Very good chalet, very good location

Very nice chalet, very comfortable, well located nearby the bottom of the ski slopes of Gerardmer resort. We had a lot of space for 8 people, 2 couples with 2 children each of 7/8 years old and 11/12 years old.

Very nice property and location

As a family of 5 the property was a great size/very spacious/nearly new condition and in a lovely elevated location with a view over Gerardmer. Lots to do in the area as a summer ski resort. The check in process could be simplified by providing a code box for the key. Instead we had to call and wait for the check in manager to arrive despite already agreeing an arrival time. Also, bedding and cleaning were extra costs which should be made clearer when booking. However overall a great stay and we would recommend.

Super vacances dans un bel ecrin

Avons passés deux semaines dans un superbe endroit aux pieds des pistes. (10 petites minutes à pieds avec la poussette et bébé) Chalet très confortable, spacieux, bien équipé, rien ne manquait situé a l orée de la foret avec de temps en temps la visite de chevreuils et aussi un superbe renard. Bien accueilli par la conciergerie ainsi qu un propriétaire bien a l écoute. A refaire.

Summer stay

The house is beautiful with a nice view of the valley below and sunsets. It's located on a short (for some maybe a little strenuous) walk from downtown Gerardmer. The garden has different spaces for sunbathing but also enough shade when too hot. The house was cleaned very well when we arrived, and the caretaker was right on time to hand over the keys on arrival, same on departure. We had a very pleasant stay!

Chalet magnifique Superbe emplacement Par contre le propriétaire n étant pas sur place il n’y peut rien mais … le nettoyage n était pas fait … les draps et serviettes sont arrivés à 21h30 donc les trois enfants de 1 an 2ans et 3ans ont été dormir sans douche et sans draps … nous n avons vu personne ni pour la caution ni autre de toute la semaine

Comfortabel huis

We hebben met ons gezin een fijn verblijf gehad. Er is een goed uitgeruste keuken, waar gelukkig ook wat basisproducten aanwezig waren (afwasmiddel, koffiefilters, peper zou suiker, etc). De openhaard werkt heel goed en is eenvoudig in gebruik.

Le chalet est très bien placé au calme . On peut descendre à Gerardmer à pied en 10mns . Le chalet est très agréable, et très bien équipé . Spacieux et chaleureux. Nous reviendrons certainement l’hiver .

Beau chalet dans cadre naturel

Le chalet et la terrasse/jardin sont spacieux. Tout est très confortable. Et nous avons apprécié l’équipement assez complet. Il est toutefois situé un peu loin du centre ville pour s‘y rendre à pieds. La voiture est nécessaire. Par contre en hiver, c‘est tout près des pistes.

Woning op mooie locatie met potentie

Over het algemeen een prima indruk: sfeervolle, gezellige woning met ruime slaapkamers, zeer volledig uitgeruste keuken, heerlijke houtkachel en prachtig uitzicht. Wel enkele verbeterpunten: een douche in de badkamer boven (alleen bad) en tweede apart toilet zou fijn zijn. Nu is het alleen mogelijk om te douchen in de badkamer die aan de slaapkamer beneden grenst, dat is niet erg praktisch. De indeling (m.n. boven) zou handiger kunnen. Ook is het niet handig dat wanneer er 2 mensen hebben gedoucht en 1 in bad is geweest het warm water op is (voor een 8 persoons huis en met 5 mensen die na het skiën zich willen opfrissen). Communicatie over het gebrek aan warm water met de beheerder ging moeizaam. Verder kon de schoonmaak beter: het was stoffig, de badkamer vloer boven was niet goed schoon gemaakt en er lagen muizenkeutels op de kast in de keuken. Tot slot werden wij verrast dat wij bij aankomst (na een halfuur wachten op degene die de sleutel kwam brengen, hoewel we van te voren hadden gebeld hoe laat we er zouden zijn) een borg en extra kosten moesten betalen. Dit was van te voren niet gecommuniceerd.

Belle habitation, aménagement de qualité, environnement superbe. Pour obtenir un 10/10,un deuxième WC séparé serait le bienvenu ainsi qu'une deuxième douche en lieu et place de celle de la baignoire qui reste difficilement utilisable.

Schönes Haus, leider mit Mängeln

Bei Ankunft erwarteten uns gleich einige unschöne Überraschungen: - Lage sehr hoch oben, etwa 400 m Höhenunterschied zum See. Wege/Straßen sehr steil, zu Fuß hinunter an den See mindestens 30 Minuten, zurück nach oben zu Fuß oder mit Fahrrad nicht zu schaffen. Vielleicht für gut trainierte Sportler, aber nicht für normale Urlauber. - Die Beschreibung "Seenähe" ist bei solchen Gegebenheiten irreführend, man kann ihn nicht einmal sehen! - Bauarbeiten an der Außenanlage Haus gegenüber: einige Tage lang Steine schneiden, Baggern, An- und Abfahrten LKW usw. ab 7 Uhr morgens! Sehr ärgerlich! - Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig: Das WC war nicht ordentlich gereinigt, in allen Räumen Staubschichten auf den Möbeln und auf dem Boden (Erklärung des Verwalters: stand vorher leer, letzte Reinigung war vor 1 Woche), dicke Spinnweben und Mäusekot auf der Terrasse. - Wäschepaket war bestellt, wurde aber erst später auf Nachfrage geliefert. Bettwäsche in Ordnung, Handtücher haben so unangenehm gerochen, dass sie erst nach zweimaliger Wäsche zu benutzen waren. - es wurde eine höhere Kaution verlangt als angegeben - es gab kein Warmwasser, Verwalter musste erst die Anlage einschalten, Duschen erst nach 3 Stunden möglich - die Terrassenausstattung mit 2 Liegen (bei 4 Schlafzimmern!) ist für einen Sommerurlaub nicht ausreichend Positiv: die umfangreiche Küchen- und Geschirrausstattung. Schade nur, dass die Nespressomaschine nicht erwähnt war, man kann vor Ort keine Kapseln kaufen. Empfehlung: genauere Beschreibung der Gegebenheiten, WLAN / Internetanschluss einrichten (sollte heutzutage zur Standardausstattung gehören).

Excellent séjour !

Chalet très agréable, confortable, bien placé non loin des pistes. Joliment décoré, parfait pour huit personnes. Bcp d’espace et de commodites : retour de ski, garage...etc. Séjour très réussi, grâce aussi a la neige et au soleil abondants cette année dans les Vosges. Suggestions de détail : renforcer l’éclairage des pièces de séjour et étoffer un peu le mobilier des chambres : tables, chaises. Au total une excellente location !
