230 m² farmhouse facing the Cévennes forest

At the heart of the village of Branoux-les-Taillades, 15 minutes from Alès and 5 minutes from La Grand-Combe (railway station), farmhouse of 210 m² facing south, enjoying a panoramic view of the forest of the Cevennes.

On the ground floor, the living room (with original vaults in stone) and the fully equipped kitchen (oven and gas hob, fridge, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine) s' open on a large gravel terrace. Shaded by two large plane trees, the terrace is ideal for summer lunches.

5 bedrooms are equipped with shutters and mosquito nets overlooking the forest. They are distributed as follows: 1st floor: 1 bedroom with double bed with its private bathroom (bath and toilet) and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (possibility to make a bed of 180 with its private bathroom (shower and wc).
On the 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds sharing a bathroom (with bath) and 1 bedroom with double bed and en suite shower room (with shower). w. c. upstairs.
The 6th bedroom overlooks the courtyard. It is equipped with a double bed and a private bathroom (with shower).

Typically cevenol, the 7. 000 m² plot is composed of three terraces, which have just been upgraded. They will be perfect to relax to the sound of cicadas or play football. The grass will have repelled by spring!

- Several hiking departures are around the village
- Lake Sainte-Cécile Andorge is 10 minutes by car only. With its large beach and nautical base, it offers beautiful swimming.
- 2 splendid natural streams are nearby: Malataverne 20 minutes and Saint-Hilaire-de-Lavit 25 minutes.
- Slightly further at 45mn, you can swim under the Abarines bridge, visit the Bambouseraie, and Anduze, live this experience of the steam train to St-Jean-du-Gard.
- A panoramic view of the Cevennes reveals the Mont Lozère after a short walk of 25 minutes (20 minutes by car)
- A large space at the Pole Mécanique welcomes you to go karting (15 min by car)

Maison agréable

Le séjour a été très sympathique, hôte accueillant et prévenant avec des propositions de balades et d'activités. Propriété très agréable avec des espaces verts nombreux et ombragés (dont le terrain de pétanque). Piscine peu profonde (globalement adapté pour les enfants). Maison avec une chambre traversante et séjour/cuisine relativement sombre (encore plus avec la météo que nous avons eu). Nombreux moustiques sur le site qui nous ont impressionné malgré l'indication de l'hôte sur cet aspect. Il est important de rappeler la situation en centre village avec des maisons mitoyennes.

Très contente de mon séjour dans cette bâtisse plein de charme bien équipée maison très propre le dehors est parfait pour des enfants car il y a de l'espace et beaucoup de jeux baby foot...... On y retournera

Déçus par rapport à l'annonce

Maison spacieuse avec une bonne literie, une cour agréable et un terrain de boules sympa. En revanche, la maison et ses abords nécessiteraient d'être mieux entretenus et équipés . (mobilier disparate et de mauvaise qualité notamment les meubles de jardin et BBC). Le LV ne fonctionnait pas pendant notre séjour. En période de fortes chaleur, les chambres du haut non isolées et mal ventilées sont très chaudes. Celles du 1er étage sont communicantes (non indiqué dans la description) Présence de moustiques en soirée
