This beachfront property sits on over 1/3 acre on Hanalei Bay’s famous Pine Trees Park, which is a surfer’s favorite in the winter and a calm bay for swimming-paddling in the summer. The single-level family friendly compound consists of a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, and a charming cottage. Visit Hanalei Pier, Ching Young Village, and more! The ideal spot for family and friends, you will love this home away from home on Kauai.

The covered lanai with its tranquil tropical surroundings is where you'll unwind... sipping your morning coffee, reading a book on the pune'e, or laughing with friends over the day's excursions. Relax while gazing at beautiful Hanalei Bay to the north and majestic Namolokama Mountain and cascading waterfalls to the south.

For decades, generations have returned to Nani Nani Hale. Some of their treasured traditions include checking out Waioli Stream, riding bikes to Hanalei Pier, seeing colorful rainbows, eating mountains of shaved ice, riding the summer swells, strolling at Secrets, snorkeling Ke’e and Tunnels (Makua), having board and card game tournaments, anniversary, birthday and engagement celebrations, preparing excellent ahi dinners, picking star fruit and mandarins, evening beach fires and s'mores, watching the dolphins, walking the beach, and swimming the Bay.

Fully furnished throughout, this spacious home includes a full kitchen complete with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. The curtains were stained and dirty-looking. Unfortunate, because that was special occasion for the couple staying there.

The house itself had fairly lower grade amenities for the price point (ex: toaster didn’t work, washer/dryer are all rusty, place hasn’t been deep cleaned under beds and other areas where you could see noticeable build up).Overall, the location and management were excellent. Just not the usual high quality cleanliness and items provided for that high of a nightly rate is all. But we were there to be feet fromThe amazing beach so it was not a huge deal to us in the grand scheme of things.

Easy to get into town and get to each river on either side of bay. Loved the bicycles provided and all the beach toys, like boogie boards. No A/C, but the location and waterfall views make up for it. Ocean is farther than it looks in pictures, but home is beach front, as just a grass park area between you and the sand. Enjoyed feeding the birds and paddle-boarding the bay and rivers. Garden is lush with awapuhi, plumeria and star fruit.

Great location and steps to the sand.I can't say enough about Oceanfront Realty International they went above and beyond to accommodate us with any issue we had. This property is well stocked with anything we needed, clean and well maintained. Loved having the bikes and all the beach stuff. We did go on a great Holo holo boat charter that was on other side of island, which with road closure to Hanalei made it a bit challenging but we love Hanalei so we tried to stay put most of the time. This is a great property for a family vacation.

A great house on Hanalei Bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in several homes on Hanalei Bay and this one did not disappoint. The home, itself, is excellent, with a great porch, lawn and view of the ocean. We love having a game table, too. The kitchen and bathrooms are great, and the back cottage is spacious, offering extended families (like ours) to configure sleeping arrangements that work for everybody.The only downside to this home is that the bedrooms in the main house are on the road that leads to the beach. It is not a busy road, by any means, but on a Saturday night that we were there, a group arrived in the dark and played loud music for several hours. If you are a light sleeper and plan to be there over the weekend, this may impact you. There also is no cubby or shelving in one of the showers. Totally unimportant, but of note.

The house had a lot of character and the studio cabin was perfect for napping young grandkids. Landscaping was beautiful and the large trees in the park made for lots of shade. Close access to the beach was a plus making travel to other beaches unnecessary. We are booking again next year. Make sure the gas does not run out the last night.

Beautiful Location

Our extended family had a wonderful time. The location is perfect -- just steps away from the beach. Sitting on the lanai you can see the beach, the ocean, and the green, waterfall-festooned mountains. There are beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella available along with fins, a cooler and more to make beach play fun. Guest should be prepared for very warm bedrooms at night. I would suggest that the management supply stronger fans. Other than that, everything was amazing. We loved it.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay here, just a bike ride to town. Great beach access, just steps away. Everything you need in the house and very clean. My only complaint was that the house is so cute, but it was screaming for a facelift. Seemed a bit sad with the dated cabinets, hardware and furniture. Being a design lover, I kept imagining how a little reno would make it even more awesome! It was really nice have boogie boards and beach chairs to use! And the bikes were a great touch! Heads up if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise you are right next to a popular beach parking lot and the lifeguard station, so you get some car noise and lifeguards on megaphone, but the landscaping hides any view of that. Very private feeling. Mahalo

Location...location...

This house was unanimously the best part of our trip to Kauai. Staying right on Hanalei Bay was delightful, and the house has an authentically Hawaiian feel to it. The good: Strolls to the beach with a cup of coffee in the morning, dinners on the most excellent patio while watching the sun set over the water, strolls on the beach at night. No hassle to play on the beach all day. The patio has two picture-postcard views: ocean to one side, mountains to the other. House and cottage were spacious and clean, with very soft towels. The large beds were very comfortable (twin beds were like rocks though). Sweet gecko chirps everywhere. The outdoor shower was fabulous...we used it a lot!!! Property management was super responsive and friendly. The bad (but not dealbreakers): No A/C so it was hot inside the house during the day; it cooled off at night though. Loads of mosquitoes hampered most nighttime activities on the patio. Kitchen needs new sauté pans and knives, so bring your own if you like to cook. Noise and traffic on the adjacent beach access parking was annoying (but not as bad as I'd thought: the occasional extended late-night conversations between beachgoers standing right outside the windows was the worst of it). We would definitely stay here again, but only after the area recovers a bit more from the floods last spring. Kuhio Highway is still closed to all but local and emergency traffic...sadly, there was no driving the lovely road to Ke'e beach. The flooding also resulted in a dearth of fresh local fish...our favorite fish market (the Dolphin in Hanalei) is closed indefinitely, and the one in Kilauea has only a tiny selection.

Our busy family took the time to reconnect. We remembered how much fun we have together!

Everyone had the best time! We cooked together, laughed, played games, had long leisurely breakfasts and relaxed. The runners in the group ran in paradise, some of the gang surfed. We all enjoyed the primo location. Thank you for providing the beach stuff! Everyone arrived with laptops, earbuds... totally wired for work. When it was time to head home, everyone had achieved the ‘Aloha’ state of mind!

No better location!

If you're looking for the best location in Hanalei Bay, this is it! The perfect spot for our 30th wedding anniversary with our entire family. The kids took the main house while my wife and I settled into the guest house, which was very cozy. We loved our stay and can't wait to return. My lone suggestion to the owners would be to replace the old bikes.
