Rainbow Ridge Farms ~ Farmstay Bed and Breakfast

Welcome to Rainbow Ridge Farms Bed and Breakfast. We are a licensed, inspected, and have been welcoming visitors from all over the world since 1996. Our working farm has a herd of dairy goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, cats and dogs. You are welcome to help with milking the goats and collecting the eggs. In the spring and summer, we have lots of baby goats to snuggle with. Most of the animals are outside, however, we have an indoor dog that we rescued in 2017. He's a Maltese and loves to greet you.

Look no further

Cindy and Donna are wonderful, funny, welcoming hosts, as are their 50 + goats, the llama, the cuddly cats, and the playful pups. Breakfast was sublime; the accommodates, friendly and comfy. Hope to be back SOON!

Lovely laid back stay

This is for sure a working farm with hosts at ease with themselves and their guests. We had a lovely time serenaded by farm and wildlife.

Slice of heaven

The best way to summarize our experience is the fact my 8-year-old daughter had tears in her eyes as we were leaving as she was already missing the farm. I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed this getaway. Cindy and Donna are incredibly kind and patient and are excellent teachers. My daughter learned so much, including a beginner education in farming. We enjoyed helping out with chores each day (in fact planned our outings around chore time since they were so fun). We walked to the monkey tree each day and all the goats (and even mama llama a couple of times) joined in. Cindy and Donna are experts in the area and gave great recommendations for meals. The wifi was excellent so we were able to attend school virtually when we were there. Thank you both for a wonderful adventure! We highly recommend this place!!!

Country Relaxation

Great place to unplug and enjoy nature. Beautiful surroundings, very laid back. Participate with the the animals if you want or don't, no pressure. Close and easy to LaCrosse for added small town adventure. Clean, warm, inviting farm house, and wonderful breakfast. We appreciated the little fridge and microwave to bring back leftovers. Hot cocoa on the deck overlooking the little pond at night a treat. The kids and I enjoyed a daily hike up to monkey tree to hang with the goats and watch the sunset. Unique place to stay, great value, highly recommended!

Real Deal Friendly on Real Deal Farm

Cindy and Donna are wonderful hosts and graciously open the farm experience to their guests and MANY in their community. They own a piece of heaven by anyone's measure. The house accommodations are comfortable and well-maintained. The fresh breakfast is generous as is the friendliness of the environment. It's a real find for this city lady needing a farm fix!

Cleanliness?!? It’s a hobby farm! Lol.

We had a great time and Cindy was very accommodating. We had a race and she left out bengals and had coffee ready in the morning!! (We left earlier than usual). We had a wonderful time and it ever staying in the area again we will definitely be booking with them!

Channeling My Inner Farmer

What a beautiful house and property. It is a working farm, so take appropriate footwear. There are a lot of sweet dogs, cats, and birds roaming around the yard, and I had a blast milking and feeding the goats. There are other animals too: miniature donkeys, llama, calves, pigs, chickens, etc. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, and Cindy & Donna were gracious hosts. I will definitely be going back.
