Unwind on comfortable furnishing in the living area while watching TV. When it's time for a bite to eat, head to the well-equipped kitchen to make your favorite snacks and meals. Gather in the dining area to share these and highlights from the day. Step out on the private balcony for mountain views and fresh air. Relish in an amazing stay, one day after the other.

Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy being located near the slopes, just 10 minutes away on the complimentary shuttle. Come summer, golfers will have their choice of the Northstar California Resort Golf Course (two miles northeast) and Ponderosa Golf Course (seven miles northwest), among other nearby facilities. In warmer weather, you'll also be only nine miles northwest of Kings Beach on the shores of Lake Tahoe (a public boat dock is available) and 11 miles east of Donner Lake.

The loss of guest passes will cost the guest $150/pass.
This vacation home is not equipped with air-conditioning. Fans are provided.
This condo comes with two passes for you and your family to utilize the Northstar Property Owners Association (NPOA) Recreation Center; a $10 daily fee is due directly to the center.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great ski house!

The house was exactly what we needed. Our daughter was racing far west, the rest of us free ski and we have a dog. It was a great weekend away even though we live 45 min away. Had a holiday dinner with near by family. Loved the modern decor.

Clean, Modern and well appointed!!!

I have saved it in my places I would rent again. Good space with great WiFi, appliances and feels completely renovated. Not to be taken as a complaint, but if you are planning to hang around and not be out and about it has a large couch and table and chairs to works fine, but isn't a huge space.

Kitchen not functional and loft area dangerous for kids

Great location for North Star access with easy shuttle rides. Nice backyard area for sledding!Unfortunately, the oven and stove top didn't work, a high up window was open, the loft area was very high with a completely vertical ladder with low rails. None of the easy stuff was addressed during our four day stay despite asking for help. This was our first time booking with Vacasa and I didn't realize they would rent out such an unsafe and non functional place. The appliances are from the 80s or so. The washing machine and dryer work, but the dryer design is such that it burns yhe user if you remove items without letting it cool first. Maybe a good home for adults eating out?

Beautiful location

This property was good for us. There were 8 of us and we were in town for a baseball tournament. The only thing that I did not like was how small the bathrooms and showers are. They are updated and beautiful but very small and no countertops to put things.

Cozy condo

The big dining table that seats 8 is great. Kitchen is small, but good enough. Outdoor lighting isn’t great, so took a while to find the correct unit when we arrived at night. Overall, the cozy place was great for our Tahoe ski trip

Great family-friendly stay

We really enjoyed our family stay in the condo! The kids absolutely loved the loft, we loved that we could bring our dogs and what a great neighborhood for walking and hiking down to the village since there was no snow yet.

Overall an ok place to stay.

This is a condo at a ski resort a few minutes north of Lake Tahoe. The pictures presented in the promotional material didn't convey how many stairs there are to climb in this unit. There are three different levels so to get anywhere you need to traverse stairs constantly. Had we known that we may have looked elsewhere since we are all over 65 years of age.. One of the reasons we wanted to rent a home was to take advantage of using a washer and dryer in the unit. When we went to use the washer we found that none of the hoses to the washer had been hooked up. When we complained to customer service about it we found out a "new" used washer had just been installed by the owner prior to our arrival. We took the time to connect the hoses and started the machine only to discover after the wash cycle ended that the washer did not do a rinse cycle so all the clothes were sopping wet. We then had to ring out all the clothes and let them drip dry over night before we could even begin to put them in the dryer. Management was kind enough to give us a credit of $75.00 because of the inconvenience we had experienced. As for the beds, they were comfortable but they came with only a sheet and a comforter so we were either cold with only the sheet or too warm because of the comforter. The rooms themselves are good sized and well appointed and the mountain atmosphere is hard to beat.

Ok

Several things in the unit were broken. Although, the checklist that was filled out by Vacasa stated otherwise. We listed the items that needed repair. Also, it might have been helpful to mention in the description that there isn't AC in the unit. When we arrived the temp was 88 degrees. Not very pleasant.

