SWIMMING
A 600-foot public swimming beach is located on the northwest side of the lake. Facilities include a bathhouse with changing booths and showers.

BOATING
Boats with motors up to 9.9 horsepower are permitted on the lake. Launching ramps and seasonal dock rentals are available. Boat rentals are available from a privately-owned marina on the south side of the lake.

FISHING
Good catches of bass, bluegill, crappie and channel catfish can be taken at Guilford Lake. A valid Ohio fishing license is required.

PICNICKING
Shaded picnic areas with tables and grills are located at various points around the lake. A shelterhouse is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

BIKING AND HIKING
Beaver Creek State Park Excellent trails for biking and hiking.

AREA ATTRACTIONS
Two public golf courses (9-hole and 18-hole) are located near the park. Eight miles south of Lisbon on State Route 518, a Confederate monument commemorates the surrender of General John Hunt Morgan to Union forces on July 26, 1863.

Zepernick Lake State Wildlife Area, east of the park on State Route 172, offers public hunting and fishing. Yellow Creek State Forest, off State Route 39, offers hunting and hiking opportunities.

The Professional Football Hall of Fame is located in Canton, 23 miles west of the park off I-77 at Exit 24. For more information of area attractions, call the Ohio Division of Travel and Tourism at 1-800-Buckeye.

Mark’s Landing on the lake
The patio overlooks beautiful Guilford Lake providing relaxing evenings for family and friends. The menu today has kept the "whopping" fish sandwich while adding many other seafood items, as well as steaks, pasta, pizza, and a large assortment of sandwiches.

Nice lil cabin in a wonderful area

We absolutely loved everything about this cabin. It was close to everything. This cabin has a lot to offer from games to play with kids, cornhole boards, kayaks, gas grill and washer/dryer. We stayed outside most of the time playing cornhole, grilling and just relaxing by the fire. We even used the pokers to make s’mores. We can’t wait to go back again.

Very nice cabin on the lake

The location and view are great we enjoyed kayaking swimming fishing and use of a pontoon boats from Mark's Landing great restaurants great food and wonderful views of the lake the cabin was on a slight Hill the upstairs Loft needs a queen size bed the cabin was well equipped everything we needed very relaxing

Relaxing Cabin

Beautiful cabin with excellent views of Guilford Lake. Cabin was fully stocked with necessities and the kayaks were a pleasant surprise. It was fun looking at the map artwork on the wall seeing hometowns of previous guests. Definitely plan to stay again!

Home away from home

As soon as we walked in the door we knew this place was perfect for us!! So cozy, warm and inviting. The cabin had everything we needed and more. My daughter and I stayed in the bunk beds and they were extremely comfortable! I had the best nights sleep!! We felt so special with the gift that was left for us and really enjoyed putting a push pin on the map. It made us feel like we mattered. We loved it so much we tried to stay another night but unfortunately it was taken but why wouldn't it be, this place was so great! Thank you to Aimee and Jerry for having us! We will definitely be back!

Winter escape

Very good. Great view of lake with beautiful sunrise and sunset. Room to grill and sit by fire pit. Suggestion: put more hooks and shelving in bedroom and loft for clothing.
