lovely rustic cabin overlooking river

Sitting on the back porch looking over the river and listening to the birds was lovely. We saw a bald eagle pair swoop through!

Beautiful Peaceful Place

We stayed two nights so we could go to the crystal mines. This place is off the beaten path about 8 miles down a dirt road but so worth it. Could hear the river while on the back porch, saw deer and other wildlife. Will definitely stay again! Host was great and stayed in touch when we needed.

Beautiful surroundings and a lovely cabin!

Awesome little cabin deep in the woods next to the river. The cabin came well stocked with necessities, and the property it’s on is beautiful. It’s a short walk to river access, and there’s laundry facilities and a place to wash crystals on site. We will absolutely be back to stay again!

Cabin 1

The cabin was very cozy and we could very much tell it was well cared for. Owner was helpful and the view was gorgeous, Just a short little walk to the river its self. Only complaint is that we had a little difficulty finding it and I did have to dig through about 5 emails (with next to no service) to find out exactly which of the 3 cabins I was booked for but all in all, I enjoyed the stay

Peaceful and quiet

Host was great. Cabin was very accommodating. It was awesome to sit and drink coffee looking at the river as the sun came up. Wildlife was great to watch as well. If we had showed up with nothing but food we would have pretty much had everything we needed to cook and clean with. There was a fire pit and grill as well, but unfortunately there was a burn ban on. We would definitely go back 😀

Cozy Cabin on the River

So enjoyed staying in this cozy cabin on the lake. It was quiet and peaceful. The Crystal Minds we came to see were close by with a grocery store and wonderful Cafe in Mt Ida. Alan was available if you had any questions or concerns. I would definitely come stay here again!

Perfectly Quiet🥰

Process was easy, I had to change my original booking and Alan was quick and efficient with that change. The property is remote, river access is close and it was just what I needed! It’s a great place to recharge your energy. Thanks Alan for a great stay😃

Nice Getaway - Really Enjoyed It

The family and I had a great time and really enjoyed the cabin. Clean, private, and comfortable. Excellent getaway with the Quachita river within walking distance. Wifi was not as good as we hoped, and the road is about six miles of gravel road (not recommended for motorcycle trips) but these are small complaints to an overall great secluded place to stay with access to the river and several crystal mines close by, not to mention Hot Springs an hour away. Recommended!

Away from it all

Very quiet. Not a lot of people. The wild life were awsome. Looking over the river seeing deer run across river. Seeing the fish jump and animals on river bank. It was a great time to just relax.

Comfortable and Convenient

The amenities in the cabin made it a pleasure to hang out there. The window unit AC kept things cool on an unusually warm Oct. day and the living and bedroom furniture were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and various kitchenware to facilitate making our own meals. There was even left-over condiments and foil. The bathroom shower was hot, elevated, and had good water flow. The location is ideal for riding/hiking Womble and is very scenic with the Ouachita river right out back. The cabin was clean and cool when we checked in and we were allowed a couple of hours for a late checkout to get one last ride in. We really enjoyed our stay.

Silence is Golden

Quiet, peaceful, and lovely. Plenty of space in the cabin. We had more than enough room for the three of us. Lots of deer to see. Ouachita River runs a safe distance behind the cabin and if you sit on the back porch you can hear the water running. It was the perfect weekend getaway.

Relaxing weekend- just what we needed!

Overall excellent property. So cozy and homey, yet plenty of space for our family of 5 inside and playing/running room for the kiddos outside. You can hear the river flowing from the back porch. It was very quiet, peaceful, and serene. We will stay here again on our next trip to crystal dig in Mt Ida!
