The Marriott Newport Coast is a fractional ownership program with inventory managed in a similar way to its hotels. The owners have a right to a size unit rather than a specific unit and, as such, all the villas share the same basic decor, floor plan and amenities, however, if you do have a floor level or building preference the owner may make a request with the Marriott on your behalf. Guests will have full resort access.

With regards to the view: about 50% percent of the villas overlook a nature preserve and golf course - the other half feature views of the Ocean off in the distance (not direct Oceanfront resort). A request can be placed for the distant Ocean view, but cannot be guaranteed.

This two-bedroom, two-bath fully furnished villa, features a fully equipped kitchen, living/dining room area, and in-unit washer/dryer. Marriott’s Newport Coast offers something for everyone: a kid’s camp and daily activities for the younger ones, an incredible pool, and a beach area for teenagers and adults to relax and socialize.

The resort is within easy walking distance of one of the best beaches in Southern California. You will find dozens of great golf courses and local hiking trails, and you are just 5 minutes to Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza offer great dining and shopping options. Ten minutes from a world-renowned yacht basin where you can enjoy a romantic cruise or go deep-sea fishing. The family can enjoy Disneyland and Knott’s Berry farm a close 20 minutes away, while Los Angeles, Venice Beach, Westwood, Getty Museum, and Hollywood can be reached in under an hour. 1 hour to Universal Studios, 1 and half hours to San Diego, San Diego Zoo, Animal Kingdom and Sea World. Explore The Temecula wine country within 1 and a half hours of the resort. Excellent Concierge service is provided at the resort to handle all your questions and provide wonderful suggestions.

The villa is spacious, comfortably elegant, and fully equipped. The open-plan kitchen/dining/living room is perfect for family meals and relaxing at the end of the day. The well-equipped high-end kitchen boasts granite countertops & stainless appliances. Retreat to the master suite where you’ll find a king-sized bed, luxurious garden tub, double sinks, and a separate shower. There are separate living and sleeping areas, which provide ample space for your whole family or group. All the creature comforts of home including Plasma TV and Marriott's sumptuous "Halo" beds. Includes queen-sized convertible sofas.

Beautiful family friendly resort

Spacious condo perfect size for a family of 4 with nice kitchen. Resort had many family friendly ammentities including heated pools, hot tubs, fire pits, pool-side dining, parks, activities. Nice location to explore nearby Laguna Beach, Corona del Mar, Newport Beach. And fairly close to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm etc.

Perfect family vacation spot!

This is our 3rd time staying at this resort. It’s always well-kept and clean with great amenities and pool areas. Recently it has been renovated so it felt new inside too. You can’t beat Newport Coast!

Love Newport Beach

Excellent facility, great setup. It was a beautiful property. Just a note, there's no housekeeping (like most hotels nowadays, they never brought back after COVID) but you can get new supplies exchange towels. Washer/ dryer in room was key for packing. The only issue I had w/ the Marriott is that check in was supposed to be by 4pm and our room wasn't ready. Then they said it was ready but housekeeping had just started. Bit of inconvenience but otherwise the room, trip, location was superb. Will def be back!! Thank you!

Marriott Newport Coast Villas

We were very pleased to be placed in a newly renovated building on the property. Each of our pre-arrival requests were met for an ocean view, high floor, and quiet area. The property was immaculate and full of activities and amenities for adults and kids. My mom loved attending the yoga classes each morning, the kids loved the pools and recreation areas, and our family enjoyed the accessibility to the beautiful Crystal Cove State Park. The location of the property gave us easy access to Disneyland, the ferry to Catalina Island, Laguna Beach, and Newport Beach. We found the property to be better than expected. The rooms were well appointed, the beds and sofa beds were very comfortable, and floor plan was very spacious for 5 of us. I would highly recommend this property!

Perfect family getaway

Perfect location for OC family vacation. 2 adults and 3 kids (all kids got their own bed). Loved going to Crystal Cove beach… wish the shuttle ran every 30 minutes instead of every hour. Also, our room was not ready at 4pm on check-in which was super annoying considering we arrived at 11:30am from our flight. This resort should add another main pool … never any seats for pool in afternoon. Those are minor issues… overall would 100% stay here again.

Newport Coast Villas are a fantastic vacation spot especially for family gatherings! Lots of activities and things for kids as well as adults. Good restaurants nearby and the Marriott shuttle is such a nice convenience. Highly recommended!

Loved the location, convenient. Plumbing (Showerheads iffy and one toilet kept running. Nice having a washer/dryer but the washer needs maintenance, does not drain water properly. The dishwasher also had water draining issues. Fast efficient service on towel change outs in our room. One time at pool they were out of pool towels and we were not able to change out our wet towels until noon the next day. Ice maker across from room was great

What an amazing resort. Property manager was great, and resort lived up to expectations. Highlights for our 7 year old were the pools and resort activities. He is already requesting we come back. Fantastic location for beach, shopping and a short drive to Disney.

Great location. Great resort

We had a great time. All of the villas at this resort are exactly the same. King bed in 2 room and 1 queen/sofa bed in the other room. I would choose a room closer to the pool/hot tub next time instead of a golf Course view. Our view was mostly blocked by the trees, so a more convenient location would have been better. The shuttle service was really nice to the local beach and to Laguna beach. We loved Laguna beach - high end fun vibe area.

The perfect home away from home

Having lived in Southern California for a while we knew Newport Coast would be a perfect area to set up home base for our vacation. The villa was in pristine condition. It was very clean, spacious, light, and had the most comfortable sleeper sofas we have every experienced! The grounds were incredibly well taken care of and we enjoyed the basketball court, putting greens, multiple pools and hot tubs. We loved everything about our rental and had exceptional service from the Marriott for even the smallest of requests. We couldn't recommend this property and rental group more!

Love this place

This is an awesome property. It is a Marriott vacation club property and has all the associated amenities. Unfortunately most were closed for COVID but we were so happy to be anywhere it really didn’t matter. We had a beautiful villa on the 4th floor corner close to reception. Would come back on a heartbeat.

Amazing family vacation!

From beginning to end, our process of booking/staying at the property was amazing. Donald does such an amazing job of communicating all of the details and even put in a request for an ocean view room (which resulted in the most gorgeous panoramic views of the hillside and ocean - I mean WOW). The property is so beautiful, clean, and Covid-safe, and the location cannot be beat. It's only a block from Highway 1, which meant we were able to try a fun new coffee shop in Corona del Mar every single day in just a 5 minute drive. Crystal Cove beach is absolutely gorgeous and easily walkable (or you can take the shuttle or park in the Los Trancos lot). We will absolutely stay again and recommend David's listings!
