About this property
Country Church Converted into a Home by the Beach
Stay in an Immaculate rural church converted into a home with sights of South Kingstown beaches from your very own bell tower. Be able to sit on the deck at night or by a warm fire with friends or family. Get the benefit of being just minutes from the beach yet the privacy of seeing stars at night in a woodsy setting. Try one of our favorite ice cream shops down the street or a short drive to downtown Wakefield for Tacos or a local pub. Take the morning to surf and the afternoon to lay on the beautiful beaches of South Kingstown. Or hit the 7 mile bike path down the street from the property. There is plenty of parking for free at the house too! This house is perfect for large groups with plenty of room and top of the line accommodations.
3 Kings and 3 queen beds and 1 double bed helps accommodate your large group. Two living rooms... one downstairs and one upstairs in the old sanctuary. This is a property you don't wanna miss!

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren at this beautiful and unique property.
Lauren and Tyler are amazing hosts and are clearly excited to share their home. We were greeted with an overflowing welcoming basket filled with wonderful local products. Beach information and a thorough guide of area attractions, restaurants, stores, etc. had been left for us to get our bearings.
The house is spacious with lots of space to spread out. The bell tower was a special feature! The large deck and fire pits were perfect places to hang out together in the evening.
We truly enjoyed our stay!

About the host
Hosted by Tyler Nobis
We are Lauren and Tyler and we love opening up our unique home to guests to experience how magical the beach and countryside can be. We love to camp, sit around the fire and of course meet new travelers! We cannot wait to meet you!
Why they chose this property
I work in ministry so it is only fitting we would find an old 1906 church to live in. Hearing church bells was always a part of my wife and I's childhood and so we instantly felt like home when we entered the property for the first time. I love surfing in the mornings while my wife loves soaking up the sun on the big deck out back. We are confident you will love this property as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
Right when we entered the sanctuary/living room of this property we fell in love. The old tin ceilings, the woodsy feel of the area but the convienence of the beach makes this our dream home.
