Graduation weekend celebration

The house, property and location were amazing. My expectations were exceeded in every way. Communication with host and check in was very easy and convenient. The house is beautiful, clean and up to date. The views from the windows and balcony were gorgeous. It had the space and amenities to comfortably accommodate our large group. Our family had a wonderful time. Definitely worth every penny.

Perfect family weekend spot

A beautiful home in a beautiful location! Everything was comfortable and clean, and just as pictured/described. We loved the game room, the big gathering areas, and of course the beach out the back door. A magical mini-vacation for our extended family!

Relaxing stay at a beautiful house

This is a wonderful rental on Lake Ontario! Our family was in the area for the Eastern Zone Swimming Championships and found this location to be an easy drive to the pool and convenient to groceries and restaurants. The house itself is beautiful inside and out and well equipped. The spacious rooms gave us plenty of room for downtime and the wonderful kitchen/dining area and game room facilitated some rousing competition! Our kids even took advantage of some lake cold plunging (in March!) This is a wonderful spot, and I can imagine a great find for year-round activities. Hoping to stay there again next year for the same purpose!

Awesome place

This place was perfect for a hockey tournament at lakeshore hockey arena with a short 5 min drive. It is in a perfect location close to many stores and restaurants. Host was very easy to reach and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return in the future ! Thank you again

Great House

It was our 2nd time renting from Jennifer, we live in the area but purchased a weekend for mom/dad/grandma and grandpa as a Christmas gift, they enjoyed themselves very much, they love to be with the family. Grandma worked on her 1000 piece puzzle, lots of euchre and great food. A weekend to remember and the house and owner are GREAT! Even had her dad give me a call while we were there to make sure the driveway was plowed and we were all set with everything! Highly recommend.

Perfect place and view for a friends weekend

Perfect size home and space for a girls weekend. We all had our own bedrooms and beds, but best of all was the open floor plan, kitchen, living room and dining area. The view of the lake and beach is spectacular. We were there in early December and what a treat to have a holiday tree all set up. Highly recommend!

Special Thanksgiving

We had 3 generations staying at the house and there was something special about the stay for everyone. Being able to have thanksgiving dinner all sitting at the table was like having it at home. The stay was amazing and relaxing. The house has everything we needed and then some. Hope to come back!

Friends weekend!!!

Loved loved loved this lake house!!! So much fun!! The weather was cool and a little rainy but the views were amazing!!! The pinball machine was a huge hit with everyone!! We even had a competition of which one of the 12 of us could get the highest score by the end of the weekend!! Loved the covered porch upstairs, sitting area inside master bedroom!! Property manager and owner of the property were great with communication and checking on our stay if we needed anything! All of us are trying to figure a date to come back!!

Awesome Beachfront Property

The property is exactly as described and comes with everything you need away from home. We were a group of 10 enjoying the golf in the Rochester area and the house worked out great. We would definitely come back in the future and a few of the guys are planning family trips as this property would be amazing for families as well.

A true gem

It is wonderful that the McKnight’s share their beautiful beach house for others to rent and use. Gorgeous home on a perfectly serene patch of Crescent Beach. Great property

Overall we had a great time! Just minor annoyances like no lighter for the grill with a broken ignitor, the pinball machine having a defective bumper, and having to call in a broken circuit on the master bedroom outlets. But the house was well equipped, instructions and expectations well documented. Would definitely book this house again!

More than we hoped for!

The house is absolutely beautiful. Elegant, cozy, and family-friendly all at the same time. We had two families with kids staying here and we loved some of the amenities we wouldn’t even have thought of…multiple refrigerators, two dishwashers, the outdoor shower to hose off sandy feet…so many extra touches that made vacationing with a group so much easier! The game room was a hit with both kids and grown ups. As fabulous as the house is, I have to say the property is even better. It has to be the prettiest piece of beach on the lake! A few trees for shade, shallow water so even younger kids can play and swim easily, and a huge stretch of sand for yard games. We also brought our own kayak and paddled down the creek into Buck Pond, though I don’t think we would have fit under the bridge with a canoe. Our days were full of fishing, swimming, sandcastle building, treasure hunting, game playing, and even some relaxing. Thank you for sharing your beautifully and thoughtfully appointed home with us. It was just perfect. We can’t wait to return!!

4th year

This is the 4th year we have rented this property and we have it rented for next year as well. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Jennifer (owner) is very easy to work with and very accommodating. Richard (property manager) is as well. There was a short term power outage at the property while we were there and Richard notified us of it before we even knew the power was out. The house and yard is always clean when we arrive and there has never been any surprises.

Family Beach vacation 2023

This is our second stay at this beautiful beach house, and once again, it was exceptional. The property is in perfect shape, the accommodations well appointed & stocked, the location outstanding. Such a fun vacation for both the adults & kids! There was one little glitch with obtaining the access code, but it was quickly rectified & apologized for. Feedback from the adults, "It was perfect!" Better than the listing

This house was the perfect fit for our needs. Plenty of space to spread out. It was a little cold to swim, but the kids enjoyed the sand. It is very close to other attractions. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
