For the golfers, the Makai golf course and club is just across the street from this property. A mile and a half toward the highway leads you to the Princeville Center where you can shop at Foodland, grab your morning coffee at Coffee Bean, or get some dessert at Lapperts. If you're up for a hike, pack a small cooler and head outside for a walk or small hike about a mile east where you can find the trailhead that leads you down to Wyllie's Beach. If it's an adventure you need, try zip lining or horseback riding at the popular Princeville Ranch just about a mile and a half down Kuhio Highway. You also can rent a kayak or paddleboard to take out at the infamous Hanalei Bay. The north shore of Kauai is known for the most majestic mountains and beaches just in your backyard. Amazing Vacasa rental in Princeville

The property was extremely clean and we were pleasantly surprised by the diversity and number of additional amenities available for our use. From an extremely generous supply of extra towels to surf boards, snorkeling gear, and a wide spectrum of kitchen appliances, most of which appeared to be new. Our stay was truly excellent.

Perfect for Larger Groups

This rental was amazing. Very clean and well decorated. The office worked perfectly as a 4th bedroom for our daughter to use. The property was very quiet. We only saw a few other guest occasionally at the pool. Other than that, we felt like the entire neighborhood was ours. No issues with booking, arrival, or checkout. We would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a large, clean, updated home in Princeville.

Had a great and worry free time at this home.

Overall, had a pleasant experience. We had everything we needed. Pool was great especially for kids (grandkids). The place was clean, beautiful, nicely furnished and felt like a home away from home! Close to pretty much everything. I highly recommend.

Perfect Beach Home!

This home was perfect for our 5 adults and 2 kids! We found there to be comfortable beds, clean rooms, plenty of towels, laundry detergent, and a well stocked and large kitchen. The location in Princeville was perfect for us, about a 15 min drive to Hanalei bay and 30 mins to Kapaa. We received sweet Hawaiian gifts on our arrival. This property offered incredible beach amenities which included two surf boards, boogie boards, beach chairs, a large cooler, plenty of beach towels, and toys for the kids. We absolutely loved our stay here!! I can’t recommend it enough! We would love to return in the future!

A perfect stay for our family getaway!

We loved the location, the unit at Nihilani was wonderful, and the amenities were all there. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The condo slept our family of 5 adults and 2 small children comfortably. We got a lot of use out of the beach accessories provided, especially the chairs, umbrella and the beach toys were great for my grandsons. The location was private but also close enough to nearby attractions and amenities. All in all it was a perfect stay, we would highly recommend to others.

Not bad; not wonderful

Nice, clean space. There is a king, 2 fulls (not queens) and 2 twins. An air mattress with a hole in it is available as well. Cable/TV didn’t work and after 3 days, management responded then quickly fixed. A whole new box/router was needed and still that did not fix the Wi-Fi. Non-existent 90% of the time. We ran hard all day and coming back to catch up on emails and watch a movie would have been nice. Shared bedroom with the lanai needs curtains as the sheers don’t block any sunlight and it’s blaring by 6am. Liked that there was an ice chest and boogie boards. Couch could use a replacement as you can hear the springs when you sit and sometimes feel parts of them beneath you. Located on a corner backing up to the Main Street so not quiet when sitting out for coffee. Wish the location can be seen when deciding to book or not.

Amazing stay! More than we expected!

We couldn’t stop talking about how much we loved this property. We felt completely at home and taken care of by the owners. We had everything we needed. There were many places outside and in to relax. The location is great! Right next to walking path and golf course and close to everything. We will definitely be back!

Perfect North Shore Family Vacation Near It All

We stayed here for two weeks with our two teenaged sons. We loved the 2-level layout and big, well-appointed kitchen. Condo was impeccably clean and close to everything--Hanalei Bay, Anini Beach, Tunnels, Ke'e, and so much more. The road noise was the only drawback when sitting on the lanai, but the roosters added to the lively soundtrack. Wonderful vacation and condo!! We all had fun and had plenty of space to spread out.

Great home base in Princeville!

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious home! It was so nice to have three bedrooms so our family could spread out a bit, and the location was great. Only downside was a nosy neighbor and street out in front, but we were out exploring every day so those things were not a dealbreaker!