Very Clean & Outdated; No AC

The property was very clean and organized. Many items that we needed were provided, such as: hand soaps, cleaning items, towels, dishes, ect. The place looked like it was decorated with items found at a garage sale. Great location with North Shore pool and amenities nearby. There’s no AC and when it’s 85° and above, it is absolutely unbearable in the afternoon. Check-In and check-out was easy and efficient.

Good place

We found this place as a last minute summer getaway. It’s a 3 level condo (bedroom on entry level but bathroom on top level with living room and kitchen. Bottom level has 2 bedrooms and full bath. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. Beds were clean and decently comfortable. It was stocked up with all the essentials including French press for coffee. The towels were good quality. We loved the perk of having access to the Northstar recreation for swimming hot tubs. That was just a drive down the hill. Downside: The place is kind of dark (needs brighter lighting) and design wise it is stuck in the 70’s, too much carpet (kinda dirty) and the curtains are outdated.

Great location

Beautiful place! Overall there were quite a few things that we were a little disappointed in. No portable crib, washer and dryer didn’t work, ran out of TP, trash bags and paper towels. Didn’t have enough bedding. We enjoyed our stay but wish it could have been better.

Worst ever

1. 95F outside and the place does NOT have A/C!! After 10 am it's not livable inside the house until 11 pm and that was using several fans 2. Place was dirty/unkept: old FILTHY carpet, dust, cobwebs everywhere 3. Furniture looked like it has been pickup up after someone left it at the curb, many pots/pans burned and old 4. Mattresses are probably 15 years old and have no cushion: if I slept directly on the carpet it would have been more comfortable 5. All window screens were either missing completely or broken Called for help once immediately after we walked in: we were told in a very neutral voice that no, the place does not have a/c and that the window screens couldn't be fixed. Imagine paying $400+ per night for a place like this. Both the owner and the management company should be ashamed they are renting anything like this: it's a disgrace!

Cozy home

Beautiful house in a wonderful area. My family and I enjoyed this place a lot. It had everything needed for the stay. Restaurants are not more than 15 min away (Truckee) or you can go to Northstar too with fewer options open as right now it is considered off season. I highly recommend and look forward to be back.

Outside icy steps not disclosed; no shovel; tv not working; 2 burners on stove not working

Property should be reviewed and many items should be repaired. Rental company failed to disclose long outside stairway which became icy during two nights of snow (particularly difficult to negotiate after recent foot surgery). No shovel left or salt. Two of the 4 burners on the stove did not work properly. The TV did not work. Not well cared for.

Nice Condo in Great Location

Great location. Nice size condo that allows pets at a reasonable price. Suggest bringing laptop or tablet to stream TV as not very many channels available. Shuttle stop close by and fast and easy to get to Village. Kitchen has basic amenities. Fireplace is cozy, wood not supplied. All in all a good trip.

condo needs updating also has safety issues no response from stove not working

this property needs updating and over all cleaning dusty old furniture lighting shower stall so small you cant extend out your arms or dare to bend over the carpet is stained old The burners were not functioning could not boil hot water for our noodles. I called Vacasa later never heard form them poor management compamy . Only television worked was one in the living room only had one chanel working . Safety issue in bedroom no tray over the heater could of tripped and got tour foot caught in it. I would suggest that its needs care I called vacasa but still have not heard from them!!! DO NOIT RENT THIS UNIT !!!!!

Great ski condo near Northstar on the Shuttle route

Spacious, comfortable, pet-friendly yet clean, and convenient. Just a couple minutes shuttle ride to the village for skiing. We did not use the shared facilities due to COVID. Note there are significant stairs getting into the unit.

Perfect Quiet Remote Office

Stayed here while a remodel was being completed on my house, but needed to work remotely as well. My pup and I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings. Had all the amenities necessary. Great spot, would be great for families too!
