This property is half a block from the Kimberley Platzl. It is within walking distance to restaurants, stores and pubs. The entrance to the new 28k paved bike path connecting Kimberley to Cranbrook, the swimming pool and arena are all just blocks from the house. The ski hill, Nordic trails and the Kimberley Nature park are all within a 5 minute drive.
The house is 1700 sq ft of living space with a covered carport. It has been fully renovated including granite countertops and hardwood floors. There is a beautiful deck out front that over looks Mark Creek; and a 2nd large deck (24ft by 30ft) which is great for a BBQ or entertaining.
There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main floor. The walkout basement has an entertainment area, a bathroom and a bunk room with 2 queen beds and 2 XL twin beds.
Lots of room for golf clubs, skis etc.

Excellent location right in the heart of Kimberley. Everything at your doorstep. Very high end finishes in the house. Fully equipped. Very enjoyable stay and we hope to visit again.
Lovely house well set up for guests, clean & comfortable.
We especially enjoyed sitting on the back deck, with large eaves, so we could sit out there in the rain overlooking the babbling Mark Creek. There is even a larger deck on the other side of the house, complete with furniture, that also provided cover for the cars.
Great location as the Platzl is a short stroll away, with great restaurants.
This place is located just a block from Fernies town square so was very convenient to walk to get coffee or to our dinner reservation. The place was beautiful and clean. Just like in the pictures. Very spacious with beds for everyone. With no AC it was warm when we first got there but then we had windows open overnight which helped cool it down. Overall a great stay.
A good sized group of friends and I enjoyed this properly immensely during our golf trip to Kimberley this Canada Day Long Weekend. We used all of the amenities that this place had to offer inside and out. The property was clean and well equipped. There's an issue with the fridge ice maker and water supply- it wouldn't produce ice and it would take a solid 3 minutes to fill a regular water bottle. The sink had a pretty rancid/putrid smell upon arrival but the available cleaning supplies allowed us to take care of that. Also, if you want to boil a pot of water with the large burner on the range then don't turn it right up to high. Turn it to 8. There must be an issue with the control board for that particular burner. There was a small hiccup with the check-in upon our arrival (the door code was not set correctly). However, a quick call to the host and we were back on track and into the condo within 3 minutes. The last concern was that the property description mentioned there is a blender provided. There was not a blender to be found anywhere in the condo. We actually went and bought one as we all start our mornings with a smoothie. These are all really small details and did not detract from the overall experience of our stay. We give Brian and this property a solid 5 stars. I hope this review helps the host to make a few minor adjustments for the convenience of future guests. We will be happy to stay here again in the future.
Property was exceptionally clean, well cared for, and lots of thoughtful touches for visitors. Really appreciated extras like covered parking (helpful in winter!), the nice big boot room for gear, and the great access to the Platzel and other restaurants / shops which were less than 5 minutes walk, and only 5 mins drive to Kimberly Alpine Resort. Lower level bunk room and rec room were a big hit with the teens!
Overall - highly recommended and worthy of 5 stars. Many thanks to Brian for a great experience.
This property is perfect for a mid to large size group. Large kitchen. 2 massive decks to enjoy the outdoors. Right in the heart of Kimberley near restaurants, distilleries and breweries. House has everything you need. Would definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is well designed and furnished and has excellent outdoor spaces front and back. Perfect rental for our 2 families, in close proximity to the Restaurants and mountain bike trails. We’d stay here again!

We are in love with this property! As two families with kids (age range 10 to 13) we rented this place with plans to hike and bike around Kimberley. The heat wave changed our activity plans though to evening lake trips and white water rafting…no complaints! Days before our arrival with the forecast showing high 30’s we were nervous about the house getting uncomfortably hot…however we were pleasantly surprised with the cool basement (where the kids hung out) and the wind tunnel we could create in the evenings with the windows and doors opened on the main level. We brought our own fan which was helpful as well. Backing onto the creek was amazing (sounds heavenly) and was much fun for the kids and some of us adults to cool off! The house was well equipped in the kitchen with basic appliances and dishware included. Bring your own sharp knives if that is something important to you. The two decks are delightful and we spent mornings and nights dining and relaxing on them! The beds were comfy and all of us slept well - the kids loved the bunks! The house offers a private feel and we felt the neighborhood was safe. The location is close to walk to the platzl and there was a lovely farmers market there one evening! The only issue was a bit of an ant infestation - however Brian, the owner, was helpful in trying to deal with the problem. We love the Kimberley area and hope to visit again to explore all the trail systems in Fall and/or Winter!
This is an amazing property! We have travelled extensively and stayed in various places around the world. This is truly one of our favourite properties. I am a bit of a clean-freak and this place is spotless! Cannot wait to stay again in the summer when the creek is flowing. We will be back. Thank you Brian for being a great host and so accommodating!
Creekside was very clean and worked awesome for our needs. We enjoyed the downtown location and the creek in the front was beautiful and peaceful. Absolutely no problems would definitely stay here again.
The place is furnished very well - comfortable furniture on both decks really added to the enjoyment of the holiday as did the old style video game machine :)!
