UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL "BONNE-VIE at SEA"<br>

Hi there and welcome to our Bonnie -vie! She's anchored about 3/4 mi from the base marina in a beautiful cove. The BOAT STAYS anchored. I'll be there to take you out to the boat, and get you settled in. We would like to say, that we've really put a lot of effort into making your stay as relaxing and fun as possible! the boat isn't perfect, so if you're a picky, or high maintenance, sort of individual, this may not be the adventure for you. The Hilton or Marriott down the road, for three times the price, should have availability however.) It's been our observation, that this adventure has been best suited for kids 60 years of age and under. We ask that you**Please call** if you have any questions !! The wildlife is jaw dropping, and often times you'll have manatee or dolphins stop by for a visit! The boat is stocked with everything you'll need) coffee maker, coffee, filters, water, seasonings, olive oil, etc... You'll have a smooth running generator to power everything (8hrs run time/day) and a propane grill to cook up your favorite steak or lobster! There is running water with a shower (not heated). Fishing off the back has proven to be super, for the rite fisher person of course. For a little more money, we have several motorized dinghy options available for you that make back and forth easier, and exploring super fun! Please see pictures in description. there Is a dbl kayak included for exploring the area. Thanks so much for your interest! We really look forward to seeing you soon!! Thanks and have a great day !! *The address is 299 Morris Ave Pelican Kay Campground *. **ATTENTION out of COUNTRY GUESTS ** as we pride ourselves in a clear line of communication, it is expected in return from our guests as well. Couple days of sunny paradise

Enjoyed a couple wonderful days enjoying this unique experience with my 20 year old daughter. We did have a couple challenges figuring things out on the boat (newbies!) but Mark was quick to help. I enjoyed reading and relaxing on the top deck while my daughter spent the days fishing in the kayak! She loved it and caught like 75 plus fish-crazy! And a nurse shark went right under the kayak. We travel to wellington Florida annually for horse show and can gaurantee that we will be back!

A great weekend away

My son and I stayed here to be near Key Largo and we had a great time. The views from the boat at night, at sunrise and sunset were amazing. The location just can't be beat. Mark as a host is bar far the most communicative host I've ever dealt with and he's taken the time to provide a lot of the items you would need when staying there. One thing I'd recommend is to pack light! I also recommend renting a small boat from Mark to make it easier to get back and forth from the boat to the marina. I also recommend taking the kayak that's included in the price of your stay to explore the area. Sitting up top on the boat and feeling the breeze with the sound of the waves lapping against the boat was great. Honestly I wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy it even more but it was a great time for us both. Some other things you will want to know: get there for check in during the daytime because getting from the Marina to your boat at night is more tricky. The bathroom has a camper toilet so I'd also recommend using the Marina for #2 :). But as long as your expectations are appropriate you will have a great time.

The Good Life on the Bonne Vie

My 16yr son, Ben and I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time camping on Bonne Vie. We fished, crabbed and kayaked all over the cove, saw a manatee and her calf swim right under our yak. Mark is a fantastic host, very communicative and brought us ice two days in a row and took us to the secret tiki, that was so beautiful! We had a great mom & son time!! Star gazing is amazing too. Mark's ad is very accurate, if you listen clearly to his instructions on how to operate the Bonne Vie, you will have a great time like we did! Highly recommend, we will be back!

Peaceful ocean getaway

My wife and I stayed here in March 2025. Weather was perfect. Mark was very responsive and made sure to accommodate our schedule. The boat itself is very nice. It’s anchored in a well-protected bay, so you have great views, but there’s no need to worry about anything. You don’t need to know anything about boats or boating to stay here. Some of the reviews mention limited generator time - I can’t understand why anyone found this to be relevant. There’s also a high powered inverter you can use to power things. We are going to come back next year for sure.

Spectacular Experience

Stay is exactly as advertised, the very first night we saw 2 dolphins playing around less than 25yards from the boat. Saw plenty of other wildlife as well, crabs, rays, nurse sharks, and a manatee. Fishing is fun with live shrimp right off the boat. The serenity of being tucked in a mangrove cove on a boat, living the liveaboard lifestyle is a very different way to spend a vacation.

Amazing Boat Stay!

