Secluded country charm in Lancaster County near HersheyPark attractions, the guest suite is one of two rentals available on the farm. Minutes from Susquehanna River Trail, Elizabethtown College, and historic Marietta. About 25 minutes to Spooky Nook Sports and Harrisburg Airport, and a half hour to Hershey, Harrisburg, York, downtown Lancaster, Sight and Sound, and Amish Country. Suite has private entry, queen-sized bed, kitchenette and pantry, gas fireplace, private bathroom w/shower, wifi, and SmartTV,

In-ground pool, grill, and fire pit available for your use. Adjoining powder room has claw foot soaking tub.

*The guest suite is separate from but attached to the main house via a common area. Please know you might hear some crowing and other animal noises in the early morning hours!

**Rentals permitted up to three weeks at a time, per zoning regulations. Longer rentals must have at least one day vacancy every 21 days.

***Queen bed sleeps two adults. We are glad to add one child to the reservation if your family feels you'll comfortably fit. Children older than two are an extra $10/night; use of (single) air mattress is a flat rate of $15.

We are approximately 30 minutes give or take to Chocolate World and HersheyPark, Hershey Med Center, Sight & Sound, Dutch Wonderland, Strasburg, York County, and the heart of Amish Country. Harrisburg International Airport is just 22 minutes away, and Elizabethtown College is 12 minutes from us. Nissley Vineyards is two miles down the road.

Our weekend getaway

Unaware of where the road was going to lead us. We pulled up to a very cozy homie atmosphere. The guest house accommodations were very comfortable and made you feel that it was a home away from home.

Perfect getaway

Our stay was perfect! The space was so cozy and comfy. Emily was super sweet and attentive. The highlight of our stay were the baby lambs born on our day of arrival and another set on our day of departure so cute! I would definitely come back here and recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway. Thank you.

THE BEST in Pennsylvania

If you're looking for a unique & cozy spot, this is it! Emily was so helpful and communicative. The barns, the animals and the guest suite were like a dream come true for me--- I didn't want to park in the city--- but this offered so much more than I expected. I even had farm fresh EGGS waiting for me!

Farm, River, History

The farm wonderfully served as a home base for exploring the Columbia/Marietta area along the banks of the Susquehanna. The apartment, connected to the house, but with a room separating the apartment from the main living quarters, was quiet, homey, plenty spacious, and as private as one would want. The hosts were very nice, very accommodating and welcoming. The farm is not far from Columbia, Marietta or Lancaster, and is on top of a hill with great views in every direction, and a good place for sky gazing. It was so much fun returning to the farm and all the animals - goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, and ducks - after a long day doing outdoor stuff, mostly hiking the trails along the river, and exploring the remnants of the 19th-century furnaces and other industrial history of the area. Walking around Columbia was cool too. It was a very fun place to hang out. Highly recommended!

Hershey getaway

The guest house was just as described. Very secluded the driveway is a long way off the highways. The bathroom is a bit small but it was adequate. The farm animals were great loved feeding the sheep and cows. They loved the animal crackers.

This one large one room property is tastefully decorated with an equiped kitchen and gas fireplace. It is on a farm in a rural location. Guests are invited to visit and feed the farm animals. The host is very helpful and accomidating. Be sure to get your groceries in town on your way there.

A quaint and quiet guest house out in the country.

This adorable little house was perfect for our two night stay. It had everything we needed and even though it was a garm, the rooster was very quiet.

Emily and Craig were the prefect hosts. Both were so very helpful. We went for a wedding and it was such a great alternative to the chain hotels in Hershey. I would highly recommend these accommodations!

Adorable guest house with friendly animals

The one-room cottage is perfect for one or two people. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the grounds well kept. Snacks are provided for the animals. The bathroom is a bit small, but it has the first handheld shower I have seen in a rental. I wish I had stayed 2 nights.
