Upon entering the premises, there is a spacious kitchen diner and 2 separate living room spaces, one on the ground floor and one on a mezzanine level both with exquisite views of Galway Bay. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances. There is also a separate utility room containing a washer and dryer as well as plenty of storage space.
Downstairs there are 3 beautiful king size bedrooms, 2 en suite, one of which is a full wet room making it wheelchair accessible. There is also a separate main bathroom on this floor.
Upstairs there are an additional 3 luxurious bedrooms, 2 of which contain king size beds. The third and largest bedroom features 2 single beds and a large double sofa bed. There is also an en suite in this spacious room with a bath and shower. There is also a further full bathroom upstairs. All 6 bedrooms feature spacious wardrobes.
You can enjoy the amazing views on the patio that wraps around the house. There are large areas at both the front and the back of the house for you to enjoy the landscape. A note of caution for those with little ones that there is a drop at the back patio of the house which currently has temporary fencing for safety.
The house is perched at the highest point of New Quay village. The front offers amazing views of Galway Bay while the back features the special scenery of the Burren. In the village, a ten minute walk will bring you to Linnane’s Lobster bar in which you can enjoy award winning delicious food and drinks. There is a fish shop situated behind the restaurant on the pier in which you can purchase shellfish throughout the week from the local fisherman and fresh fish on the weekends. 700 meters away, you’ll find The Russell Gallery, a quaint gallery and coffee shop. Also situated in New Quay is the famous Flaggy Shore. This coastal walk will bring you along the Clare side of Galway Bay with amazing views of Galway City where you can enjoy a coffee and homemade ice cream at Linnalla’s Ice Cream Shop. Also in the area you’ll find Hazel Mountain Chocolate, The Burren Perfumery and The Burren Nature Sanctuary. New Quay is nestled in the Burren between Kinvara and Ballyvaughan half way between The Cliffs of Moher and Galway City.
