Log Cabin in Valley of the Sun at over 11,000 ft of Elevation. Completely Secluded but close to World Class Skiing, Snowboarding, Hiking, Fishing, Mountain Biking, Wildlife Viewing, Horseback Riding, Scenic Views, Showshoeing, ATV and 4WD trails.

Beautiful mountain views from the top of Colorado: High above the South Park Basin, the Valley of the Sun offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Colorado, only 30 minutes away from World Class Skiing and Snowboarding. During the winter 4WD, AWD or good snow tires may be required to go up the long driveway to the Cabin, there is no street parking. The main road is maintained year round by the county to the Driveway.

Best cabin ever!
We absolutely loved this cabin! The view can’t be beat and we’ve stayed in a lot of Colorado cabins! The cabin was clean, well stocked and peaceful. It was so quiet and serene out there and there was a lot of wildlife! One of the best cabins we’ve ever stayed at out west in the mountains! Thank you!

Short stay in the mountains.
We enjoyed a couple of nights in the fantastic cabin in the mountains. It was close to Fairplay for dining and shopping (especially if you are a South Park fan). The cabin was clean and spacious. Very private and secluded. The scenery and stargazing opportunities were amazing from the front deck. Great communication with the hosts. Would highly recommend. We enjoyed our stay, just wish we had time to stay a bit longer.

What a view
We stayed for our 10th anniversary, looking for a secluded spot with a beautiful mountain view and a peaceful place to relax. The cabin was a perfect fit. The location allowed for reasonable travel to places like Breckinridge and Mt Princeton Hot Springs. We enjoyed hikes near our cabin and saw incredible wildlife (a mother moose and baby, a bobcat, etc). Our property owner was attentive and eager to respond to any questions and concerns.

Working from a better view
Everything we needed, nothing we didn't. The hummingbird feeder was the busiest thing around for miles.... as it should be.

Cabin on a Mountain
The cabin was great. We even saw a moose one day while driving up the mountain to the cabin. Piece of advise: You may want to screenshot, or print, your check in information before you get there. You will lose service once you leave HWY 9. Once at the cabin, you may not be able to access anything online until you get logged in to the wifi. I was so glad I thought ahead, or I would not have had the code for the lockbox.

This cabin is cute and has a lot of room. Internet was ok for being up in the mountains. Only thing that could have made it better was some fans and maybe a hot tub

Cute secluded cabin close to Breckenridge
We were looking for something private and secluded, and this cabin fit the bill perfectly. The first morning we hiked the Pika Trail. Then we visited Fairplay and South Park Museum. Second day we drove to Breckenridge and up Boreas Pass for fall color. Evenings we relaxed with movies by cozy fire. Owners were very responsive and helpful with all our questions and requests. In winter you will need AWD, but we were OK with sports car convertible in Sept. I saw a moose on my morning walk

Great stay in the mountains
Beautiful house. High elevation was great for acclimatization for hiking. Great views! Long county dirt road to get to house is rough but very worth it at the end. Nice subdivision with hiking very close.

Amazing place
The pictures do not do justice for this property. The views are incredible of other mountaintops some still with snow in June. It was the perfect size for our family of four with an extra bunk room and living area downstairs so the kids could have their own space. We enjoyed cooking at the cabin as it is pretty isolated and takes a bit to get to from the main room but would have loved to know about the tabletop grill to take advantage of. We missed seeing more wildlife but enjoyed hummingbirds and chipmunks and hiking around the cabin. Kids would have preferred to stream movies but gave us the opportunity to play games. Beautiful cabin and felt like it fit our needs perfectly to get away from everything for a few days.

Beautiful cabin, great communication, perfect stay!
Words do not do this cabin justice, the views are immaculate, and the inside of the log cabin is very cozy. Jesus was very easy to communicate with so we knew exactly what we needed to do. Because of the snow, the driveway was completely covered and it was difficult finding the cabin, although I don't think this would be an issue once the snow melts.
