Gorgeous cottage in Gobles Grove, Port Elgin, a small beach community located in the popular town of Port Elgin. We are located directly across from the beach with a private path that we own, giving you direct access to a quiet, sandy beach that is a 30 second walk away. The beach is clean and has a walk in entry and is perfect for swimming and playing for children of all ages.
The cottage itself has 4 large bedrooms with closets and dressers, a private hot tub, new outdoor shower and huge backyard! We use the cottage ourselves as a second home so it is well appointed and maintained. It is beautifully decorated with a mix of new furniture and antiques and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances that you need including a Kuerig, coffee maker and a crockpot, among all of the regular kitchen essentials. You need it-it's there! There is an AC unit and a ceiling fan upstairs to keep you cool on those hot summer days. The cottage was recently renovated with new paint, light fixtures, mattresses, pillows, comforters, dishes, glasses, etc. It is decorated in crisp, clean, modern, cottage style with a soothing, relaxing colour palette. You will find that it doesn't have that "tired" look and smell that some older cottages have. The cottage has everything that you need for a relaxing holiday in paradise! We even provide a games cupboard and DVD player for your family to enjoy on those rainy days or evenings. Just bring your clothes, towels and food and get ready to relax and enjoy our piece of paradise on Lake Huron!

Port Elgin is known for having clean beaches and water, beautiful sunsets and great shopping downtown. Go to the main beach on Wednesday to experience the flea market and Sunday night concerts. Minutes from Historic Southampton, with gorgeous beaches, a museum, famous bake shop, Jerry’s Fries and wonderful shopping. Tobermory, the caves and the ChiChiMon are an hour away while Sauble Beach and Owen Sound are 30 minutes away-there's so much to explore in the area! Enjoy a beach get away, swimming or boating on the quiet waters, fishing, watching sunsets, building sandcastles, exploring nature and walking along kilometers of sandy beaches-you won't be disappointed!

Great Beach

A very short walk to a wonderful sandy beach that is just far enough away from the main beach to keep the crowds away. Cottage is as described and the hot tub is fantastic! We had a great week with no problems at all.

The location is perfect. The beach that is across the road. Can’t complain when you can do a work lunch at beach! Hot tub was just what was needed after a day of hiking at MacGregor Point Provincial Park. Beds were comfy. Night sky either chilling in hot tub or sitting down at beach was amazing Port Elgin has some nice little shops (Cheese Haus is fantastic). The Olive Oil shop and the indoor mall is are nice little stops in Southampton

Wonderful location

Highly recommended! We had a very nice time at this cute cottage. We really like the location, only a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach. Our children really enjoyed the trampoline in the backyard. The kitchen was also very well equiped. 2 downsides: the washing machine could not be used and we learned about the cleaning fee on site (not mentioned at the booking)

Beautiful spot just steps from the beach

We stayed here with another couple and our two young sons and had a blast. The cottage itself is clean and beautifully decorated with modern amenities inside. The yard is big and private, with a hot tub, fire pit, and a trampoline our boys couldn't get enough of. The cottage is a very short walk to a quiet beach. Don't miss the Huron sunsets. Highly recommended.

We have spent hours upon hours renovating it, making it the perfect escape for our family and to share with our guests. We know that you'll fall in love with the area and will create amazing family memories, as we have over the years.

The proximity to the sandy, clean Lake Huron beaches can't be beat! Walk out your door and down the path to enjoy a day at the beach or pop down to watch the sunset before settling in for the night. The hot tub is private and accessible out the back door...a perfect way to end a perfect day.
