Hale Moi 112A affectionately called the Nene Suite because of Princeville's prolific rejuvenation of the Nene goose; Hawaii's state bird, once endangered.

This unit is considered a one bedroom by the County of Kauai but functions like a studio unit as the 'bedroom' does not have walls. The bedroom area is open to living room, dining, and kitchen areas but also open to a beautiful mountain view off your front lanai.

Princeville Shopping Center has a grocery store, numerous eateries, and shops. This unit is walking distance to 1 Hotel with fine dining and stunning ocean/mountain/waterfall views. Don't forget the Prince and Makai Golf Courses as well as snorkeling at Tunnels or Ke'e Beach and hikes into Hanakapiai.

Hale Moi 112 consists of 2 side by side units of approx. 500 sq ft each. The only common space is the entry hallway before proceeding to your private unit, in this case, unit 112A.

We have many repeat guests to this unit and the owner continuously updates with new bedding, pillows, and flair.

Wonderful stay

The property was clean and charming and perfect for our first trip to the island. The location is amazing, close to Hanalei Bay & Tunnels Beach. You are just a few minutes walk from a lookout to the ocean and short hike down to a magical beach with fantastic snorkeling. We liked that it was quiet and the balcony had a lovely view. There is a golf course with beautiful walking trails and a grocery store close by, as well as some great places to eat. It made it very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the apartment and a dedicated parking space. We also appreciated how helpful Martie was! We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Hale Moi. Enjoyed the jungle view and different birds and from the balcony. Great home base for the north side of the island. Close to Hanalei bay, Tunnels beach and Haena park. Comfortable bed and quiet neighborhood. Sunset views down the street were amazing!!!

Amazing location and beautiful place to come back to

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was extremely ideal. It was magical to wake up early and sip coffee to the sound of birds in the forest just outside the window, and then run or walk down to the beach. We’re avid runners and walkers, so we loved being able to walk or run into Princeville to grab groceries or get a shaved ice. The property manager was so kind and responsive. It was also amazing to have a kind bed. We slept so well. I can’t recommend this spot enough. If we come back to Kauai, we’ll definitely stay here again.

Truly a Good Place To Stay

Great experience.

We landed and had to fine this place in the dark - it was difficult as there was no "Hale Moi" sign as indicated. When we thought we found the spot we could only see a 200 apartment number. We realized later the 100 numbers were on the bottom of the condos that weren't visible when pulling in parking spot in pitch black. The place was great. Extremely comfortable bed. Super cute place with great views (when clouds were'nt impeding the mountains). Lovely touches. Very clean and great comms with the property manager. 15 min walk to the beach. 3 min walk to Hideaway pizza was great (when it was open). Felt safe in swanky "subdivision".

Perfect!

We just loved our stay here at Hale Moi #112A! It was very clean and cute as button. We immediately felt at home and had everything we needed. The view outside the lanai was outstanding! The property manager Martie was absolutely top notch and very responsive. Would love to stay here again!

Comfy stay, great location!

The unit was surprisingly spacious, with a comfy bed and couch, a pleasant lanai, and a fully equipped kitchen. The view from the overlook was spectacular, and just steps away. Do reserve the shuttle in advance if you're planning to visit Haena Beach Park or Ke'e Beach. The fans provided good air circulation, and the a/c worked fine when we needed it. We would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Beautiful condo in perfect location

My husband and I loved our stay at Hale Moi. Our condo was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. We enjoyed having coffee with our jungle and mountain views. It was also Hideaway beach was a short 10 minute walk and we enjoyed spending many days relaxing and snorkelling there. We spotted sea turtles there on more than one occasion. We also loved going for morning runs on the pathways in Princeville. Overall it was an amazing stay!

I cannot say enough good things about this condo! It was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay as we explored the island but also wanted a place that felt like home at the end of the day. It had everything we needed, was quiet and comfortable, and was easy to book and check-in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would most definitely choose this place again!

Nice stay!

We spent 5 days in this accommodation and were super happy with it. The apartment is super equipped with everything you need (snorkeling equipment etc.), clean and very lovingly decorated. We highly recommend a stay here. A small negative aspect, you should not be too sensitive to noise. You can hear the neighbors. Half so bad but should be noted.

Princeville getaway

This condo was perfect for our needs. Reasonably priced, and we loved that there was a kitchen and a washer/ dryer. I loved sitting outside on the balcony looking out at the lovely view. It was so peaceful. The check in process was seamless, and Martie’s communication was excellent. The only downside to the peaceful quiet place was that the upstairs neighbour practiced musical instruments and singing for several hours continuously at the weekend that we were there, and once they started playing an instrument and singing around mIdnight, but stopped right away after we knocked on the ceiling. (It was fine and very quiet during the rest of the week though, so it might only be an occasional thing). Overall, we were very happy with this place.

The property was really nice clean and as listed. The only issue was the parking situation is not the best. The property manager needed to do the job as required but failed. All an all we had a great time and felt at home.

Not as described, not cleaned, no closet

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a studio not an one bedroom apartment. The title of ad was deceiving. Worse than that, this studio does not include a proper closet for your clothes. There is a half-open closet in the bathroom!! In which the host expects you to put your dress along with the beach chair and towels! There is even not enough room for clothes of two people to put inside it. We were in the island for a wedding and were truly disappointed and mad due to lack of proper closet. The host suggested us to hang our dresses on windows!The studio was not cleaned and was not ready for guests. The balcony was full of spiders web everywhere even on the furniture. We didn’t set foot on the balcony nor were able to open its door to enjoy outside weather, because of scary large spiders hanging in front of the door. The host stopped communicating with us after several messages, and even didn’t respond for check out questions!Overall, very disappointed. This stay caused us to not enjoy Kauai!Please consider booking somewhere else!

Great Location

Easy to access and close to many activities. One of the best sunset locations is a very short walk from the condo. Hanalei Bay is a short drive away. Beaches, restaurants, food trucks and shopping are all there. We found every thing we needed in the rental. The view of the mountains of Kaua’i was nice.

Comfortable, central location and great views

Unit was as described, comfortable, clean, very well stocked. Loved having a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Easy and friendly communication with property manager. Beautiful views of tree canopy and mountains, bird watching while sipping my coffee every morning. Close to walking path to beach and along golf course. Short drive to shops and Hanalei. Great little studio for two people. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs as roosters can be loud but that’s a problem anywhere you stay. We loved sleeping with windows open and waking up naturally to the morning sunshine and birds singing.

We stayed one month. Very convenient for North Shore of Kauai. Condo very clean and comfortable. Peaceful, with view of trees & mountains. Extremely well-equipped kitchen; nice to have washer/dryer in unit. Only minor negative was some noise from upstairs unit.

Perfect Honeymoon Stay!

Great little property for a Kauai vacation! Super clean and had all the essentials. Big enough to not feel cramped without paying for space you aren't going to use! Short walk to a couple great beaches and a quick drive to plenty of other things to do and places to eat.

Great stay

We had a really lovely stay at Hale Moi. The room was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the lush view from our room. The location was a quick drive to Hanalei and great for accessing areas in the north shore. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and all the scenic views nearby.
