Your Pet Friendly Nest at the River 🌼🍹🎣 Bunk House & Sauna additional Fee

**Beautiful cabin by the Cape Fear River. **
We are 20 minutes to White Lake, 2 miles to LuMil Vineyard(2 miles) and about 12 minutes to Cape Fear Winery.
Come stay in our main cabin, 2 bedrooms, a loft with queen beds and 1 bath which accommodates 6 guests OR *ADD the bunkhouse for an additional fee and accommodate additional 5 guests.*
- Treat yourself with a sauna session in our brand new Sauna (additional fee per
day)
-Spend quality time with family or friends dining or having breakfast on one of the
three decked areas watching the magnificent Cape Fear River.
-Enjoy nature and the quiet majesty of the river lounging in our living area.
-Get in touch with peace and serenity while walking outside and watching birds
and wild life.
-Fish off of our private pier or kick back with your favorite drink.
No time wasted at the Rio Verde Cabin!
**Our rental DOES NOT provide Linens, towels, wash clothes. If you want we can add that service for an additional fee per unit. All guests have to leave the cabin like you found it.**
We are close to White Lake & Tory Hole Boat Landing and Park complete with walking trails.
We are pet friendly. Pet fee is $50 per pet per stay . Main cabins are gated to keep pets safe with you while you are enjoying yourself.

Perfect getaway

This is me and my hubby’s and our two dogs new favorite spot to vacation at for 2024. It’s clean and well equipped… felt like home… it’s was a lot of space for us but much needed space and peace for us all! Next time I’d love to enjoy all the lake house has to offer including the bunk house and invite family! I’d come out here once a month over the course of the year just for the clarity of nature. My new home away from home!

Getaway

I personally 10 out 10 recommend this little cozy cabin! This would be me and my boyfriend 3rd time coming here and we enjoy it everytime it’s definitely peaceful great view! We are definitely making this a twice a year type of trip 😌 only complaint I have is that I wish there was a bathroom downstairs other than that this place is amazing!

Great Place to Stay

We had a lovely stay. The porch over looking the river was my favorite place to sit. If you are looking for a place to stay when you are participating in the White Lake Triathlons, it is about a 20-30 minute easy drive. We thought it was a perfect place to stay.

Great Experience on the Water

We had a Wonderful time at Rio Verde, location is Beautiful and we loved the Bottom Decking. Safely was my biggest concern but the Dock and Walkways were secure and Perfect for Smaller Kids. We definitely will be coming Back to Visit Soon.

the dock is smaller that it looks, and its impossible to cast with the overgrown trees. this was disappointing since fishing was my sole reason for choosing this site. it was clean and well cared for. but a fuse blew and i had no access to stove or microwave for half my trip.

Was taken off guard by the owners at the location at check-in. Never had this happen before. The beds slept very bad. We did not get much sleep due to this. We even left a day early. And on the second day do to take my dog out and the owner and her dogs where there. Thought her dogs were going to attack my dog. And could not figure out why the owner was on the property I was renting. Did not feel like we had our privacy. And also after check I. She texted saying we owed her more money due to a glitch in the system stating we owed $50 more per dog and $10 per guest. Being I set up for 4 guest and only had 3. And on the reservation the information stated dogs. Not dog. So for her to say there’s a glitch this is not cool. We will not be staying there anymore. Thank you

Definitely one of our favorites!

We absolutely loved staying here. It was relaxing and exciting all in one. We kayaked on the river, relaxed and hung out under the cabin and on the dock, and fished. My favorite part about this rental was the outdoor shower. Overall, this was one of our favorite places that we’ve been, and we plan to come back next year.

Quiet riverside cabin

Loved our stay. Cabin and property were clean. 1st level chill area was super cool. Only trouble was unaware of dirt road to access cabin. We managed in my vehicle but just had to take it slow to get there. Would totally book again.

Couples trip!

I rented this property thinking each room had its own bathroom. It’s not 3 bathrooms! Only 1 small bath in the MAIN living area. Extra bathroom extra fees! Great location the outside shower was my favorite! Overall I would go again but not on a couples trip! Must have fishing licenses to fish!

I always enjoyed nature and building. I helped the original owners building this cabin and always loved it because of the awesome view of the river from the living area and the main decking.

What makes this property unique

The view of the river is just amazing. Waking up early and watching the fog on the river and sunrise with a hot cup of coffee while hearing all the birds singing and announcing the new day has no price.
