The sunrise over Seneca Lake from this large A frame home are breathtaking. This newly remodeled, immaculate property features not only amazing views of Seneca Lake but two huge blue stone fire places, accommodations for up to 8 folks and all the comforts of a modern wine country vacation property. All new furnishings, floors, counter tops and finishes throughout. New leather furnishings in the living area. Enjoy outdoor living on the massive lake facing deck which has a sitting and dining area.

This property adjoins vineyards, woods, and farmland yet is minutes from your daily needs. Award winning wineries are less than a mile away, Watkins Glen is just over 20 minutes, Corning is around 40 minutes away and Geneva just 10 minutes.

Master bedroom features private bath with walk-in shower & king bed The second bedroom also has a king size bed and snappy furnishings; the third bedroom features a queen bed; and the fourth bedroom is also a queen size in a studio. The main floor modern bath also has a walk in shower. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa for additional sleeping capabilities in the studio.

All bathrooms feature walk in showers.

Another amazing weekend at this beautiful home!!

This was our second stay at this home. This time was to visit our son at Hobart for his 21rst birthday with family. The house is so beautiful and comfortable!!! We were able to do dinner in Geneva and wine tour following day and back to house for visiting around the fire and cards. We can’t wait to come back!!! Amazing home and great hosts!!!

Beautiful Location

We had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving at this property. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the views were amazing.Check in was easy and host was accommodating and quick to respond.

Fantastic location

Beautiful property with a gorgeous view of Seneca lake. Great location for the wine trail event! Very well stocked and incredibly clean. The only issue was an incorrect description of the bedrooms. The 4th is actually a sleeper sofa but the VRBO description says queen bed and sofa sleeper. However, we made it work for our group. Looking forward to booking in the warmer kings.

Couples Getaway

The location of the property was ideal for a fall getaway. Close to Geneva, a quaint town, close to many wineries and breweries and local state parks. The property was ideal for 3 couples. The house was comfortable and had many amenities. The kitchen could use an update but was adequate for our purposes. Communication with the owner was fabulous and his responses were quick and informative.

Finger lakes wine trip

Beautiful home, spacious for 8 of us (pull out couch for 2, could be updated). Close to all the wonderful wineries and took a trip to Muranda cheese barn, that was super!

Beautiful home in great location!!

What a wonderful weekend at this beautiful home!!!! Great hosts, great views, so comfortable and spacious!! We celebrated my husband’s 50th, did winery tour, and saw our son’s soccer game at Hobart. Best weekend! We can’t wait to come back!! Thank you!!

What a wonderful place to stay!!

We had a great stay in the chalet. It was very clean and had everything you would need. We didn't do any cooking during our stay but noticed it was well stocked. The hosts left a welcome gift which was very thoughtful and was a special touch! They also were very responsive to any messages. We enjoyed the deck with the beautiful views. Would highly recommend this property. Thanks for having us!!!

The views!!

Absolutely perfect. The house was clean and stocked with all the essentials, the beds were comfortable, the shower water pressure was great, and the view from the deck was amazing. We were three couples that spent the long weekend on some hikes, wineries, breweries, and soaking in all the beautiful scenery. Easy access to both Geneva and Watkins Glen. Would definitely stay here again.

Friends weekend

The property was beautiful! Plenty of room for everyone. The deck had a view of Seneca Lake and was perfect to relax and enjoy with friends. The owner was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Birthday Celebration 🎉

This was an amazing property. Great lay out for 3 couples to have their own space. Gorgeous view. Enjoyed sitting outside with a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. So peaceful. Great location close to good food and a lot of wineries. Had a question on first day and received immediate response from owner. Would highly recommend this property. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect Getaway

FLX Wine Country Chalet was simply put, PERFECT! The chalet was beautiful, comfortable, and extremely neat/clean. Jim and Deborah were incredible hosts. They even went the extra mile for my wife's 50th bday with balloons, decorations, and a bottle of wine to toast with. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be back!!

Graduation Getaway

We stayed at the Chalet for my daughter’s HWS. The home was beautiful and communication was wonderful. The views are breathtaking and the proximity to Geneva and wineries is perfect!

Great location and easy access to West side of Seneca and Keuka lake

Central location for 6 adults to enjoy the western end of the Finger Lakes. Easy access to wineries and restaurants. We used the house as a home base. We went out to eat, so we didn't use the well stocked kitchen. Nice views of the lake. Unfortunately the weather was cool and rainy so we didn't get to take advantage of the outside deck or firepit. Maybe next time!

Great Vacation house

The house was centrally located on the left side of the lake. We had enough room for the whole group. The hosts greeted us with a welcome sign ,flowers and a bottle of wine. 1st time someone went out of their way to do that for us. Even though we thought we would use it. They had a grill. We did use the fire pit. Great plus. The only negative. I would say. Get rid of the sofa bed in the basement and put in a day bed or trundle. Something more comfortable for the last of the guests. We would love to come back again soon.

Relax in the Finger Lakes

You can't beat the location of this house! Whether you want to explore Seneca, Keuka, or points further, everything will be easy to get to. The view of Seneca Lake from the deck is lovely, especially in the afternoon when the deck is shaded and the breeze is coming in. There's plenty of seating outside and inside, and our group of four adults was very comfortable. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and the central air did a good job of keeping us cool. The upstairs bedroom only has sheer curtains, so it's a little bright in the morning. The front of the house with its A-frame wall of glass provides so much light and great views, and is very bright in the morning since it's east-facing. The hosts provided everything we needed for our stay, including a welcome bottle of wine. They have a useful list of recommendations written on one wall in a clever chalkboard style. Note: in case this matters to you, there are no window coverings in the living-dining area, including the A-frame window wall.

Incredible view of Seneca Lake, very clean, great location

Jim and Debbie were fantastic hosts. Very quick response to questions. House is very clean and well appointed. Big Deck with lots of seating. Plenty of cookware and dishes. We were 3 couples and we had plenty of space and privacy. At the top of the lake, west side. Right off of the main north south road with plenty of wineries and breweries. There's even a brewery next door with good beer.

Long Weekend

Great location and wonderful view of the lake. I gave it a 4 star rating because I did not use the master bedroom or the lower level so cannot comment on those. The main floor was very comfortable. Wall oven - which I loved, plenty of towels and the bedrooms were well done. The deck is large and has comfortable seating. There were some confusing things in the online listing - one place said laundry facilities and another said coin laundry.
