental, the rental rate, and changes to a home or its amenities and furnishings, are established solely by the homeowner.
