LIVING ROOM:
The living room offers a stunning view of Prospect Mountain and Longs Peak. It features a large sectional sofa, comfortable chairs, and a cozy gas fireplace, making it the perfect spot for family time. The open-concept main floor has vaulted ceilings, breathtaking views, and elegant hardwood floors, ideal for entertaining guests. Stay cool and comfortable all day with our whole-house air conditioner, or step outside and enjoy the deck.

KITCHEN/DINING:
The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops, warm wood cabinets, and an ample meal preparation space. It comes equipped with stainless steel appliances and a gas stove. You'll find everything you need to cook a meal, including spices, condiments, oils, foil & baggies. Recycling is made easy with conveniently placed cans in the kitchen and garage. The dining area boasts a stunning antler chandelier and a "live edge" wood table that seats eight, making it the perfect spot for gatherings and creating memories. Additionally, the breakfast bar provides extra seating for three at the counter.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Relax on the deck with a book, or enjoy the night sky and mountain air. The deck has a gas grill and table/chairs. Look for wildlife, including deer, elk, bears, coyotes, chipmunks, turkeys, and mountain birds.

FAMILY ROOM:
The lower level has a cozy family room with a 43" Smart TV, comfy leather chairs, and a queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress. It also includes a second fireplace and a media console with games and toys for kids.

LAUNDRY/MUD ROOM:
The laundry/mud room, located off the two-car garage, has a full-size washer and dryer. Laundry essentials, iron, and ironing board are provided.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
All of our bedrooms feature soft, high-quality linens and pillows, alarm clocks, reading lamps, & a ceiling fan.

The Primary Suite on the upper level boasts a spacious King-sized bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress, a 55" Smart TV, and a fantastic walk-in closet. The private bathroom has a walk-in glass shower, his and her sinks, and storage space for your personal belongings. Enjoy the cool mountain air with the overhead ceiling fan.

Bedrooms 2 and 3 on the lower level have King-sized beds, side tables, reading lamps, and ceiling fans. Additionally, the family room has a Queen pull-out sofa with a memory foam mattress that can accommodate two guests.

All bathrooms have refillable shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap dispensers, hair dryers, makeup remover wipes, and organic feminine hygiene products. We also supply toilet paper and tissues.

The lower-level bedrooms share a bathroom with granite counters, a combined soaker tub/shower, and drawer space for personal items.

PRIVATE RIVER ACCESS:
3 Kings is just a few steps from the Big Thompson River. A half mile of trails where you can enjoy a picnic, spot wildlife, or fish to your heart's content (License Required). You can follow the path from the Property to Estes Park's best-kept secret, Coffee on the Rocks. This beautiful coffee/wine house is located by a stunning little pond, offering gorgeous views in every direction. You can feed the ducks, sit on the patio, and listen to live music while enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. If you're interested in gemstones, Dick's Rock Museum and the Red Rose Rock Shop are located right next door.

Fun family trip

This townhome was perfect for our needs. We had our son and 3 grandkids visiting and we wanted to introduce the grandkids to Rocky Mountain National Park. The location was so close to town. I have stayed in several other VRBO locations and I have to say this one had one of the best stocked kitchens I've seen. There were lots of games available. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise. Sara was so helpful with extra info I requested prior to our visit and the check-in process was a breeze. Beds were comfortable. Shower was awesome. Pictures were accurate. Would definitely stay here again!

Actually... fit for a King.

Our stay at the Three Kings Retreat was absolutely fantastic! The townhouse was impeccably clean, making us feel comfortable and at home from the moment we walked in. The property is beautifully appointed, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure a luxurious and relaxing experience. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the décor was modern yet cozy. Communication with the property manager and owners was seamless. They were always responsive, courteous, and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. It’s clear that they truly care about their guests' experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Birthday weekend in the mountains

Our 4 day trip to Estes was great. There was plenty of space for my husband and 4 boys. We did a lot of cooking at the house and the kitchen had everything that we needed--even some spices we forgot to pick up. The location is central and it makes it easy to get around town and into Rocky Mt. Park. The bed we slept in was very comfortable and there were lots of nice design touches! Great stay, we would do it again!

Great Vacation Home

This home is very nicely appointed, clean and very well equipped. The decor is upscale but comfortable. The minute you walk in the door, it feels like home. Everything you could need is provided. The home is spacious and bright. The location is absolutely excellent. Just a minute or two drive to town or the entrance to the park. My only compliant would be that the downstairs area is much colder than the upstairs. The thermostat is in the upper level making the downstairs at night, especially, quite chilly. Easily overcome with extra blankets provided.

A Delightful Stay in a Lovely Property

The Vrbo description of this property is accurate and on point. We stayed with our children and grandchildren, 4 adults and 2 children. The house easily accommodated us with king beds in each of the 3 bedrooms. It was well appointed both upstairs and down, which allowed us to enjoy shared space while easily preserving our bedtime privacy. This luxurious property enhanced our lovely time together in Estes Park. Highly recommend!

Fabulous stay! Highly recommend!

