2 BR, 2 Bath, 2 Story with 2 Decks, Loft, Games, Pool Table. This is the best location in Pigeon Forge. REAL mountain views from BOTH decks. Bear Hugs Cabin is located in the luxurious Black Bear Ridge Resort.
This is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin. Please review your sleeping needs and the beds shown in all photos. The cabin is professionally decorated with a modern touch while keeping the mountainous feel. The resort has a seasonal outdoor pool and a friendly atmosphere. It's perfect for a romantic getaway, an escape with friends, or a fun family vacation.
Bear Hugs entertains guests with a hot tub on the second patio overlooking the mountain with REAL, uninterrupted views. The upstairs bathroom also has a romantic jacuzzi tub. Open the blinds to enjoy the mountain views. The cabin also has a pool table, arcade game, workstation upstairs, lounge area upstairs and down, flat-screen TVs, DirectTV, and WiFi. This cabin really has it all and is just MINUTES from the Parkway. The roads are all convenient to travel making the cabin very accessible. Did I mention the REAL views?
Bear Hugs Cabin sleeps two in the King bedroom downstairs. Other sleeping areas include a bunkbed on the second level (a twin and a full) in the game room which features an additional pull-out sofabed. Sleeps 6 comfortably (Combo of adults and kids is ideal - we cannot rent out to 5+ adults, for property management reasons). The upstairs also overlooks the downstairs living room. The living room has an electric fireplace, coffee table, love seat, and accent chair.
The downstairs deck has additional seating and dining space. The upstairs deck has new luxury composite rocking chairs and a hot tub that is perfect for watching the sunset while enjoying your favorite beverage. Both decks have uninterrupted views of the mountains as ALL trees in front of the cabin have been trimmed for your viewing pleasure.
With so much to do, you really don't need to leave the cabin, but if you do, we also have a seasonal outdoor pool on site. The cabin is located just minutes from the world-famous Parkway, and is a short drive to Gatlinburg!
New in past 12 months - new washer/dryer, new king mattress in the master bedroom, new high-end composite rocking chairs on the upstairs deck.
Other points of interest and features are a dining room area and kitchen with all amenities including a dishwasher. You won't regret choosing Bear Hugs and will want to make this a yearly tradition. Address to the resort (not actual cabin address): Black Bear Cub Way, Sevierville, TN. This will give you an idea of how close you are to all the attractions.
NOTE: The pool is open from May to October and we have paid for our guests to have access to the outdoor pool.

Family Get-Away

Great place to stay for our family of four. Kids enjoyed loft area with bunk beds, pool table, and arcade. Convenient to town and short drive to hiking areas. Hostess is wonderful and easy to communicate with. This was a return trip for our family.

Perfect location with great views!

We loved this cabin so much we can’t wait to come back with our kids! Fun nights playing pool, soaking in the hot tub, and watching movies from the nice selection of DVD’s! Bed was super comfy and we enjoyed the Chardonnay such a nice gesture. Very well maintained. Debbie checked in on us once to make sure everything was going well. No encounters with bears just a raccoon! lol.

Owner was wonderful to work with. Our family of 5 enjoyed the views, hottub and pool table the most. We saw two bears on property in the 5 days we were there. So cool!!

Such an amazing view. And great communication. The hosts were fantastic, and so was the cabin. The driveway wasn't really an issue as most are saying. Yes its a little steep, but didn't have any problems with it. The cabin was very accommodating and very simple check in/out process. Would definitely recommend bear hugs cabin to others.

We stayed at the cabin while visiting the Smokey Mountains. We wanted a mountain view from our cabin and this is exactly what we got! The home owner was wonderful to work with and was very helpful. This was also in a great location close to everything we wanted to do during our stay.

Great Cabin

This cabin was cozy and clean. The view from both decks were amazing. The video showing the location of the cabin and driving up to the driveway was very helpful. There are 2 ways to get to the cabin and Wears Valley Rd is definitely the easiest. The owner communicated great! We would stay here again!

My kids (ages 12, 12, and 9) and I stayed there for 4 nights and loved it. The location is close to Pigeon Forge activities but in a setting that makes you feel like you’re in the wilderness. Despite having several cabins built close together, the positioning of the cabins is such that you feel secluded even with all the windows. And the view! Magnificent! The layout of the cabin includes one formal bedroom on the main floor and then an open loft with bunk beds and a pullout couch. I was initially concerned that my kids wouldn’t do well without an enclosed sleeping room, but they actually loved the loft. It’s massive and has the best views. Indeed while we were in the cabin we spent more time in the loft than anywhere else, playing pool and old school video games. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The driveway wasn’t a big deal (although it helps to watch the video to know where you’re going). Above all else, communication with Denise was outstanding. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s house. The only minor gripe my kids had was the lack of internet connection on the TVs precluding streaming, but they soon realized that that’s not why we were there, when surrounded by so much more fun to be had. Overall it was a five star experience and one we will treasure.

The perfect getaway

This cabin was the perfect place for my husband and I to take a trip and enjoy the Smokey Mountains! The view was incredible - we enjoyed coffee every morning and sunsets each night. The hot tub was so great after our daily excursions. We were so happy here 💗 it was so nice to have a full kitchen and privacy. There are neighbors but it feels private. We loved everything about this cabin! If you are debating booking it- just do it! Denise checked on us but we didn’t need anything. We even played pool and the arcade game which was fun on a rainy night. This trip will always have a special place in my 💗 thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
