Hale Moi 112 B is affectionately called The Plumeria Suite because of the area's abundance and popularity of the fragrant Plumeria flower. Feel free to pick them and place on top of your ear like the locals do.

Enjoy everything Princeville has to offer with its stunning mountain views right off the lanai, sunsets at the lookout a few steps away, walking distance to 1 Hotel with incredible ocean views and fine dining. Additionally a 5 minute drive to Hanalei Bay for daytime fun in the sun or a 15 minute drive to the end of the road for snorkeling at Tunnels or Ke'e, and hiking Hanakapiai. Also, Princeville Shopping Center and Makai and Prince Golf Courses.

Hale Moi 112 is divided into two units; Units 112 A & B, each approx. 500 sq ft, and each having its own lockable, private space. The only common area is the entry hallway before proceeding to your unit.

This unit is considered a one bedroom unit by the County of Kauai but functions like a studio as the 'bedroom' does not have walls.

There is no formal kitchen with major cooking appliances nor a washer and dryer and we limit stays to 5 nights because of this. Please plan and pack accordingly.

We've stocked as much as possible in the unit so you can eat and enjoy without major cooking appliances; included are a rice cooker, crockpot, blender, coffee grinder, colander, toaster, microwave, drip coffee maker, plates, cups, wine glasses, cutlery, utensils, flatware, etc. Beach towels, a cooler and beach chairs are also included.

Hawaii Life Rentals is a locally owned, licensed real estate company with managers and staff who live on island and available to you for personal assistance and Concierge services.

Beautiful view!

My husband and I stayed here for a week. As soon as we walked in, I immediately thought it was way better in person than it looked in the pictures. The wifi password pointed out that it was like being in a treehouse. It definitely has that vibe. We could see the top of the napali coast from the lanai. All the lush tropical plants/forest with the birds chirping was lovely as well. A great view to wake up to each morning. The bed was really comfy as well. Parking was weird so if you hate walking that might bug you. We were in paradise, so it was hard for me to be that annoyed about it. But if youre an older person, it might not be for you. Getting to the apartment after 8, left us with very few permit spots to park in, and sometimes required us to walk up a steep hill to get there. All in all, I highly recommend. Beautiful property!

Cute & Walkable Spot in Princeville

What we were particularly grateful for was the walkability of this place. Just ten minutes away is the 1 Hotel where you can have a nice dinner, drinks, and an unbeatable view of Hanalei Bay. There's also Hideaway Beach, another short walk from the property with wonderful snorkeling! My only complaint about this place is parking. The "permit-only" rule is somewhat complicated. You're only allowed to park in designated spots and there were several times where we would come back at the end of the day, only to find that all the spots were taken by people without permits, leaving us with no parking option. It was a little stressful and confusing at times. Besides that, I highly recommend this place to stay and Martie was a wonderful and communicative host.

perfect!

This VRBO had everything we needed and was in a GREAT location. It is really close to a beach and a lookout that’s great for sunsets and we ended up loving the mountain views from the patio. The added bonus of having some beach chairs and towels to use ended up really coming in handy! The place is cute and cozy and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Beautiful location

We had everything we needed for stay, kitchen was stocked, beach items were included- cooler, chairs and towels. Martie was so helpful with promptly answering any questions we had. The location is so beautiful especially looking out the lanai to the mountains, foilage and even a rainbow welcomed us our first morning there. We were able to walk down to Hideaway Beach (wear appropriate footwear, its steep) and we also walked over to Queens bath (again wear good footwear). Since there is no washer and dryer, we are thankful we planned accordingly. Thanks again Martie. We definitely recommend.

Great location

We love the location, the condo was just as it was stated in the description. It’s a perfect location if you want to explore the area for the price It’s a little harder to get to the beach because you have to walk down the steep hill, but the views are amazing. The only negative we had about the condo was it needed more towels, you get 4 towels total for 3 night stay. The beach towels are old and worn, The bed pillows were extremely dirty and uncomfortable. sitting out on the deck was a little tough because it was not very clean and patio furniture was questionable. When we went to use the dishes, they were also some plates that were dirty. You have to wash your own dishes and I don’t think the people before us did. They should check before the rent it that it is clean. Little things like the lamp shades were dirty. All that adds up, just need a good clean. The condo space is comfortable, quiet and accommodating, I would recommend but know it’s the location and quite that makes this a good place to stay.

Look at the listing very carefully!

My husband I and visit Kauai almost every year. We always book a condo with at least 1 bedroom because I go to bed earlier than him. So imagine my surprise when we check in and this is a studio, even though the listing clearly states 1 BEDROOM. I messaged the property manager and she replied that in the description it says “hotel room style accommodations”. We have stayed in many hotels where they do have bedrooms inside the room. So describing it as "hotel style accommodations" doesn't accurately convey the layout of the listing and is purposefully misleading especially since VRBO allows rentals to be listed as studios. The pictures provided with the listing are cleverly taken and none of them show the room in its entirety (even though it is possible to take a picture of the whole room). That being said, the room was updated with newer flooring and kitchenette. We did make a trip to Costco the day after we checked in to purchase pillows, linens and beach towels. The pillows were absolutely gross if you looked under the pillow case. The did provide beach towels but they were older and small. It's an acceptable space if you know what you are getting.

Spacious and Comfortable Condo

This comfortable condo was perfect for our week-long stay in north Kauai! In a great location, the studio is huge, with living area, kitchen area, and bed next to the lanai. Communication was great. Highly recommend!

Lovely treehouse-esque stay on the north shore

We loved staying here! Very spacious for a studio!! Great sunset views and central location for other north shore activities. Lots of counter space and nice sized fridge. We really appreciated the extra touches provided upon arrival :) The bed is pretty spring-y, so if you are a light sleeper, be prepared. Overall, loved our stay and would stay here again!

Great location, enjoyable stay

The unit itself was great. Very clean! Plenty of room, small but very efficient kitchen ~lots of counter space. The unit smelled a bit musty, but I think that was just due to the age of the building. The bed was too firm for my liking but not so much so that I couldn't sleep. Neighborhood was very nice. I loved the cats, chickens and roosters wondering around. Restaurant right across the street. Everything else required driving to get to, but the area is beautiful. I would stay here again.

Great home base and responsive host

This was the perfect home base for our stay on the north shore of Kauai. The unit was a very short drive from Hanalei, restaurants, the grocery store, and not too far from the Na Pali coast. The unit itself was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, but we did not read the listing close enough to see that there was no stovetop. The host was great and very responsive to any questions that we had. The unit felt much for spacious than a hotel and was perfect for just the two of us. Would definitely recommend!

Great Unit

We loved our stay here! Room was very clean and well equipped! Kitchenette had all we needed to make quick breakfasts and lunches. Towels were plush and the unit also had beach towels for us to use. Bed was comfortable and so were the pillows! Property was easy to check in and in a nice neighborhood. Only negative was the AC did not work during our stay but with the windows open on both sides and the two fans on at night we slept fine and just avoided being in the unit during the peak of the hot day.

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood

Clean apartment with nicely thought out furnishings. Host was very helpful and easy to communicate. The neighborhood is very nice. There's a couple of less crowded beaches within walking distance and the overall vibe is respectfully calm.

Amazing Stay!

We loved our time in Princeville. The apartment itself was gorgeous, well stocked, and had a lovely balcony. Bed was comfy and there were plenty of linens as well as some extra beach supplies such as chairs. We didn’t end up using them but appreciated that they were available. Martie the manager was easy to get ahold of and was very helpful with any questions we had. There was easy parking and though the road to Hanalei had some delays it was a great location and wonderful home base.
