We used this super cozy place for around two weeks for additional holiday company over Christmas and the New Year. Really wonderful. Excellent communication all around. Highly recommend. And be sure to stop in and have a meal at The Bear Creek Tavern just down the road. Highly recommend that, too.
Fourth year in a row staying here in November. Everything was great as always! Cabin is fully furnished and stocked with everything you need. Looking forward to year five!
This was the most beautiful, quiet, peaceful location. I loved the chickens that came to say Hi!. I had a short stay over the weekend however I would love to come back and have more time to explore the local restaurants and activities. Our rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable and it was overall a great experience.
Great location, had ice on the ramp and fell. So ensure ice melt is applied prior to anyone staying. Not much for cooking supplies and stainless pans which are tricky to cook with. Needs more light in kitchen, too dark to cook.
Took my mom on a relaxing weekend and it was great. Super quiet and cozy. I'm not great at making fires but I figured it out a couple of times and made it even cozier. I wish I had written down the check in info before we got up because I didn't have any signal, but my mom did so we figured it out. One small issue with the Internet and they responded right away and got it fixed up. There's some super friendly and soft cats that were around too.
We needed a place to stay while visiting family in Hinckley. Do not have a complaint. Thanks for making the place available. Our family came out for a visit and we enjoyed your place.
Our group of four women enjoyed our stay; cabin was as described and worked out well for us. Unique in that we were greeted by kittens and chickens which were definitely unique and cute. Communicated with the host family on two occasions and were very pleasant and accommodating. Enjoyed the walking trail they created on the property and wished it hadn't rained like it did so we could have walked more! Thank you!!
We slept well in the beds provided.
Everything worked, and we could adjust the temperature to be comfortable for us. It was nice and clean. We enjoyed all the dvd movies that were there for our use. The kitchen had everything we needed for the meals we made. The owners were available if we needed anything. It would have been nice to have a shower that was more accessible for someone with limited abilities.
