About this property

This third floor 1 bedroom 1 ½ bathroom condominium is located on the Gulf side of our property. Because of its central location on our property, it is a short walk to our white sandy beach, the tennis courts, pool and charcoal barbecues. It is also a very short stroll to the Bay Side part of our property which has a hot tub and a second pool. To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, this unit sleeps a maximum of four people. The comfortably decorated bedroom is furnished with two queen sizes bed with a 32" flat screen TV, and there is a sofa bed in the living room with a large 42" flat screen TV wit HD TV service. The bathroom has a tub combo, while the half bath is equipped with a sink and toilet. The spacious, open kitchen plan is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster and a coffee maker. The condo is completely tiled throughout. There is also a comfortably furnished outdoor patio which is screened-in so that you may enjoy our warm tropical breezes with your friends and family.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit we stayed in was outdated and the furniture and appliances were not very clean. The blinds were broken when we arrived and it took a couple of day for maintenance to come repair. We used a blanket to cover the window. The blanket we used looked like an old dirty blanket that should have been discarded years ago. I actually bought two new blankets and a pillow so we didn’t have to use what was there. The toilet in one of the bathrooms constantly ran and you would have to take off the lid and manually adjust the flap every time you used it. The property itself and the pools were well maintained. I was in several other units that were clean and updated. Would not recommend the unit we stayed in.

Reviewer Comments: This unit was clean but had a strong, musty odor when we first arrived; however, keeping the windows & doors opened throughout our stay eliminated the issue. Enjoyed the screened lanai for morning coffee. Such a lovely breeze that we had no need for A/C. Beds were comfy and the shower was strong. Could have used another nightstand/lamp & a clock/radio in the bedroom. Large appliances could be improved a bit, and some microwave ware & beach chairs would have been helpful (chaises on the beach were not always available). Palm Bay Club felt safe, grounds were tidy with beautiful palms and landscaping; staff, maintenance & security were friendly, helpful & professional. Had an issue with the plumbing and it was handled immediately. Pool was heated and heavenly -- large enough for laps. Tennis courts were usually available, although some guests overlooked reserving a slot. Fitness Ctr was well-equipped. Only thing missing was a playground -- & a shower near the pool (if there is one, we couldn't find it). Suggest posting speed limit signs along the drive leading to the beach. Siesta Key is easy to walk with a nice variety of restaurants in the Village -- & the free trolley was a great bonus. Without a doubt, it's the most beautiful beach we've ever visited -- but also the most crowded. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Palm Bay, never ran out of things to do and slept like babies at night! The week was over too soon.

Beautiful area

We loved Siesta Key and the property was very nice. However, the first condo appeared very clean but, we woke up the second morning and discovered we had roaches in the kitchen area, when we called the office to report the issue they were quick to move us out and put us in a different condo that was very clean and nice, we had no issues there. I think the roach issue is due to the garbage shoot being right beside the condo door. The rest of our stay was perfect.

Also not terribly happy with the fact that we had to put our tent so far back from the water. Guest parking continues to be a problem. Front desk staff is awesome! Otherwise a nice stay.

Great 1st Family Trip to Siesta Keys

Hidden Gem!

This resort is so beautiful and picturesque. It was a quick walk to the beach and pool. The condo we stayed in was very nice. Having beach chairs available on the beach was a super convenient. Would highly recommend coming back!

Beach is the best

Lots of bug problems and machine beep beep sounds.

The worst part of this resort was ants problems. We couldn't put any food even some water on the any tables. Cleanliness was pretty bad too. The big thing like organizing was okay but some hairs I could see in the bathroom and The bathroom in the bedroom side kinda stinky too. I had to keep shutting the door because of the smell. Also, I 'm not sure they washed the comforters inside the closet. There were two extra comforters and I used it at the first night, and then my back, arms and legs started itchy so much..... I didn't smell any detergent of the comforters. :( And the bottom was lots of dust or sands? I don't know what it is. We had to wear sandals all the time. Location was good, very close to the beach. We kinda hated the beep beep sound something electrical machine from the closet, It rang every few minutes even in the middle of the night. :(