My husband and I along with our 2 kids (3 and 8) stayed at the property along with my parents and my inlaws. We all had enough room and our own space while also having great gathering spaces for when we wanted to be together. It was great to have laundry in the house. The kitchen was also stocked really well with spices, ziploc bags, condiments,and other things that you dont want to buy on vacation when you will only use a small amount. Bathrooms were also stocked nicely with shampoo, conditoner, and body wash. There were also cabinets with toys and things for the kids to play with which was great! Everything went very smooth. The neighborhood is fantastic. Easy access to RMNP, nice to walk along the river. Quick walk to Coffee on the Rocks to feed the ducks and visit the rock shop. Thr "extras" provided were also great with gift cards to coffee on thr rocks, mountain coaster passes, and extra snacks. I have absolutely no complaints and will hopefully return in the coming years.

Well-Equipped Home by The River

We found the home to be well-equipped, clean and kid-friendly. The kids especially enjoyed walking down the river to Coffee on The Rocks where they could feed ducks and put their feet in the water. My toddlers enjoyed the books and toys provided to play with too. The home is a short drive into town or into the park. And Sara, the property manager, is very responsive and helpful!

Family Vacation

We recently took a family vacation in Estes Park and stayed at Elk Ridge Lodge. The house was perfect for us! It is beautiful and there was plenty of room for all of us. Wonderful Home

My husband and I were traveling with our son, daughter-in-law and our granddaughter (soon to be 5). The home met all of our needs. Plenty of room to spread out. The home was neat, clean and well appointed - especially in the kitchen. We ate many meals in, and the kitchen had everything we needed, all we had to do was buy the groceries. Communication was easy between the owner and us. The location allowed for easy access to the RMNP and to downtown Estes. The owners thought of everything and we will definitely stay here our next time in Estes.

Quick getaway after Memorial Day

3KR pictures online matched what we found in person: an immaculate place that was perfect for my family of three. Cannot recommend 3KR enough! Outdoor days and indoor nights

We travel quite a bit, and this is one of the best stocked short term rentals we have been to. It was so thoughtfully stocked; there were plenty of pots, pans and decent knives for cooking. The couches were great for lounging and watching all the football games after long days and enjoying winter activities. The passes provided to enjoy the new Mustang Mountain Coaster was definitely enjoyed by my group and they were DIY decorate cookies provided for the kids as well. The thing that really impressed me was that the host had a stocked spice drawer as well as foil and plastic storage bags. My entire group loved the accommodations and I definitely recommend staying here.

Great choice overall

Overall a great choice if view isn’t high on your list. When booking I was very taken aback that after applying a mandatory $cash deposit, you get to check out to find yet another mandatory, and significantly higher deposit! (This second deposit can be replaced by a damage insurance policy). To give a complete stranger that much cash and hope they decide to give it back is quite a leap of faith. (In the end there was no problem at all being refunded). The house itself is conveniently located and well appointed. There was just the two of us so we didn’t use the downstairs at all, but the furniture in the main level was comfy and it was easy to relax in front of the gas fireplace. There is no local tv stations or Dish, but the tvs are Roku so if you have streaming accounts, accessing them is easy and convenient (don’t forget to sign out when you leave. The beds are memory foam as advertised. I was terrified at first because they feel extremely firm, but we were able to sleep fine with no morning discomfort. The couple times we reached out to the manager the response was fast, friendly, and immediately solved the few questions we had. Check out requirements are fairly lenient for VRBOs. Take the trash out, start the dishwasher, and put soiled bedding in the floor. Nothing out of line. The view is the downside if that’s what your shopping for. Out the front you have the cul-de-sac in a development of cookie cutter cul-de-sacs, off the rear deck is a string of trees hiding the highway that’s 100’ away. There were, however, elk wandering through or resting in the yard frequently. All things considered I would be happy to stay here again given the opportunity.

Best Townhome

This townhome is by far the very best place we have stayed in Estes Park. The benches at the table were convenient for playing games and eating to go meals. It fit our family of 6, and the family room has plenty of seating as well.

Hey, y'all!

Sara, our property manager, will take care of your vacation needs at 3KR, but here is a little about us.

We are Chris and Laura, and we would love to share our beautiful vacation home with you! We live in Dallas, TX, and agreed Estes Park would be an ideal location to own a home - we're thrilled to have Rocky Mountain National Park as our backyard! My wife took great care in decorating 3 Kings Retreat so that you can relax and feel refreshed after exploring the many wonders of Estes Park.

I (Chris) grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and after high school, I joined the United States Air Force as a Satellite & Communications Technician. After serving four years in the military, I moved overseas to a tiny island in the Pacific Ocean named Kwajalein. I served as a civilian contractor for the US Army for three years before moving to Dallas in 2008. I work in the concert/sports ticket sales industry and am a real estate investor. I enjoy golfing, traveling, and taking our son (10) and daughter (9) to sports games in my free time.

Laura grew up in Dallas, TX, and attended the University of North Texas, where she earned her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology. She provided therapy to public school children for many years before choosing to stay home with our children. She enjoys singing, reading, volunteering at our church and community in her free time, and watching the kids play sports.

We are happy to share this property with you and hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.
