So comfy, so cute!!
I love that this has everything that you would need for a vacation, even condiments and spices in the cabinet. We did a girls night and it was just perfect and cozy and we all slept very well in all three beds. This cabin holds so many more people than you would imagine.

Perfect location
We actually loved the cabin and the location was perfect! It was great for a small family! My kids could sled right in back yard which was a hit!

Basic but needs love
Small house with all the beds on the top level and the bathroom on the first floor. Not obvious from the posting. Loved all the firewood and wood stove. Kept the house warm but necessary to have. Kitchen small but well equipped. You could tell some renters haven't treated the house well. A broken bench and shards of glass on the floor greeted us. Fine rental in a pinch and loved the location, but won't be back.

Nice Location but...
The location in Government Camp is great. The cabin is dark and lighting is poor. The photos are bright but this cabin is not bright, you need all the lights on during the day and they are very dull and don't do much to brighten either floor. The cabin is not well kept and is full of cobwebs. The carpet on the main floor is dirty and stained and I doubt it has been vacuumed or cleaned for a long time. If it has, the vacuum doesn't work. The tiles in the kitchen and bathroom are dirty. I spilled milk on the kitchen floor and when I wiped it up, the paper towel was black. The bathrooms tiles are the same. The bathroom sink is badly clogged and shower drains poorly. A Vacasa maintenance employee came to the house on our second day as the kitchen sink, bathroom sink and shower would not drain. The kitchen sink was fixed and the tech attempted to repair the bathroom sink but it still would not drain well. The blockages are deep in the drain pipe and he did not have the tools to remove them. The shower drain was clogged with so much hair he gagged when he pulled it out. His effort did improve the shower but not by much. He tried his best and we were grateful for his effort. However, for 13 days we used the kitchen sink for hand and face washing and brushing teeth. My 10 year old fell of the bench in the photos. She fell backwards and almost struck her head on the bathroom step. I was facing her when she fell and she had been eating, not fooling around. I turned the bench over and it was missing one of two feet. This resulted in a height difference from one side to the other and caused the bench to be unstable if you moved. The Vacasa employee found the foot in a maintenance closet and reattached it. My daughter was scraped and had a bruised ankle but it could have been much worse. The bench is reflective of the cabin and its overall lack of maintenance. The oven's temperature regulator does not work: 450f is the same as 200f so good luck cooking with it. The cabin had the most poorly stocked kitchen I have ever seen...the only seasoning is salt; no spices or herbs here so make sure you bring them with you. The cabin smells musty so keep the windows open. However, the two largest windows on the main floor have no screens so you can't open them unless you want flies inside. Other small windows have screens but most are ripped and they are filthy. Would I stay here again, NO!

Cosy place with lots of space, wooden furniture and well equipped kitchen
Just off the main road running through the village of government camp, enough space for four persons

Just a Ski Crash Pad
If you are looking for a place to sleep, and that is it, this could be for you. It was very dirty, cobwebs everywhere, stains on the carpets, Pots & Pans timed out, switch plate covers missing on electrical outlets. Location was great but that was it.

Stayed a couple nights to explore the Mt Hood area. The cabin offers plenty of sleeping areas and space for the family to relax.

GREAT place OVERALL, poor communication and (claimed/mismatch) internet usability
The property itself is awesome, particularly if you like sort of a "rustic cabin" type of feel, it's got that, and TONS of "little amenity touches", almost everything you could need/want to cook, etc. On the minus side, the property-management company is VERY confusing to work with. They seem to NOT want to send messages in VRBO, about actual check-in information, instead using a one-off domain/site/email, to communicate that info (good luck if you don't have their domain listed as a "safe-sender"...). Also, they claim to have "usable internet speeds (I'll use ethernet/WiFi, for simplicity, since I'm a s/w and h/w boundary engineer). They have about 7.5/0.5Mbps, on average. This means, that *maybe* you can watch an HD movie, a single one, but that you cannot have a video-conference, no-way, no-how, unless you're using your mobile-device-data, instead of the WiFi that's provided. Anyway, I'd stay here again, BUT, I'd check WAY in advance, for the check-in info. I'd also ask that they HAVE THE FRONT DOOR SHOVELED OUT, that seems like a no-brainer, to me, having to dig in enough to open the door, and grab the shovel, is a PITA, IMHO.

Great location, cozy cabin
Can't beat the location, the cabin is comfortable and well stocked and extra beds are always a plus for us. There is still a problem with low level heating, and Vacasa customer care is not great as always, but we had it fixed after all, didn't affect our stay much. The blow dryer is not working, I am sure it can be replaced. We will come back next year.

Cute place, but cold
Very cute place, cold if you don’t know how to start a fire. Couldn’t get hear to turn on except for in the “master bedroom”. Other then that, very cute and homey vibe.

Loved this Cabin
The cabin is very cozy, with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a bed in the common area. Plenty of firewood to keep everyone warm in the snowy evenings. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need, it also has floor heaters if you like to take off your shoes. It was a perfect getaway location, only one block to the Huckleberry Restaurant and a local brewery, with a general store that was surprisingly large within walking distance. We will be back!!

Small cabin that feels bigger than it is
Plenty of space in this small cabin for a family of 4. Only issue was the bathroom, the light in the shower had no cover, the shower drain was clogged (luckily there was a plunger), and the shower curtain didn’t fit so water got all over the floor.

Best 4th of July Ever!!
My little family stayed at this location for the 4th of July weekend. We were looking for a place to escape the noise and commotion of fireworks. It was perfect!! Super clean, well stocked with a full kitchen, towels, bedding and more. It’s walking distance from everything in town so we were able to enjoy the eats and brews and shopping without having to worry about parking. The local eateries are great and the locals were more than welcoming! We had a blast at the adventure park, driving the scenic byway and exploring the local trails. What a gift!! Check in and out was easy and clearly explained. We would definitely return. Thank you!!!

Fun anniversary get away
We rode Timberline and Meadows for our anniversary weekend and this cabin was perfect for us! Super cozy place to come back and relax in after a full day of snowboarding. We pretty much walked everywhere if we needed food or supplies. Very centrally located to everything we needed. Definitely recommend!
