Great view as illustrated, otherwise did not meet expectations
The location had a beautiful view which we enjoyed.
The conditiion of the property fell short on cleanliness and the Host had to send a cleaning person in to clean. There was: 1) dust throughout including several cobwebs hanging from the cieling, refrigerator and microwave needed cleaning, the master bedroom ceiling fan was layered with dust so thick we did not run it until the cleaning person arrived, 2) there were curtains on both sides of the master bedroom, and in the master bath all of which need a thorough cleaning as they were laden with dust, 3) several problems with ants in master bath and kitchen which the Host provided ant traps as a solution - after 3 weeks they had the outside sprayed and offered to spray inside but too late, 4) we had to cancel guests do to the conditions of the guest room which was dusty especially the bunk bed and had only sheer curtains on the front windows, 5) the flooring is concrete which needs thorough cleaning with special solution for concrete flooring, 6) the ocean breeze was nice to cool the house, however, there were no window or door screens so at night best to leave the lights off so as to not have to deal with moths, 7) the lights above the kitchen counter which are battery operated did not work and could not be opened, and finally, 8) the tiny second bathroom toilet is in the shower and takes up half the shower making it a bit awkward which is more for a boat than a home.
