This is one of the best VRBOs we've stayed in on our many trips to Santa Cruz. Great location--just minutes to West Cliff and all the action on the Wharf, but in a pretty, quiet neighborhood. The casita had everything our family needed for our 1-week stay and the kitchen was stocked as well as our own at home for meal prep and serving. Our hosts were great, and we will definitely plan to reserve this gem again in the future!

Fabulous location for the Half Ironman!
The casita is a great spot to stay for proximity to the wharf, boardwalk and much more. The neighborhood is quiet, quaint and very walkable. There is an enclosed children’s park a couple blocks away that was perfect for our 2 year old granddaughter. Jill is exceptional for response time to inquiries. There were a couple of minor issues but they were not deal breakers. We would definitely stay here again if our son does another SC Half Ironman!

If you’re a surfer this place is phenomenal. Walking distance to the lane or cowells plus an outdoor shower and hot tub to soak in after. The street is very quiet and close to everything. It was great!

Long weekend
My wife and I and our adult daughter and her husband came to Santa Cruz to watch our son do a triathlon. We traveled from CT and arrived very late, but Jill had given us detailed directions and made it so easy for us. The little house is exactly as advertised - spotlessly clean with all conveniences, and in a great location. We highly recommend staying here!

I wanted to take my friend somewhere for her birthday that was beautiful and fun! Santa Cruz seemed like the perfect place and Jill’s house was the perfect home. We loved that we could walk to the boardwalk and walk downtown. The casita with the hot tub and beautiful area outside just added to the pleasure. The house is about two blocks from Westcliff drive so park your car and enjoy the coast.

Great location and wonderful stay
The location one block from the ocean and an easy walk from surfing, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk make this great vacation rental. The property includes a BBQ and a hot tub. A well-equipped kitchen makes this property great for cooks. In-home wi-fi, Cable TV, and a telephone keeps you informed and in-touch. The only sound you hear at night is the barking of seals.

Enjoyable stay, great location, comfortable home
I honestly almost bypassed this rental when I saw it was only 800 SF. We opted to stay because of location and proximity to where we needed to be throughout our three night stay. I am so glad I did not go with my first thought because I would have missed out on a gem!! It was perfect for the two adults that stayed here, very well laid out and the beds were so comfortable! This is an awesome location to get down to the wharf for beach activities and dining. We really enjoyed the stay and if we find ourselves back in Santa Cruz, would definitely stay here again!
