About this property

Very well located, great walking access to Old Québec sites.

Prime location in Québec city. 5 to 10 minutes walk to majors tourist attraction. Near several nice bike path or roller.

Near Old Port you will have access to all old Quebec by walk from the famous Place Royale to rue St-Jean and Grande Allée.

Do not hesitate to take the funecular from Place Royal to Chateau Frontenac or the ferryboat to Levis back an forth. This will give you the best vue of Québec.

Also you can visit a more local district as rue Cartier, rue St-Joseph and 3e avenue.

Our place is a beautiful small appartement european style with 1 closed bed room. Little kitchen, bathroom with washer-dryer. Nice vew to the beautiful Train station and the Old Port also near the anticarian street. 200 meters from the wall of intramuros old city.

ACTIVITIES :
For skiing :
* 20-30 minutes drive : Le Relais du lac Beauport and Stoneham for beginner and intermediate
* 30 minutes drive Mont-Saint Anne for beginner, intermediate and professionnal
* Less than one hour drive for a perfect sunny day : Massif de la Petite Rivière Saint-François in Charlevoix

For biking : Few bike path around. A day trip to chutes Montmorency falls (higher than Niagara falls) with children or a day trip aroud Ile d'Orléan for very good cyclist. A day trip to the Old Québec bridge by the lovely path along the Saint-Laurent River. Possibility to take the ferry in front Quebec round trip for a nice break and best view of Québec city. In 15 to 20 minutes bike, you can go to the beach at Beauport Bay. Also some activity like catamaran for rent, kit surfing volleyball.

Court séjour travail

Un super appartement très bien placé dans la belle ville de Québec. Cependant gare aux surprises de dernière minutes ! Il est tout à fait possible de recevoir un mail à 7AM le jour même de l’emménagement dans lequel l’agence vous annonce que votre logement à été cédé à autrui … assez stressant n’est-ce pas ? Tout est rentré dans l’ordre mais la situation aurait largement pu être évitée, sans rancune ! L’emplacement est super je recommande pour 1/2 personnes.

Great Condo!

This was a great property for our visit to Quebec City! Easy to work with Anne who was always available to answer questions. While we loved the condo, the location was on a very busy avenue (we're talking 18-wheelers passing by frequently) and tended to be quite loud in the 1st level space. This is in part due to it being very hot during our visit, requiring us to keep the windows wide open (the bedroom was air conditioned.) That said, the location was also perfect in that it was in easy walking distance to centre city and the waterfront, plus free parking was included. All in all, a great place to stay!

Appartement idéalement situé

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l’appartement d’Anne, dont la situation est idéale pour parcourir à pied Vieux-Québec, avec une place de parking incluse à deux pas de l’appartement qui est très appréciable. L’appartement est vraiment très agréable, bien équipé, lumineux. Lit excellent dans la chambre. Lave-linge et sèche dans la salle de bain. Un séjour absolument parfait vous attend si vous êtes deux ! (Attention toutefois si vous êtes plus nombreux car le canapé-lit n’est vraiment pas en grande forme et le couchage dans le salon ne peut être considéré comme de qualité.) Nous reviendrions avec joie dans ce logement pour un prochain séjour à Québec.

Close to the action

Short walk to the action and to neighbourhood amenities. Apartment was clean, but not CLEAN. Some dirty dishes in cupboards, and dust bunnies hiding out (my wife started to dry her hair and we witnessed a show with the sunlight streaming in the window) Host was responsive to emails. No problems. Would visit again

great location

We very much enjoyed our stay in Quebec City. The property is very well located. Unfortunately there was a heat wave during our stay. The A/C was located solely in the bedroom, and was quite loud. The bed was also very firm. As well the two windows on the one side of the building really didn't allow for much air flow. Additionally since my partner was working from home he had to keep the windows closed much of the day due to the extreme noise from the heavy traffic on the street. We purchased a fan so that we could get a little fresh air into the apartment as often it was over 5 degrees Celcius cooler outside the apartment than in once the heatwave passed, but a second room cooling unit in the open living room would be necessary to deal with the extreme heat in the unit. The apartment is very well appointed otherwise and with a little improvement to these situations could be extremely comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay and apprectiate the owners flexibility and ease of check in.

Nice location, right in old town Quebec City

This is a very clean and comfortable property. The location is amazing, right in the old town of Quebec City. We gave it 4 stars because the apartment is very old and there is no central AC in the building. There was a heatwave when we were there and it was uncomfortable. The host has an AC in the bedroom but it was very noisy :( Also, if you are travelling with young kids, this place may not be for you. The host is very particular about how you should use her property and there is a big list of how much her belongings cost in the apartment. There are many notes around the apartment on the furniture. If you have kids who may spill juice Around, you may end up paying $500 for bed sheets :)

Cute and clean apartment with great location!

