Chalet Alyssum is an OVO Network property. It is a 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom chalet for 13 (max 12 adults) spread over 3 floors and 210m2 of floor space.

Guests searching for a stylish, comfortable chalet, in the centre of Le Grand Bornand, with good proximity to the ski bus, the pistes, shops, restaurants and bars need look no further!

The inside of the chalet isn't at all the same style or age as the exterior walls. Indoors, there are gorgeous brand new en suite bedrooms, and quirky contemporary design touches. The chalet has been completely and very well renovated, with attention to detail obviously high on the owner's priority list.

The main communal area including the dining area, kitchen and lounge with fireplace is spacious and bright. There are plenty of extra luxury facilities indoors and out, (ie barrel sauna, large jacuzzi, a treatment/relaxation space, TV room etc.) and even a flat garden — all within short walk to the centre of Le Grand Bornand!

This chalet really does have something for everyone: families will have fun, groups of friends can choose if they wish to eat in or eat out, non-skiers can be independent and find plenty to do, and skiers have great access to the pistes, hire shops, and of course après-ski!

Séjour familial parfait

A perfect family holiday getaway

Thank you Pierre and Sophie, we had an amazing stay over Christmas! Your chalet is beautiful and was perfect for a family holiday. The view from the living/dining area is stunning. It is a perfect location, very close to the local town so you can walk there and a short drive (for us as we had cars) to the slopes for the children to go sledding. Pierre was very helpful with any questions we had and gave us ideas of what to do and the best places to go for snow activities. It was just perfect, and we would highly recommend and hopefully return one day. Thank you!

Spacious chalet with modern amenities

Everything was clean and modern in this spacious chalet. The jacuzzi was superb after a day exploring the mountains. There are many spots to sit and gather together inside and outside the house. The location is really convenient, close to the resort center and nearby shops.

This chalet is exceptional.

It's located in the heart of the village with a fantastic view on the mountains. It’s a truly luxurious. Built with high quality and decorated it taste. And the kitchen is really very well equipped which is very rare for that type of rental. We truly enjoyed it and it was perfect for a large group. I highly recommend it. It’s been an exceptional stay and we couldn’t ask for more.

Le chalet Alyssum est une maison de vacances de rêve!

Le chalet est absolument magnifique. Pierre a pris soin de tous nos besoins. Nous y avons passé une semaine formidable avec nos enfants et deux autres familles. Le chalet est élégant et possède tout ce dont nous avions besoin (cuisine entièrement équipée, buanderie, etc.). Le chalet n'est qu'à une courte promenade du joli village, avec des restaurants et des magasins à proximité. Les télécabines sont à moins de 10 minutes de marche, ce qui est très pratique. Le Grand Bornand est un endroit merveilleux pour les familles avec des enfants, et le chalet Alyssum est une maison de vacances de rêve.

Lovely property very well maintained

Lovely accommodation, 10 min walk to the slopes, with the shuttle coming regularly. Very clean and every last detail was attended to. Washing up liquid, spices etc were provided, as well as tea towels, bun bags, tin foil...

Highly recommended!

We wanted a luxurious and clean accommodation with a beautiful view and this is exactly what we got! The scenery from the chalet is stunning. The house is equipped to the last detail. Pierre, the owner, was really nice, patient and welcoming. We did many visits around the area. We also enjoyed the breakfasts in the chalet, gazing at the gorgeous view, and in the evenings we loved our time in the jacuzzi and sauna. Bathrobes for the hot tub would have improved the exit, but it did not detract from our enjoyment in the slightest. Highly recommend to any family that wants a pampering stay.

Conforme à mes attentes.

Tout était parfait au chalet Alyssum!

Idéal pour un séjour en famille. Proche de toutes commodités mais également au calme, le chalet a répondu à toutes nos attentes (du bébé aux plus âgés). Accueil chaleureux par la propriétaire qui était disponible durant toute la semaine. Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux en famille !
