Good location for us to visit family. Close to BZ corners. Large roomy home. Great yard if you need a place for your animal. Trials at the back of the property. Visited in later Nov. Had a furnace which was nice. Some cleaning issues.
Plenty of parking.
A great place to stay. Well appointed, with a lovely back yard. Sat outside with coffee and listened to the river sounds!
Convenient to hikes, paddling and restaurants in town.
Absolutely, fantastic beautiful place. Everything was great. We are leaving a new bocce ball set that we bought so it’s really nice and there’s also Yeager Red Bulls in the fridge. We can’t take it with us. It won’t go bad though absolutely great time thank you.
Our family, including two dogs, spent a wonderful three days at this home. It is large and comfortable. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. Bonus: a nest of Stellar Jays with three babies provided some fun viewing. Highly recommend if you are looking for peace and quiet.
My mother is a clean freak and upon arrival all she could say was, “this place is so clean.”
I was looking for a place that didn’t have neighbors right next door, with privacy and this fit the bill perfectly. I loved the layout of the place. The master bedroom was separate from the other bedrooms. I work a physical job and took full advantage of the jet bathtub in the master bedroom. I forgot my swimsuit for the jacuzzi. Nice place beautiful surroundings and privacy with wooded area. Could hear the salmon river nearby but down a steep embankment, not able to walk down to. I’d definitely comeback to this lovely house in the woods.
Location is great for visiting all that is offered in Columbia Gorge area . We stayed 5 nights and visited different sites every day . My wife , myself and our dog Mocha visited the falls , fruit loop , Gifford National Park up past Trout Lake . Klickitac river & gorge
We came up for a family trip and graduation event. The house was perfectly set up for our needs. The 2 living rooms was a great setup for a family. We also loved the jet tub in the master bath. Backyard was beautiful and open if you brought pets. We enjoyed coffee on the patio multiple mornings. Thank you for sharing your place.
We had a great time at this house. The yard has plenty of room for outside games. Plenty parking. The kitchen appliances are up to date.

Don't Plan on Enjoying the River
The electricity was out for four hours on Saturday night. Out from 8:00is to just after midnight.
We chose the property based on being able to go to the river. It was off limits due to being a little difficult to get to.
No mention of the place being right by the WA-141 highway.
I had originally thought that we would look for a place in Hood River but I was unsuccessful identifying a property with all of the necessary criteria. How wonderful that I found River House! It was so peaceful, clean, and large enough that we all had our respective privacy. We met there to discuss estate matters, enjoy the outdoors, and enjoy each other’s company. This property afforded us all of this and more. Moreover, we were able to make the drive out on WA-141 with many views of Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood.
House was very clean. 3 bedrooms and 3 hide a beds. White salmon river borders property but is a long ways down a cliff. No access from the property. But we didn't rent it for that. Internet was in and out alot. But again... that was fine with us! Beds are comfy and bathrooms/kitchen were clean.
We enjoyed the stay. The back yard was the perfect place to relax in the afternoon. From our bedroom we could hear the river at night, I had some of the best night sleep.
The house had everything we needed. Beautiful places to hike very close by.
The house was surprisingly spacious and very homey, which allowed us to spend time together as well as get some space when needed. Kitchen is very well stocked!! Property is well maintained and our dog had a great time exploring outside. You can hear the river if the doors/windows are open but when everything is shut, no outside noises could be heard, not even from the nearby highway. Would definitely come back again!
With two young kids, we wanted some space for them to run around in a beautiful setting, and this property provided just that. The house was clean with good quality furniture and appliances. The yard was big enough to run around. And the house was only about 20 minutes from downtown Hood River. The property was quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed for a long weekend getaway.
Beautiful setting. Saw wild turkey and 2 little babies, deer and baby. Fun! Clean with adequate space for 8. It would be nice to have iron, ironing board and hair dryer. We enjoyed our stay!