This apartment was the perfect home base for my husband and I as we explored the city. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Having the parking included was so convenient too! There was a pizza place, Irish pub, and grocery store all on the same block for easy food options and all the sites, attractions, and restaurants in Old Town were all within a 15 minute walk! Would highly recommend this place!

Un logement au cœur de Québec city

Très agréable séjour. Le lieu est très bien placé et nous nous sommes régalés des activités du Carnaval. Le bus pour les chutes de Montmorency est au pied du logement, nous avons fait tout le reste de notre séjour à pied ! Petit bémol : Attention aux yeux pour ceux qui ont besoin du noir pour dormir...

Good location , good infrastructure

The room is well equipped. It is possible to walk to the metro station (even with snow). The heater works well. The sofa bed is reasonable for satisfactory. However, I still found it a little expensive for what it delivers. I believe it is a Quebec problem.

A relaxing christmas vacation

The apartment was perfect and good for walking to all the attractions in Quebec City. It was extremely well furnished (a big plus for all of the kitchen accessories!). Check-in was easy once we found the apartment (number 49 not 19!). We really appreciated the parking spot. Lovely Irish pub and pizzeria right downstairs. Anne was very responsive to all of our needs, and we had an excellent stay because of that. We highly recommend her apartment, even for 4 adults.

The Perfect Spot

We had a wonderful stay at Anne's. Situated in a nice area close to everything. It's a very short walk up to Old Quebec, Grocery store, Rue Saint Joseph, Rue Saint Jean. Communicating with Anne was easy, check-in was a breeze, parking was a plus. Apartment was very nice and clean, the bed was comfortable and the laundry option was nice to have. Highly recommended place to stay when in Quebec City.

Excellent Location & Atmosphere

Great location and good for walking to all the attractions in Old Quebec City. The appt. had everything that you need for a enjoyable stay in QC. We never had to use our vehicle. Could not be easier for check in and walking distance to area attractions. Great pizza in neighbourhood as well

Cozy and Convenient

It's such a cozy and comfortable place! It had everything we needed and all in a great and convenient location! I felt like it gave a great home-base atmosphere for all our day trips. It was a beautiful walkable (or bus ride-able) distance away from my conference and anything else we wanted. (Prepare yourself for walking some major hills if you've never been to the Old City before - we were surprised and our bodies let us know. But the apartment made for a relaxing recuperation location.) And the views were great! Loved this place! Anne was just a text message away and so wonderful to deal with. Really can't say enough good things about her and her property.

Lovely apartment near Old Town Quebec

One floor walk up to a nice apartment with a view across the street to a small Park. Walking distance to Old Town, though it is up some significant sloped streets to get there. Great restaurants on Rue Saint Paul without climbing up to the historic area. All in all a nice place to stay.

Conveniently Located

Near train/bus station and hospital, and short walk to taxi stand at train station. Short walk to Metro grocer, and to Rue St. Jean and old town. Would give 5 stars if, like other stay locations, owner would have provided some basic cooking needs (i.e. oil, coffee, tea, breakfast cereal) and a welcome basket to make me feel like a wanted guest. (Europeans are definitely better at this.) Didn't use parking nor laundry facilities... Some laundry soap is needed for latter. Electronic lock strongly enforced access times... Overly so, in my opinion. Enjoyed pizza (3 times) conveniently just below apartment. Seemed that owner was overly protective of assets, but maybe this is necessary. Not pleased with the long time awaiting deposit refund and months prior to stay when deposit was held. Better if deposit was taken at start of stay.

Classic apartment in Beautiful traditional building.

Set in a beautiful Quebec building with an interior that combines classic style and modern amenities. This was perfect for our short stay however would also be great for a longer stay. Very well equipped apartment in a location that was meters from he train station. A short walk either up to the city on foot or via the Faniculaire brings you right into the heart of Quebec city. The property owner was very approachable and helpful, the apartment was beautifully clean, the shower pressure is good and it has laundry facilities which we greatly appreciated. If we are every lucky enough to visit Quebec city again we would definitely contact Anne to stay in her property. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Neat, clean, and great location

wonderful spot...easy to walk down Rue de St. Paul past art galleries, coffee shops and more while making your way to lower town, the port, etc. The condo was immaculate and comfortable.

Very convenient location, parking is a bonus and close by. Easy walk into heart of old city from the property, lots of places to eat/drink close by, along with a good supermarket.
