Kayakers Cove overlooks Munising Bay bike to town

Our home has two bedrooms on the main floor with queen size beds in each. There is also a smaller bedroom on the mainfloor that has a single bed. There is one bathroom with full shower/tub. The kitchen is furnished with all the pots,pans and dishes you might need. The basement has queen size bed down there too. Washer and dryer are in the basement. Backyard has a fire pit with great view of the bay if you want additional privacy.. The front deck also offers a fantastic view of Lake Superior. The home comes with linens, towels etc. It has satellite tv, wifi and Netflix. Cell phone service is one to two bars. We are about 1 mile from downtown Munising. Firewood is supplied on a limited basis. Lawn chairs are provided. You can see us at Kayakers Cove. We do rent kayaks too. Please note we do allow pets, however we need to talk to you about your pet before we accept your booking. So please let us know you are bringing a pet when you request a reservation. There is no automatic fee on this forum so please note pets are $25 per pet per stay. That will have to be paid upon arrival.

Beautiful vacation!!

The property was stunning and super clean. Check in was a breeze and we definitely took advantage of the Pictured Rocks National Park pass! Even got to see some northern lights from the house!

We are long time friends who have always been involved in, among other things running, biking, hiking, and climbing. This property in Munising was the perfect site/hub to venture out to partake in the adventures that the Munising Marquette area offers.

We really enjoying our stay in Munising! Our host was friendly and helpful for questions we had about the area. The house is in a great location on a quiet street just steps away from Lake Superior and a short drive away from Pictured Rocks shoreline. There was plenty of space for my family of 5 with everything we needed for our stay. Thanks for everything!

Just as the pictures show Clean and close to downtown Had a great time catching up with friends!! 😁 Munising is a beautiful place to visit, enjoyed the Pictured Rocks Cruise and renting ATV from Renze Power Sports, Falling Rock Cafe also has our vote as a favorite place to stop 👍

Great home to land in after exploring the area

We had a great time exploring Munising and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. There are two falls close by that shouldn’t be missed. This home is as just as described with a front porch that perfect to watch the sun set and enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

Lovely home overlooking Munising Bay

Upon arrival the home was warm and inviting, the couches and beds were super comfy. It lies on a dead end street, there's a bench to watch the sunset at night, just breathtaking! Communication was easy through our VRBO app and checkin was smooth. Overall our stay was fun, exciting and relaxing, we enjoyed the hiking but we also enjoyed staying in and watching Netflix too lol. Thanks again for your generosity and sharing you beautiful home with us!

Fall Colors Trip

We had a wonderful time - saw a lot of beautiful scenery. UP is gorgeous - hit and miss, of course on the color! Went to Copper Harbor over 10/5/22 and had snow - can't complain about the weather this trip!!! Would have been nice to be able to walk down to the lake from the house. Comfortable and Clean

The place was bigger, cleaner and more comfortable than I expected. The kitchen area had plenty of room for dining and gathering. Bedrooms were clean and plenty of room. The basement bedroom was great for getting away from the rest of the group when a nap or sleeping in was a priority. The fire pit made for a great way to wrap up the day and tell stories. The location is perfect for spending the day on the water or in the park without a long drive.

Great Location - close to waterfalls and kayaking

This was a comfortable home in a great location. We were able to take a short walk from the front door to see Tannery Falls. There were more than 10 beautiful waterfalls within close driving distance. We were 8-10 minutes from the tour company we used for an amazing kayak tour of Pictured Rocks National Shoreline. There was plenty of room for our family of four with the kids having their own space in the basement. It was a short bike ride into town, some of it on a separate trail, the rest on a wide shoulder of the road.
