Great place!

This house is absolutely beautiful, and super well set up. My husband and I took our four kids (ages 9, 7, 5, and 4) and we spent a week there enjoying the views, walking the neighborhood and surrounding trails, and playing board games. Highly recommend!

Excellent home and host!

We had a fantastic stay! Michelle was lovely and prompt with communication, and the house was clean and well-stocked with all the kitchen necessities and bedding/towels a group could need. Beds were comfy and bedrooms spacious, as were the common spaces. We loved the decks, hot tub, and views!! Would stay here again 100%!

Lovely, spacious, and well appointed.

Brought the kids and friends for a winter getaway. Lots of room inside and out. Nice to have a kitchen that's well equipped, beyond just the minimum expected. Bedrooms have extra room and the open kitchen to dining to living room areas make for a wonderful group space. We stayed during a time of unusually cold weather (below zero Fahrenheit), stay warm and had no issues in the cold.

Relaxing Retreat

We had a wonderful week in the mountains. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing trip and this is exactly what we had. The house was well represented in the photos. All necessary details were provided ahead of arrival and additional details were available in a binder inside. Only two small things that I wished had been different - there is no central air, but the fans available around the house kept us cool enough and we couldn't hear the river from the patio as we hoped. We could see it so that was nice. We would stay in this house again without hesitation and look forward to another trip to the PNW.

Perfect get away…

We loved our stay. The cabin has an open floor concept, so plenty of room to move around with friends and family. We loved the deck and the views. Town was about 35 minutes away, which made for a quiet and cozy stay. We took several trips into town, the roads we well groomed and even my mom (who panics in the snow) felt comfortable driving. We had plenty of room to cook, my Italian family loves a good kitchen. The host Michelle was exceptional, her communication was top notch. Such a homey cabin to get away from the city and just relax. I would highly recommend, which I have already don’t to a few friends and family. Thank you !!!

Loved this snowy mountain retreat with gorgeous views!

We loved staying at The Pine Lodge in Plain! The house easily slept our family size with bedrooms for all ages including full-sized bathrooms. During the winter months parking under the larger covered area was so accommodating to avoid snow fall and ice on your vehicle. Property kept in excellent shape with snow plow, garbage service and hot tub maintenance arriving throughout the week. Plenty of bedding, pillows, board games, sleds (kept in shed) and everything you’d need in the kitchen including spices. Oh my goodness the views! Big trees surround the lodge and when covered in snow you feel like you’re in a Christmas movie! The lodge is located next to an awesome sledding hill for all ages. Having a hot tub to soak in at night after sledding all day was perfect! I highly recommend this house for a family getaway. The deck outside is wonderful for sipping coffee or adult time in the evening. We appreciated the washer and dryer (they also had detergent available) so you do not need to pack as much for this trip. Individual heaters were helpful and safe to use in bedrooms. The row of closets at the entrance of the lodge are amazing for hang drying coats, snow suits & gear while keeping everyone’s items in their own closet. Comfortable couches, big windows, sliding glass doors, open floor plans with woodwork throughout make the price worthwhile. We’ll book this stay again for the perfect getaway for our family.

Holiday Happiness

This home was everything we had hoped it to be. Beautiful inside and out, amazing kitchen with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was clean, hot, and big. Our host had a beautiful live Christmas tree to put our gifts under! Snow was abundant for sledding and playing in. Thank you Michelle for the memories!

I grew up in Seattle with a love of the Cascades and all the activities the mountains and rivers allow. Our family really loves this property. Owning a home in Plain/Leavenworth area on the river surrounded by mountains has been a dream of mine. Now that I have met the people in the community I realize this is where I want to retire. This vacation home has brought our kids and grand children together with adventures by day and family laughter around the table at night. Sharing this space with others has been a wonderful experience. We hope your friends and family will enjoy the same love and relationships we have here.

Why they chose this property

I have traveled to this area my entire life. My father used to take us camping at Fish Lake long before the The Cove Resort was established just down the road a few minutes from the house. He taught us kids how to fish there then he taught my son how to fish on Fish lake years later. Our family vacations have always been in the Cascades most likely due to my parents financial resources. That is where I learned to love the mountains, lakes and rivers here in the Northwest.

When my husband and I found this property I was excited because I already loved this area. My husband was not sold on it, being from California he was not sure about all the snow in the winter. He was quickly sold on the idea when he saw the off road vehicles headed down our street to the trails a few blocks away. He loved riding off road and now he would not need to trailer his bikes to a recreational area to have fun. This is only one of the reasons this neighborhood is called recreational paradise. We have discovered many other fun activities in the last few years such as snowmobiling, hiking, boating, river floating or rafting depending on your adventure level, etc.

What makes this property unique

Location Location location!!

Like I have said recreational paradise! located in the mountains in between 2 rivers near Leavenworth and Steven pass thus property has so much to offer even if you are not the adventurous type.