We had the best time relaxing and exploring. The Bonne-Vie is just a short dinghy ride from the dock and it’s in a quiet, peaceful cove where we were able to watch wildlife from the boat and fish. The boat has plenty of room and Mark is an amazing host and gives you an intro to everything on the boat and is quick to respond and help with any questions. We loved watching the sunrise and stars from the bunny pad and going to the nearby small, secluded beach. We can’t wait to come back!

Great place

Mark is a great host and communicator, responses were always very quick and helpful, wonderful landscape, friendly and helpful neighbors on the other boats, perfectly located to discover Miami and the Keys. As stated in the description and other reviews, be aware that this is not a new boat. If you're ok with this fact, you'll love this place.

Location was excellent! Loved sitting on the deck in the sunshine! A manatee swam up to the boat and we got to see this wonder. We loved just being there and enjoying the nature. Host went beyond our expectations to make our stay wonderful!

Rustic but fun

My wife and I had a great time staying on Mark’s boat. The description is accurate, it’s a somewhat “roughing it” stay. This was a great stay, but would definitely be more enjoyable in cooler weather. The AC at night was a life saver, but during the day it was definitely hot. Sitting up top at night, feeling the breeze, hearing the water, and looking at the stars was wonderful though, and worth it. You definitely want some bug spray though.Mark was always quick to respond and help when needed.

25th Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 night stay on the Bonne Vie (which means "Good Life" in French). It was the good life for us - he was able to fish off the back and I read books on the front of the boat. When it got too hot we could jump in the water to cool off! There are lots of great restaurants to try in Key Largo and we took a cooler of snacks for the boat. There are mosquitos in the evening - but we enjoy camping (and there are always mosquitos when camping) so a little bug spray did the trick! Mark was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed - including a sweet anniversary gift! If you enjoy the outdoors and adventures then you will enjoy the Bonne Vie!

If you are looking for a great outdoor venture, love Mother Nature and want the best outdoor water experience, this boat is for you. It is like staying in an old cabin on the water and will discriminate the typical hotel stay. The fishing, kayaking to the tiki hut through the everglades to Manatee Marks Private Secret TikiHut! It will blow your mind!!! Traveling by way of dinghy to the Manatee Bay Beach was additionally, a fabulous, one of a kind experience!! Pick Manatee Mark’s Brian he’ll give you the best local restaurants an bars with bands and ask him about Cupcake Island!!!

It was unique. And beautiful. And just as described.

Wondering what to make of the mixed reviews on this one? This is a unique & beautiful stay, just as described in the listing. It's also NOT fancy, and NOT for everyone, also as described. My wife & I stayed aboard for 2 nights. I'm the rustic tent-camping type, and I loved it. My wife is the city-slicker type, and she did not. Both were as expected. We both agreed the location in a quiet cove was perfectly calm. We both loved sitting on the water thru the evening hours, just relaxing. I also loved the simplicity and no-frills aspect of the stay. There was a chair. And shade. Mark was early, kind and accommodating. Linens were clean. Generator fired right up to provide morning coffee. Who could ask for anything more? My wife. She's not high-maintenance, but she has standards. Like a standard flush toilet. And better bug protection. And real running water. And normal electricity. And... you get the idea. Day one was lovely. After that, she couldn't wait to get back to shore! So, you'll probably either love it or hate it, because it's just like Mark's description on the listing. If you like peace and don't mind rustic... If you have low expectations for your accommodations... If you're comfy sleeping in old boats or RV's... If you liked Mel Gibson's camper on the beach in Lethal Weapon... You'll love this place! If you don't... reread the listing. Thanks again, Mark, for a stress-free stay!

Camping on the water with million dollar views

We had a great time staying on the boat while down in the keys for scuba certification. Mark communicated with us well. We recommend adding the dinghy rental to your trip to get back and forth to land and to cruise around and sight see. The cove was quiet and very peaceful at night. We put the mattress outside and slept under the stars (and mosquito net, provided). For a no frills adventure, this was great for us! Thank you

Mini vacation

It’s like Mark says, the boat is not a hotel, she is Quant and rustic, quiet and peaceful with opportunity to fish all day long. Being on the water to absorb nature and the creatures of the sea was a wonderful experience. The owner Mark was very accommodating to our needs.

Boathouse life😊💗

Our stay was amazing! Our host was super friendly and communicated with us before we got there to make sure everything was good, as well as checking in everyday to see if we needed anything. He also suggested great places for us to eat. We loved staying on the boathouse and exploring on the dingy boat😁 this has been the best vrbo experience we have had! We will definitely be back. Thank you Mark!
