The location is perfect and the fact that we had access to a 6 person golf cart made it even better. It was easy to get to the Villages at Baytown Wharf and access the beach. The house was big and clean. It has a gorgeous view of the golf course. The refrigerator was a bit outdated, but kept the food cold. The main patio felt slightly unstable and kept us from sitting out there to enjoy the pond and wildlife, but we spent lots of time sitting on the upper balcony, drinking coffee in the morning. This property was perfect for our family of 5 and we will definitely consider staying here again.

House is dated. A/C thermostats are 7 degrees different...both need replaced... window was in master bedroom was broken...no A/C vent in kitchen dining... half the house was freezing and half was hot...guess we got what we paid for... would definitely not recommend this place!!!

An epic place to relax and enjoy with the family
Sandastine is a beautiful well kept and friendly location. The house was large enough for my family, the proximity to the beach and other activities was good. The availability of the golf cart was an icing on the cake..we enjoyed and would love to be back..

Nice house just needs lots of TLC and work
The price should have been much lower for the condition of this home. The house is very big and has a lot of potential if the owner would put some money into it. Paint peeling and scratched in many places, a lot of lights don’t work and living room fan doesn’t work. Master bath is awful-shower is unusable, light and toilet issues. Some electrical problems throughout the home. Company did fix blinds in master bedroom that were about to fall down but the rest would take extended period of time and could not fix during our stay. Advantages: great quite location, beautiful views, gold cart was great, house is beautiful just needs TLC.

Beautiful scenery, quiet cove, spacious home. Location was excellent. Everything we needed was accessible by golf cart. A few electrical issues and golf cart needs servicing but over all we had a great time. Already talking about reserving for next year.

It is just okay...
The property is just okay. We expected an older property, but this was disappointing. Firstly, it seems as if they bought every piece of furniture they could find at the Goodwill and stuffed in this place. There is so much furniture! And while I have no issue with a Goodwill find, all of this furniture seems like it was 10 years past its prime when they bought it. The sectional and two "white" chairs were in desperate need of a deep cleaning, as well as the carpet. As for the rest of the house, the downstairs master had a large window that anyone in the living room could look into and the doors didn't lock, nor do they close well. So there was little privacy in that room. Also the toilet in that bathroom had a broken handle, so we had to manually raise it after each flush or it would just run forever. The clothes dryer didn't work properly either. It took at least three cycles to get a small load dry. The bed in the other downstairs bedroom was so hard that one of the people sleeping in it ultimately started sleeping on the couch. Other issues: The air was very stuffy and stale. It seems like they need to change the filters for the HVAC system. Also, the HVAC system didn't seem to work properly. No matter what we set the temperature to it was freezing downstairs. To the point that I slept fully clothed with an extra blanket on the bed and was still cold. Meanwhile it was warm upstairs. Everyone was bundled under blankets if we set on the couch. Also, all of the shower curtains were way to short, so the floors kept getting wet when we took a shower. They make extra long shower curtains and they need to replace the ones they have with those. So overall, it wasn't terrible or intolerable. There was nothing so terrible that we couldn't stay there. Nor anything that we felt like warranted a call to the property management company. We enjoyed ourselves. But for the price and to be in Destin, it should be and could be better.

Too good to be true?
When we initially booked this property I kept thinking it was too good to be true. Reasonably priced, large enough to fit our family, close to the beach, AND a golf cart?!? Then we pull up and immediately realize it’s even better. The houses seem close together but you never feel your neighbors presence. The kids loved the golf cart and the community provided plenty of opportunities for them to ride along. We visited Baytown and drive under the highway to get to the beach. Overall it was an amazing place to stay. Would absolutely recommend to anyone

Good stay, wish the beds were comfortable though
Overall, the house, property and location were great. The beds were the most uncomfortable thing ever! I had to lay all of the pillows on the mattress to make a half way comfortable spot to sleep in the master. Husband slept on the couch the whole stay, very disappointed in the comfort of good sleep on our vacation. Everything else was great.

3 generation getaway
The house was nice with plenty of space. Two of the bedrooms had double beds not queens. The one bedroom didn’t have anywhere to hang clothes even though there was a closet in the room. Bathtub in the master drain stopper was broken so no soak tubs. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out. Our group ranged from 11-85 and everyone would come back and stay again. Having the gulf cart and access to so many activities to keep the whole group entertained was a definite plus Destin is always a wonderful time !!

Keyless entry is the best! Beautiful and quiet area, but close to stores and restaurants. When we needed any maintenance, there was always pleasant people to help and quick responses. Lots of room in pantry! The bathroom on 2nd floor could use a little longer shower curtain. Otherwise, it's a wonderful place to stay. We would stay here again!
