Our gorgeous stone patio is a defining feature of the home. Enjoy morning coffee at our bistro table and the company of fellow guests at our fire pit or dinner at our handcrafted farm table.

LIVING AREAS:
- Comfortably furnished living room with 48” flatscreen TV w/Live TV, Netflix, Hulu, Disney + & ESPN+.
- Dining table seats six.
- Kitchen fully equipped with all appliances, cookware, utensils & necessities to cook your favorite meal. Coffeemaker, microwave, toaster oven, blender, mixer, good knives, waffle maker, and more. Complimentary coffee, teas, sweeteners, salt, pepper, cooking oils, vinegar, Dawn and dishwasher pods.

THREE BEDROOMS:
- Bedrooms are furnished with queen memory foam mattresses, luxury linens, dressers, nightstands, closets, luggage racks and ceiling fans.
- Ground floor bedroom with queen bed, TV and full bath across the hall is fully accessible to all living areas and perfect for limited mobility guests. Complimentary shower chair, walker and elevated toilet seat with handles are available on request.
- The second-floor owner's bedroom with separate dressing room, TV, full desk w/ great view and comfortable office chair.
- The other second floor bedroom has a queen and a comfy twin window bed.

TWO BATHS:
- The first-floor bath with walk-in rain shower.
- The second-floor bath with twin sinks and a tub/shower combination.
- Baths are fully stocked with quality towels, hair dryers, complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturizer, hand soap, and make-up remover wipes.

OTHER FEATURES:
- Washer/Dryer, fragrance-free detergent, iron, ironing board. Drying rack available on request.

PLEASE NOTE:
-This is a duplex with separate entrances and separate outdoor areas and parking on opposite ends of the house. Guests in this unit have exclusive use of the stone patio.
-Although we have sound-proofed common walls, you may hear sounds from the other unit. Please let us know of noise is a problem so we can address the issue.
-The units are served by separate HVAC systems.
-The house is treated regularly by our exterminator. Please let us know if you see any bugs.

Atlanta retreat

This amazing home was just what I was looking for! The location was ideal for our time in Atlanta and very centrally located. The home was as fresh and clean as it appears in the photographs. Everything we needed was available and even snacks and beverages in the refrigerator when we arrived. Kathie is a thoughtful and communicative host. She provided us with a comprehensive restaurant, area and convenience reference guide which was very helpful. A must stay if you are looking for that charming get-away in the mid-town area!

Perfect in Every Way

In the midst of Midtown Atlanta, is this lovely home in an urban forest setting. Patio filled with ferns, beautiful songbirds, squirrels, and chipmunks. Tall trees all around. The house is extremely clean, well stocked, and decorated beautifully and comfortably. The owners have planned carefully for their guests. The location is ideal. We were extremely close to grocery stores and all the things we wanted to see. I would recommend this listing to everybody. I hope to make a return trip soon.

One of our best VRBO experiences yet

We were so happy staying here. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we would happily stay here again. This is a beautifully, carefully appointed accommodation where the hosts have gone out of their way to provide well-appreciated amenities: fresh flowers, a variety of snacks and beverage options awaited us. There were all sorts of birdhouses and feeders in the yard to cater to my family's bird-watching hobby, and the most adorable "little library" across the street to occupy my bookworms. This is a quiet and lovely neighborhood, and it appears the hosts live adjacent to the rental, so please consider this rental if your party can respect this. Thank you to our hosts, we appreciate you!!

Even Better the Second Time

This property is perfect in every regard and a convenient, central location to various activities in the Atlanta metro area. I stayed here solo the first time and enjoyed it so much that I returned with my family for a second trip. It’s now my go-to short term rental in the city. Kathie is one of the most exceptional hosts I’ve ever encountered on the platform. She has thought of every creature comfort with a level of organization that is so hard to find these days. Everything You Need!

The property was exactly as described, communication with the property manager was great, the house was super clean and comfortable. All the little extras that you don't always find made it feel like you were staying at a friend's house while they were away. Pancake mix, snacks, the best stocked seasoning cabinet we have experienced. If you forgot some toiletries they probably had you covered, and 'the good TP' 😊. Very conveniently located to shops and restaurants and things to do but tucked away so it is quiet and you can enjoy the patio. Definitely somewhere we would want to book again.

Beautiful Home

Katie was an amazing host. The check in process was easy and communication was always fast if we needed anything during our stay. Her home was beautifully decorated, clean and very accommodating. The ideal location conveniently within walking distance to restaurants and stores. The home was cozy and had anything and everything that you would need for your stay. The patio area that was perfect for entertaining and the firepit was a highlight for our evening conversations. The neighborhood was very beautiful and I felt extremely safe while taking my morning walks. If i’m ever in Atlanta I definitely would stay again and I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is a fantastic listing. I highly recommend it. The neighborhood is nice and quite yet close to most anything you would like to do. The space is very clean. It is well equipped. Host is quick to communicate. Pictures are accurate. 100% would suggest staying here.

Perfect Place to Stay in Atlanta!

