This property is conveniently located just a few steps from downtown Litchfield in the George Bolles home built in the 1830s. This apartment in a two family home is located in the heart of the historic district of the town. In one of LItchfield's oldest neighborhoods and surrounded by colonial homes, it is well-furnished and well-maintained 1,000-square-foot apartment within walking distance of the Green, dining, shopping, and White Memorial Nature Preserve, a natural history museum and nature center.
Our home had been in the same family since the early 1900's and we have made an effort to keep much of the charm of an older home while still providing a comfortable, clean space to enjoy while in the Litchfield area.
The bedroom holds a brand new Queen sized bed and there is another twin sized daybed in the living room area for an extra guest. Travelers with small children may request a pack and play and stroller for use to make walking around town just that much easier! The bathroom sports the original clawfoot tub great for showers of soaking after a long day! A separate dining area can be used for meals or as a desk if you must get some work done! The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave, full sized refrigerator and stove, plates, pots and pans, of course!
In the summer you may enjoy the front porch, reserved solely for your use to sit in the sun, eat a meal or simply watch the world go by!
