This is a 2 story apartment separate from main house. Gorgeous views from this cottage style home on Lake Toledo Bend at Six Mile. Main porch has outdoor fireplace, bbq pit. Microwave, coffe pot, bath soap, mini frig, dish soap, towels, linens, 1 queen bed, and a 1 double, both bedrooms are upstairs. Has a boat launch within 1/2 mile. Charging of batteries are in place on water. Two restaurants within 1/2 mile, 2 miles to Fin and Feather. Quiet private neighborhood. Six Mile Marina is just around the corner also. Free wifi, satelite TV. We love our lake home and hope you feel welcome here. Relax and enjoy your stay. This is an apartment, separate from main house.

Excellent Place to stay

Super cute apartment, huge bathroom that is fully stocked if you forget something. Bedrooms are massive the stairs were steep but the place is on lake around the corner from Six Mile Marina. Plenty of parking for 2 boats 2 trucks. The owners were so sweet .

Great place!

The place was very clean and comfortable. The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating. Plus, they threw in a few fishing tips. I would recommend this place for small groups and will be back again.

Great time on Toledo Bend

Mr and Mrs Davis are excellent hosts. Great outdoor location for kids. Outdoor fireplace in covered patio and plenty of outdoor cooking options. Small refrigerator, microwave, and Kurig inside rental. We had a wonderful visit to Hemphill and the Columbia Museum.

Wonderful place to get away to.

Nice little two bedroom loft close to the water. With water and electricity behind the house you can leave your boat in with comfort. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The fishing in the area was great. The owners are super nice and will help you with anything you need. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get away for fishing or just relaxing. We will be back.

6 mile getaway

An absolutely fantastic stay. Clean, easy to find and perfect for me. Mark and Sheryl are wonderful hosts and very accommodating, the use of their grill and patio area in the evenings was just great. The company was very welcomed as well, from talking with the both of them to just hanging with their pets. Even though I was there for "work", it was a very home like feeling at the end of the day! Thank you both for having me. 5 stars all the way!

The Perfect Spot❤️

The place was clean and cozy, the neighborhood was quiet and there was a peacefulness about it. There is also a neighborhood boat launch around the corner and there is a public boat launch by the 6-mile bridge about 3-4 mins away.There are two great diners nearby, there is 6-mile diner around the corner from the house, and It also has its own boat launch right on the side of of the diner, but I think that you might have to pay a little fee to launch from there. What's great about that boat launch is that you can pull your boat up in the back of the diner, go and have a nice lunch and then get back in your boat and go fishing. There is another diner, Sportsman Cafe, and it is about 2-3 mins away. Sportsman Cafe is my fav. There is a Family Dollar about 2-3 mins away as well. Mr.Mark and Ms.Sheryl were very helpful when needed and they were always available. I texted Ms.Sheryl, I think that it was after 11:30 pm, and I had not noticed the time, and she answered. All in all, we had an amazing stay. Thank you Ms. Sheryl and Mr. Mark for everything. Oh, and the neighbors are great as well, I dropped my debit card and the neighbors found it and returned it. Great hosts, wonderful location, and great neighbors.

The cottage and property are great. We enjoyed our stay very much. Mark and Sheryl were wonderful hosts. We had some vehicle trouble on the way there and they went above and beyond to help us get the issue resolved. Highly recommend their place if you are looking to stay on Toledo Bend.

Home away from home

Excellent location just off lake and very comfortable accommodations. Many local restaurants nearby and plenty of places to see and things to do. Would love to spend more time and enjoy more than a weekend here. Lake is beautiful and everyone we talked to in the area was super nice. Excellent host/hostess and the best little guard doggies yet!