I have stayed at dozens of vacation rentals over the years, and I put Midcentury Bungalow Two at the top of my list! We were in Atlanta for 11 days following my daughter's surgery at Piedmont Hospital. We needed a place that was close to the hospital, grocery stores, and restaurants, but that also had a first-floor bedroom and walk-in shower for my daughter. The bungalow checked every box and then some. It was comfortable, spacious, and immaculate, with numerous amenities. Kathie was a gracious and communicative host, with the most incredible eye for detail that I've come across. She has thought of every possible thing you may need when you're in a vacation rental. At every turn, there was something else I came across that made me think, "what a brilliant idea!" In addition, the bungalow is so well located. It's a two-minute drive to the grocery store and numerous restaurants, yet, I felt like I was in a peaceful, secluded, and safe residential neighborhood. I recommend this bungalow to anyone traveling to Atlanta and will pass along my recommendation to family and friends!

A Family’s Dream Rental

This rental was the perfect home away from home for my husband, toddler, infant and me. The pack and plays, high chair, booster, toys, safety gates on the stairs, audio monitor, sound machine, kids bath accessories and kids kitchenware were so extremely helpful. Traveling with little kids is hard so having a home base with all the amenities made our vacation SO much more enjoyable. The dressing room off the upstairs bedroom was the perfect spot for baby. Kathie has lots of small touches that made our stay so comfy. If I’m ever in Atlanta again I will rent this place again.

Marvelous stay!

This property was the best vacation rental that I have ever stayed in! The host is very responsive and communicates well. The pictures are accurate and the location was great for doing anything in the Atlanta area. The check in and out was seamless. I appreciate greatly when there is a lock box that the code is changed with each person. The beds are super comfy along with the couch. The TV has endless options of streaming. It's the little touches that the owner makes that really sets this place apart from others that I have stayed in. Some of these include: 1. Lights are all labeled 2. Fresh flowers upon arrival 3. Bug spray in the back yard 4. Tea Kettle for the kitchen (as a tea and not coffee drinker, it was very nice to see them thinking of us non coffee people) 5. Soda in the fridge and welcome snack basket 6. Fulled stocked spices with olive oil 7. Quality pots and pans 8. Quality toliet paper 9. Plenty of towels 10. Kotex, makeup removers, and black wash cloths for women! 11. Seperate power strips on each night stand next to the beds in all the rooms I highly recommend Kathie's place. We are from Florida and after our time here, we plan to make it a regular whenever we need to escape a hurricane!

Our new Atlanta place to get away!

We were celebrating our son's graduation from GA TECH, and this was the perfect place to do so! We cannot say enough good things about this property. The hosts made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. They were very responsive to our needs and even provided a grab bar for an elderly parent to use. The house was very clean and well stocked. The firepit in the side yard was an added plus. We will definitely be rebooking this on our next stay in Atlanta! Thank you!

Great stay!

This was a great property. The owner was reachable if needed, the unit was clean, and the amenities were more than we expected. The neighborhood was quiet and close to many of the sites we wanted to visit. Piedmont park nearby is a must if you have children. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Really superb

This place provides the comfort of a quality hotel room and is as well appointed as a home. We all thought this was one of the best vrbo’s we’ve stayed in. House was clean with many high quality and thoughtful details. I really appreciated that the kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with anything you would need but uncluttered. The firepit was a great feature. The host was easily reachable and very accommodating. Would absolutely stay again.

Great stay!

Kathie was very communicative each step of the way! The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for our first visit to Atlanta! The location was great and super easy for us to jump on the highway to get downtown to sightsee! The backyard was very nice and spacious to hangout with, and she even left us bug spray and repellant as the mosquitoes were hungry ha! The check-in and check-out process was easy! Would definitely stay again :)

Very nice house, good location

My husband and I stayed here with my parents and my sister, so 5 of us total. The house was beautiful, with three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. We made lots of home cooked meals in the kitchen, which was pretty well-equipped and with beautiful dishes. The clothes washer and dryer were large and efficient. The beds were comfortable and I enjoyed the yoga mat and equipment I borrowed from Kathie. The backyard was beautiful and comfy, with a bunch of bird feeders. We unfortunately didn’t get to try out the fire pit because it rained for the second half of our trip. The house was in a quiet neighborhood but also very close to the rest of Atlanta. Kathie was very responsive and quick to communicate. I would definitely stay here again if I were to come back to Atlanta for a family vacation.

The house was absolutely beautiful! It had everything we needed for our week long stay. It was very clean and modern! The outside area was perfect for eating dinner and hanging out with our family. The neighborhood is really nice. The owners made sure we had everything we needed and gave us information on local restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this property.

Absolutely fabulous!

The bungalow was perfect for me and my sisters. Kathie was attentive and a great host (she immediately responded to all of our questions and gave us a fire log so we could enjoy the firepit in the backyard). Everything from the supplies in the kitchen to the beautiful photography to the games in the game cupboard were top-notch and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

Perfect Location, Neighborhood, Property & Host!

From the entryway through the garden, to the spacious, dual-level floor plan that easily accommodated my family of six, Kathie’s place was perfect! Her property is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, immaculate, and is tastefully decorated. Kathie spared no attention to detail and it is apparent that it is important that her guests are comfortable during their stay and for this I am appreciative. She and Jay were awesome and considerate hosts and we look forward to returning to their, “Home away from Home” on a future visit.
