I have only positive things to say about this property and the host, Nicole. The house is beautiful, the beds are so, so, SO comfortable, & the pool was fun! Nicole was very responsive and the check out expectations were more than reasonable. Not to mention it really is less than 10 min away from Main St. Book it and enjoy!
We returned to Fredericksburg for my mother 80th birthday celebration. My family and friends visited my mother all weekend long. Everyone commented on the house and the beautiful landscape. We had a great time.
The house was so cute, I actually don't think the photos do it justice. It was so nice and spacious. They even had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived which I thought was sweet. It is a little further from downtown, but not that far. It was nice and quiet on the property, you can even see two horses out the kitchen window. We had a great experience and would recommend this house.
friends and I went on vacation here and couldn’t enjoy it more. The houses were everything they are advertised and the pool house was great but there is not enough said about the backyard. The backyard at night is nestled between the three buildings for privacy and when the lights in the beautiful trees light up it will set a mood like no other. When looking for a nice quiet place to relax and visit with family and friends this is the place you’ll want to be.
This beautiful property is perfect for a family weekend. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to any of our requests. I highly recommend this property.

Friends Get Away
Very nice and great location. We took a walk every morning and evening to enjoy the deer.
We were here for a family wedding and this house was excellent for our family with plenty of room and the property was excellent. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the ping pong and games in the garage. The little ones had plenty of room to explore in the backyard as well. The amenities were great and the welcome bottle of wine was a wonderful touch. Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful place to stay during our time in Fredericksburg. We will most definitely be back!
There's simply not enough good things to say about my experience with this property and our host. Everything was exactly as advertised and exceeded every expectation that my friends and I had. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. The communication between the host and myself was prompt and easy. The convenience of the location to shops and wineries was optimal. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone. Cheers!
We had 3 families. 3 moms, 1 dad and 1 grandmother. 3 boys about 14 yrs old and 3 girls 12 yrs old. The couple stayed on the cottage, the single mom had a king size bed to herself. The grandmother and her adult daughter stayed in the Master Bedroom upstairs (it had a bathroom.)
The 3 girls shared a king bed, the 3 boys stayed in the 2 adjoining rooms.
There was plenty of space in the kitchens for us to cook and visit, the dining room table fit all 11 of us, the sitting room was nice to play games in. The kids LOVED the indoor pool!! They enjoyed the doze ball and ping pong in the garage the first night, but after being outside all day they preferred the pool.
We took nightly walks around the neighborhood road and was always excited to see so many deer!
This place was lovely! I highly recommend it and hope to come again.
This house was very Nice and clean and safe neighborhood, close to town and stores, very nice bedrooms even the room with the murphy bed was nice , but I would suggest heating the pool a little, the pool is closed in and gets no sun and the water stays ice colds but the pool was very nice, very sweet people that own this house very easy to get a hold of if needed, answered back for any Questions about anything.
This is a wonderful location. Very close to town with a country feel. The cottage had a few bath tub issues that the owner was not aware of. I am certain she will get it fixed promptly. Be aware that the bedroom in the study is not private. You walk through it to the master downstairs. Overall we had a great time and hope to return next year.
Our family group of 10 stayed here and we had a blast. House was even better than advertised. Plenty of room for all of us without feeling cramped. Close to downtown and many many wineries. Would gladly stay here again!
Wow. Just wow. Our families took an inaugural Christmas vacation to Fredericksburg and found this house, 3 miles out of town, which was absolutely perfect in every way. It was the perfect set up, beautifully decorated for Christmas, and the owners were a charm to deal with.

Misleading Property Discription
This property is listed as a 6 bedroom. It really needs to be updated to 5. The 6th is a study that doesn't have a door or a closet. It has a murphy bed. You have to walk thru this bedroom to get to another bedroom. So for 6 couples travelling together this is not ideal as it offers no privacy. We would never have booked this property if we had known. This is equivalent to booking a home with a loft "bedroom" but maybe worse because it's right off the kitchen.
On another note, the listing says this house is "well stocked". I agree it was gorgeously decorated for Christmas and had many kitchen utensils but we found ourselves without olive oil or a can opener which are kitchen basics in my oppinion.
On check in 2 couples found hair on their bedroom pillows.
So while this property has an awesome pool, gorgeous back yard, and is close to everything I do not plan to return.
Had a wonderful stay at this lovely and comfortable home! Our granddaughter had a blast in the pool and watching the cows from the backyard. Perfect place for kids and adults!
This is our 2nd time staying here. Great place for the kids to run and have adventures. And great kitchen to cook thanksgiving dinner in! Thank you again for the memories!
Plenty of room for the kids to play outside. Internet was good, we didn’t have any trouble getting some work done online. Plenty of Ubers available to take us downtown.
Awesome house with comfortable accommodations for 9 adults! Pool was an added bonus! Plenty of room for parking. Nice quiet neighborhood very close to downtown Fredricksburg.
Where do I even begin?! From the moment I booked the venue (about 3 months in advance), Nicole was absolutely phenomenal in communicating. I had a number of questions that would randomly pop up as we approached the date, and she always responded timely and with great energy. She was so helpful and really just made the process that much better. She was able to accommodate an earlier than usual check-in time, letting me know the day of that we could get in early. We knew there was a chance we couldn't so planned for both, but once we got the green light, it made our efforts go super smooth as we were allowed to get in ahead of the others to decorate and set up for the weekend's bachelorette fun. The house was everything I could have imagined and so much more! The pictures do as much justice as they can, but I swear the in-person feeling when you drive up is beyond what the pictures could portray. (I could still be on the "high" of it all, but myself and a number of my guests were already talking about how we could plan family vacays there.) Nicole and her hubby Rene were so sweet and thoughtful to leave a bottle of wine for me and my guests with a congratulatory note making the moment even more special. The house was in tip-top shape, the rooms super spacious and inviting. The fact that they have three rooms with king beds (and still enough room to maneuver in each) is awesome. All of my guests were super comfy (we had 13 adults). The cottage in the back isn't too far from the house so the guests that stayed out there didn't feel detached at all. (We used the *pillow top* air mattress in the cottage living room.) We spent some time in the pool which was nice being indoors. It does come with a heater and requires a few hours to heat up (and an additional cost per day), so next time we'll plan a little better to get the full effects of the heated pool (we forgot to turn it on before wine tour). We never made it into the garage, but there was a ping pong table, corn hole (which was awesome to see because we left ours) and another table game. I wish we had more time there because that was definitely another spot we could have kicked back and had fun (Next time for sure!). Overall, I give Nicole and Rene's house a 10 out of 5 - I have told anyone who would listen about their listing in Fredericksburg and truly hope I can return soon with my family. Thank you so much to the Gallegos' for helping to make my bachelorette weekend absolutely unforgettable!!
