LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT CONDO? This has everything! It was not damaged during the storms except for the downstairs storage shed which was repaired.
Don't get everyone on top of each other on vacation! Spread out with 2/2 downstairs and huge bedroom w queen and bunk set and bath in loft. Plus a landing area for games. Computer desk and monitor on loft landing for WFH.
Sit on the 4 season balcony that can be enclosed, screened, or open and watch dolphins, manatees, pelicans, and boats. Amazing huge sunrises while you have your coffee.
Everyone can spread out and relax. The king room is at the end of the hall with an ensuite. The queen is separated by a bathroom and closet, so you have privacy. Upstairs in the loft is a landing area, then a bedroom with a bunk set and a queen bed. If you want to, you can add the 3rd bathroom up there for the cost of cleaning, linens, toiletries for $75 for the stay. This bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The ceiling does slant so not suitable for those over 6' tall. Everyone sleeps well on the comfy beds as per the reviews.
When you are ready to be more active, walk steps to the beach just across the two-lane road. Maybe you would rather fish from the dock. A 35lb tarpon was recently caught, but I can't guarantee, ha ha.
The location is great! Walk a block to Crabby's, a waterside restaurant or a couple blocks for miniature golf. Many other restaurants are within blocks. A trolley can take you to Clearwater Beach or all the way to St Pete Beach.
This condo is not suitable for children under 7.
Everyone gets a break in this condo. Spread out in this 1900 sq ft condo with loft. Lots of room for kids to play upstairs or for you to get away and work at the desk/printer station in the loft - portable collapsible desk. Look down at the water while you work and the kids are in the bunk area behind the door). High speed internet allows you to zoom meet. Home schooling? The kids can work upstairs in the loft landing or at the island or kitchen table while you work in the very back. Balance work and play as you see fit.
The stairs are now updated and safer. Will get new professional pics soon.
There is so much to do without even leaving the property. Dock, kayak ramp (you can rent kayaks and paddle boards a couple blocks away), heated pool, hangout area by the water with grill, TV, tables and chairs. Fishing is great! Can't promise but check out the pics!
BRING YOUR JET SKIS or paddle boards or rent them a block away. This condo has a ramp and a beach on the Intracoastal. The dock extends far out at the narrows so you can do some great fishing and the dolphins come right up. Walk a few steps across the street to the beach. Use the provided beach cart and chairs (downstairs storage unit) to have a great day at the beach.
This small complex has a heated pool that you will be able to enjoy to yourself many times. In addition, under the balcony of building A next to you is a great hangout by the water, with a grill, TV, and tables and chairs. Relax and have cocktails as the sun goes down! You can comfortably sit and have coffee or cocktails right out on the water with the seating area on the extended dock.
Like to fish? Here is what a guest wrote:
"The fishing was fantastic. I caught four redfish, tons of mangrove snapper, and I hooked and lost a tarpon. Also saw a 6 foot bull shark at the end of the dock." Of course, I can't guarantee YOU will have the same luck LOL
Cathedral ceilings and lots of windows make this a bright, open space. Water view is from the kitchen as well, which is open to the living area. There is a breakfast bar with stools.
A staircase leads to the loft. Tweens and teens have their own area above the living area where you can keep an eye but they can keep their mess and noise upstairs! A landing provides an area to hang out and play games. Games are provided.
The third bathrooom up in the queen/bunk room loft area is optional for $75 per stay. please let me know if you want it when you are booking. The reason for the upcharge is to save you money as many people do not want to use that upstairs bathroom and therefore, not have to pay the extra cleaning fee.
There is a 5 night minimum. During high season those 5 nights must fall somewhere between a Saturday and a Saturday.
The condo is up two easy flights of outside stairs that are covered so you can walk from the two-car tandem parking under the condo and up the covered stairs in case it should rain. The unit parks two cars back to back.
A washer dryer is handy in the main area by the kitchen. Many other amenities are provided, including beach towels, drip coffee pot, juicer, crockpot and more.
Keep in mind that you are on the 3rd floor in the Florida sun. During the heat of the day, even with this new 5 ton HVAC, the temps will not usually cool below 74 during the heat of the afternoon. However, with the high ceilings it is not an issue for almost everyone. Upon arrival when you are going in and out unloading, it can get up to 75 and take a while to cool down. Mornings and night times you should be able to have the temps as low as 67. This is typical for everywhere I have lived in FL condos. If this is an issue, reconsider the property and think of a hotel perhaps.
Indian Shores is a non-high rise, old Florida family-friendly little town near bigger towns that provide anything you could want. The water is clean and the beaches are lovely!
Dolphin Dreams is a second home for us but since we travel for work we can’t always get there. We are happy to share it with your family. Since I travel so much and stay in VRBO properties whenever possible, I know how important it is to have what you need and for things to be convenient. You want it to feel like home but yet also to feel like you are somewhere special – and you are! My goal is to help you make memories for a lifetime! Hope you will share your photos and experiences with me and have the best vacation ever!
