Property is just as good as advertised. My wife, who is very particular, loved it. Looking at the distant mountains from the hot tub was a great. Nearby Norton Cemetery is a treat for history buffs.
We were very happy with our stay. The property was extremely clean and well maintained. The views were amazing. The location was close to town and easy to get to.

Gorgeous views from home and beautiful, comfortable home.
We reserved the property in July and corresponded with the owner several times through the VRBO app. However, though we received the address, we never received the code to get in. The night before we came, which was on Christmas night, we had to call the VRBO help line to get the property owners phone number. We had left a couple of messages through the app, but received no response. I think we woke Stephanie up the morning we were coming to the property to get the code. This was frustrating and we had never run into this issue before in renting thru VRBO.. Our stay has been wonderful.

We fell in love with Highlands, NC, and less than a year from visiting, we decided to buy, as we knew it was a place we couldn't wait to return to. We fell in love with this 'little' house and the amazing views it has to offer, and it's closer proximity to some of our favorite shops, hikes, and restaurants. We can't wait to share this super special place with others :)
