The Casita is a well appointed, clean and quiet. Has a nice fenced yard which was nice for my dog. About 25 mins from downtown Santa Fe. Not a lot of amenities near by.however. I did enjoy my stay it was a
We were so grateful for Marcella and Robbie's casita, which served us as a great home base as we settled into our rental house nearby. Everything was comfortable and convenient. Thanks so much!
This was a wonderful place to visit with our daughter and granddaughters. They luve about 15 minutes away. We had so much fun, exchanging Christmas presents and celebrating New Year's Eve with them.
We rented the casita for my dad while he was visiting from out of town. The casita was very clean and had everything we needed for my dad's stay in Galisteo. We would be very happy to rent again when we have family visiting.
This was the best, most affordable place we’ve rented in the Cerrillos/Galisteo area. Our host was very responsive and the casita had everything we needed. I went to a conference in Santa Fe and it was great to come home to after a busy day. We loved sitting outside in the private patio in the early morning and evening. Will definitely be returning!
Hand down the best vacation rental ever. So many extras, great communication, beautiful art, bountiful spaces, all in a great location. Easy day travels to Santa Fe, Ojo Caliente, Sandia Mt., and more! We also rented the Casita for our group of seven!
Our stay at Casita de Los Abuelos was great! The house was cute and clean and roomier than we expected. The outside patio was nice for relaxing and enjoying meals outside. The yard is fenced in, which was great for our pups! The hosts made the whole process easy and were very kind.
Adorable casita! We rented the adjacent property, as well. Plenty of room. Exceptionally clean. The kitchen was fully stocked. Comfortable bed and the living room pullout fit our 6’3” teenager.
Photos don't do this property justice. It's so much larger and prettier than it looks online. Very friendly and helpful management, and extremely accomodating. Would definitely recommend.
This quiet home truly brought our family together in ways that we didn't even anticipate! We rented both this amazing property and the main house which gave us so many options for our family to spread out no one wanted to leave! This property is a fully contained studio, with living room, well-stocked kitchen (even had snacks waiting for us), washer/dryer, bathroom and bedroom!! There is a fence and gate between the two for privacy and this would be perfect on its own! Both properties are one story which suited our family well and is accessible to those in wheelchairs or trouble climbing stairs.
Bobbie, Marcella and Jackie are phenomenal hosts who think of everything so you don't have to! Tourism brochures and magazines as well as their informative binder of local information leave you with no doubts of how you can spend your time. Board games, books and outdoor areas abound and appeal to all ages. Peace, connection, and true NM beauty is what this amazing place delivers!
Thank you for sharing your amazing home and letting us make it ours for a while!
The property is very clean, a nice size, and well laid out. It is a 1/2 hour to Santa Fe. So if you are looking for a close to Santa Fe property, you will likely be frustrated by the location. Otherwise, a very cozy place to stay with a very nice and communicative host. 🙂
Beautiful property with the owners' creative and artistic touches throughout. Communication/information left us well informed of the studio, contact information, and areas around Galisteo and Santa Fe. The studio was well equipped for all your needs. Snacks/cereals/drinks/coffee were readily available and welcomed with a late arrival. The studio was very clean and in pristine condition.
House was perfect as always!! The hosts are so kind and attentive. They were able to give us a partial refund as there was a medical emergency in our family. We will definitely be back time and time again!
The casita was a wonderful place for my weekend stay. Everything was comfortable and well-appointed. The hosts were very responsive. We're already looking forward to staying again.
We have rented this adorable place down the hill from us numerous time for friends and family. There are always expressions of joy on entering! A place to relax in safety. A place to heal. Beautiful walks through quiet historic village. Owners and village are both dog friendly. Excellent choice for get away!
This was a last minute snowboarding trip to Taos.
Decided to visit Sante Fe for some GREAT NM chilies dishes.. this rental worked out GREAT!! Very clean, they thought of everything.. Everything worked!!! We would definately stay there again
A first-rate stay. A thoughtfully appointed and peaceful casita in the heart of Galisteo. Our 90-year-old parents couldn't have been happier with their accommodations. Both informed us that they "slept in." And then were able to have fresh cups of coffee before we were even up. Would recommend this to anyone needing a home away from home.
Love this place!! Definitely will stay again! Short 30 minute commute to Santa fe and hour to albequerqe. Brought our dog too! Was a true home away from home.