Thought of it all❤️

I love that what I forgot to bring this home knew. It was clean too to bottom. Warm welcoming Hawaiian macadamia chocolate. WiFi, laundry cubes, beach chairs, dishwasher soap, soap, shampoo, broom, so much more. Balcony and outside seating with candles❤️ Love it all!! I will come back for sure!

Perfect for our family trip to Kauai!

Check in and communication was a breeze. Vacasa was very responsive to any and all questions. I did have to reach out about things like garage code/clicker and pool access information. Overall felt well stocked and ready for us. We would stay here again.

Good home

So.. the home is lovely and defintely as pictured but there were a bit of downsides. 1. I got an update saying the dishwasher was out (fine no big deal, i can wash the dishes) but when we arrived it was actually the dryer that was out, which when you’re going to the beach every day is a very big deal. We spoke to someone 4 days later and the property manager didn’t even know the dryer was out (even though there was a sign on it) and asked who put the sign there. Then our last full day they immediately got a dryer in the unit (which really did us no good, plus it had been out so why couldn’t that happen before we got there?) But they did refund us $125 for not being able to use it. 2. The day we got in, another property manager (woman) just came in the house unannounced without knocking.. literally just used the key to come and talk to us and asked if we needed anything. While I understand this is your place, I would’ve expected a literal more privacy with my stay. That personally made us uneasy the whole trip. 3. The TV is hard to figure out (there’s 3 remotes) and all the fans/lights in the room are controlled by remotes, and 2 of the remotes were missing and 2 rooms didn’t have light the entire trip. 4. There is no lock on 2 of the screen doors. This isn’t a gated community and sticks were used behind the doors to use as locks. I would’ve defintely perferred a lock. That being said, it was an amazing house in a wonderful neighborhood. There are a lot of shops and a grocery store ahout 3 minutes away, the pool is amazing and everything is as pictured. The house could use a few updates but other than that it was a wonderful experience and a great place to be if visiting Kauai. None of those things ruined our experience. We had an amazing time, the beds were super comfortable, the bathrooms were huge, everything super clean. It was amazing!

Fine for what it was

The place was large and clean and the pool was decent, but I wouldn't stay here again. The kitchen was missing a lot of basic cooking utensils - measuring cups and spoons, vegetable peelers, spatulas, etc. The dishwasher was broken and poured water out on the floor when we first tried to use it - meaning we spent a lot of time hand-washing dishes. They did bring out a repair person but weren't able to fix it during our stay, offered paper plates as a solution and quizzed me multiple times on the phone in an accusatory tone. The appliance will probably be fixed for the next person, but greatly detracted from our experience. The location is nothing special - its not convenient to anything but the golf course. You have to walk along the road to access the beach as the walking path ends by the golf course, which isn't enjoyable with young children. It's at the intersection of two larger Princeville roads, and we had a lot of traffic noise, which was disturbing from time to time. The neighbor written about in the other reviews did come over to talk to us when we first arrived and asked that we not leave lights on at night, because they shine into her bedroom. The neighbors are smokers however, and we couldn't open our windows or sliding doors on the side of the unit that faced Ka Haku Rd., without smelling smoke most of the time. It helped with the traffic noise but not the experience. Communication with the property management company regarding different check-in or out times was poor - my inquiries through various channels were ignored and along with the dishwasher interaction was not enjoyable. Finally, the place is spartan, open and echos - more of an institutional feel vs. a home. The large plates and other decor are not appropriate for younger children, and we couldn't relax and just let the kids play while we were there. Overall, not a wonderful experience but I'm glad at least the place was very clean.

Nice remodeled condo

The condo was nice, the pool and jacuzzi were cool as well. Good central Princeville location, real close to Queens bath. The only downfall is the neighbors are a bit up in your business but nothing too crazy.

Beautiful Home

We had a great time and the home was beautiful. Dedicated parking for 2 vehicles only. Some items in kitchen missing like measuring cups, spoons, baking pans, etc. We will definitely return.

Do not stay here!

The neighbors are the worst. Not only did they constantly harass us while we were staying there...the woman neighbor exposed herself to our guests and young children and constantly used profane language. We not only shortened our stay due to the harassment that was unwarranted, we incurred change fees in our flights to get away from it all. Our stay in paradise turned into a nightmare. Not only did we pay for a stay that that we didn’t use and had to pay additional airline fees, the owners tried to charge us more. And now will not answer our phone calls.

Perfect for us
