Hannah provided a wonderful home in the heart of a historic neighborhood in Elkins. The house was clean, offered the necessities, and was furnished and decorated in a unique and comfortable manner. I felt right at home and it was an amazing place to rest after a long work week. I would highly recommend and would stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The house had a lot of character, as houses do when they built so long ago. I very much enjoyed the stay. I never did find the extra half bath though. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay!
Cute, cozy and close to town. Also super dog friendly!
This home was very peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, there's a wood stove with wood on the back porch, and overall everything was really pleasant. I would only caution people who are sensitive to fragrance to perhaps skip this one. With best intentions, there were several products used to create a pleasant atmosphere but the combined effect was overwhelming. Host was accessible, friendly and accommodating.
Property was very clean, and centrally located. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evenings. We ate at Don Patrons. The food and service was wonderful.
The house is exactly as pictured and described. 10/10
Neat and clean with many of the owners person touches.
Communication was perfect
We enjoyed our stay
This was a very charming beautiful old house. Perfect weekend stay for us and our fur babies. Thank you for allowing them! Perfect little fenced in back yard for them to run around a bit. Nice comfortable bed for us. Everything was wonderful. Could use a bit brighter lights for overhead but loved all of the soft lamps and decorations. Everything we needed for our weekend get away.

The house was beautiful and the host was great. I highly recommend this rental!
Great location, but the house didn’t have carbon monoxide or smoke detectors. No closet space for your hanging clothes. Just a couple of items that would make the home a little more comfortable. Overall we liked the house and enjoyed our stay. Nothing that was a deal breaker for us.
The home was charming. Location excellent. We enjoyed every minute of our brief time in Elkins at this comfortable, clean, welcoming home! We hope to return when we have more time to “play” in the area!
Very clean and nicely decorated single home on a quiet street with very friendly neighborhood cats:-) Ultra cozy bed with a nice pillow top mattress cover that I'm going to buy when I get home!
I return to Elkins every year....this was my 1st time staying in town. The property was just as advertised.....very comfortable and nicely appointed. The location is within easy distance to the college and downtown area. Hannah graciously put up with me getting locked out of the house and tripping the circuit breaker. The 2 items that i would have liked to have had avaiable were a outdoor grill and basic cable TV..... it presently has hundreds of Roku channels. I would not hesitate to return to this property again.
Our stay in this property was perfect and just as advertised. The owner was responsive and the home was lovely, had great character, was properly outfitted and conveniently located. If we are back in the area again, this will be at the top of our list! Thank you.
Lovely cottage on a serene street in Elkins, Virginia. Enjoyed both inside comfort, nice amenities, and the front and back outside porch and deck. I would stay there again.
We absolutely loved staying here. Very cute house in a nice quiet neighborhood. The inside is clean and updated while retaining the early mid 20th century look. The beautiful back porch and fenced in yard was also great. Elkins is also a great mountain town that offers most amenities you would be looking for.
Very pretty house and it was decorated so nicely. Everything was clean and check in/check out was very easy. It was perfect for our short stay. The host was very polite and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.
This early 19th century house is located on a quiet street in the heart of Elkins' historic center, in walking distance to the college, city park, and downtown. It has a beautiful, open arrangement of rooms with tasteful, welcoming decor. It was a lovely, comfortable and quiet stay.
The owner forgot to tell VRBO that she has a rented the house. Got there to find out there were people living there already. I had no other plans and no other place to stay. It was a nightmare.
I absolutely love, love, loved this house! The decor and layout were perfect for a weekend getaway. Comfortable bed and couch. Everything you would need away from home to feel relaxed and at ease!
