The Guest Barn on Rennie

A luxuriously finished barn-style guest house. It is located on our 4 acre property in a popular rural neighbourhood near ocean, biking, fishing, golfing and skiing. It has main floor living with master bedroom, bath, kitchen, dining area and a spiral staircase leading to a loft with living and sleeping for 4 persons.
We live on the property and are available for questions. We can meet you when you arrive. If you would like local advice and suggestions we have a wealth of knowledge of the area.

Amazing Hospitaity

Clean, spacious & even better than the pictures! The outside space is laid out so well, beds are super comfy & the kitchen has anything you would need-which is so nice for doing meals in. Lots of towels & a great space for our family of 4. If you have a vehicle to get around in, we’d ABSOLUTELY recommend this place-being in an acreage setting was great!

Great Barn Stay

Exceptional home on a beautiful piece of property. So well appointed and comfortable. Beautiful high ceilings, sunny patio and a cozy fireplace. Laundry!! Hope to stay there again.

The Barn has all the modern amenities. Owners have thought of everything and keep it immaculate. Location is perfect for chilling, bike riding and close enough to town and beaches to make for memorable stay

Calm retreat

Fantastic place! Loved cooking in the well equipped and spacious kitchen. The bath with jetted tub and spa shower was delightful. Good spot to explore beaches and hiking from. Hosts were lovely and very responsive. Kids loved getting to play outside and meet the dogs (puppy!). We could've stayed far longer and would love to return some time.

Cozy cabin close to skiing

Best holiday ever.

Booking was very easy and the location of the property was easy to find. The instructions sent to me prior to arrival made checking in a breeze. Once inside the Owners instructions regarding TV, wifi were simple and only took about 30 minutes to have everything figured out. Fantastic stay.

This place is as nice as it's listing shows it. Perfect setting, beautiful accommodations.

Loved the Barn for my wife and my two week stay. Owners were great hosts, everything one needs was carefully provided. This location is ideal for exploring the Comox/Courtenay, Mount Washington and Campbell River regions.

Mid-island get-away

Beautifully situated, designed and equipped, the Barn at Rennie exceeded all our expectations. From this relaxing oasis we enjoyed beach walks, forest trails and excursions into Courtenay/Comox and Campbell River. Next time we may do something similar, or perhaps take more food and just stay away from all urban areas for a different sort of experience!

Perfect Retreat

Wonderful Stay at Rennie's Barn

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is beautiful: it has everything - a quiet setting, comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, fabulous soaker tub ... and it's a good location for exploring the parks, beaches, craft breweries in the Comox Valley. We'll be back!

Family Ski trip

We loved our stay at the Barn and we will definitely book again. Everything from check in to check out was easy and the hosts provided a warm welcome. The house offered everything and more than what you would need. It was in proximity to Mt. Washington and other areas we visited. On our last day we even got snowed in during the a snow storm and Ed was more than accommodating to help us get out to the main road. What a lovely place. C.

Fantastic stay at The Barn!

I would highly recommend staying here. Trina was very responsive and helpful. The barn is tastefully decorated and very spacious and has everything you could need in a stay. The shower and jetted tub were amazing. The barn is located in a quiet rural setting so is very peaceful. We stayed in the fall and there were many local farms offering great produce and the beach is only a short drive away.

A great place to stay near Courtenay

A lovely, tastefully decorated place with lots of thoughtful details. We stayed here 4 nights in mid-December and did some great summit hikes up Mt Becher and Crest Mtn. The residence is super clean, kitchen stocked with pantry basics with ice in the fridge. It was a pleasure to return to such a comfortable and cozy place every day! Check-in was seamless and communication with owners was great. Would absolutely recommend and will stay here again. - B&Y.
